They abruptly closed Fallston office with zero concern for clients and the boys at the Lutherville office do not lift a finger to help clients; I asked for something on letterhead and was told to ask my counselor.… Perhaps office staff would say oh between me or your counselor we will get that done for you instead. When I noted that you need an advanced degree in counseling to provide something on letterhead I was told to stop abusing staff

The doctor at this facility is excellent as are the counselors. My only complaint is the unprofessional secretary/front desk man (Ian/Evan). He is consistently rude, unkind, unhelpful, as well as vaping constantly when… we (patients) aren't even allowed to. I found him to be a very negative aspect to an otherwise great place.

I am approaching 10 months sobriety and 10 months with Bergand. This place has been a game changer for me. I’ve done long-term residential (4 times), AA, NA, you name it but, the approach through their IOP and OP… programs, as well as, prescribed medications, has me in a place, mentally, physically, and spiritually, that I haven’t ever been in. When I came into the Group, I was in a very dark place and now, well, I came into the light and enjoy every moment of my life. Thank you to all the Counselors, Staff, and Nurses who saved my life. Keep up the amazing work you all do!

Ian is the best! Always goes above and beyond in scheduling appointments, calling in refills when I need them and he sends out plenty reminders as far as reminding me about my appointments. The office runs smother and… he is ALWAYS happy to help. Hope he gets a raise or at least a bonus!!

I highly recommend The Bergand Group, in Lutherville, to anyone struggling with addiction. I was pointed in their direction to continue with my recovery after leaving an inpatient program, and they have truly been a… blessing. Each member of their team has guided me along the way. SARAH, IAN, BOBBY, COURTNEY, GINA, WENDI, and DIONNE... you all help way more than you know!!

I've have been through many IOP and OP programs through out my battle with alcoholism. By far they are the best I've had the pleasure to deal with. Their councilor's and doctors are top notch. Especially Melissa and… Deon. All they care about is to help you.

I would give a zero if offered. I went in for an assessment, to which I did not feel that was the place for me. At the assessment I gave the receptionist my insurance card and was told their was NO COPAY. Next thing I… know they billed me $214. I was told it was a valid charge because of the mountain of paperwork I signed. They took NO RESPONSIBILITY for misinforming me about the fee they would charge. STAY AWAY!!!!! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!! AND HAVE NO EMPATHY OR UNDERSTANDING FOR SOMEONE WHO CANNOT PAY $214 FOR AN HOUR "ASSESMENT". They would not negotiate a lower price and even referred me to a different facility so they were 100% aware I was not coming back. I repeat STAY AWAY FROM THESE GREEDY PEOPLE!!! THEY PASS THE BUCK.

Before I start, Melissa, you were great. You genuinely care! Keep doing you! Okay…. So earlier today I was pretty upset after I relapsed right after being discharged from Bergand. I posted screen shots from staff and a… lengthy explanation of how I was treated. Instead, I decided to just leave this here. After half a decade with them, I figured I’d sit on all of my info and really think about things since my emotions are a little clouded, still, I would really reconsider other alternatives before you send a loved one here. Shortened version, I was discharged for non-complacency, even though I was complacent for the first 3 years (those were the years they weren’t understaffed)…. This time around… a lot changed… my doctor not only rescheduled appointments last minute, but straight up missed an appointment. I was accused of missing that one until I asked my counselor to check herself. When she found out she was wrong… instead of admitting she messed up, she continued the blame game and accused me using cause my levels had yet to fully dissipate. The day my doctor no showed me was a med refill. And my assigned counselor didn’t even respond when I asked to meet when I had concerns. Instead I got radio silence from them until a valid excuse was found to get rid of me.. and I believe it was because I called them on their neglect. From dropping the ball delivering a pre-authorization form to my insurance company (documented incomplete totaling 5 times) to accusing me of using when I was sober… which I WAS for almost 3 months until yesterday :( I guess right now all I have to say is if you or a loved one is struggling, please seek help, just maybe don’t do it here

My experience at the Bergan Group in Fallston was truly the turning point in my recovery. From the kindness and understanding of the staff, to the practical tools taught during sessions on how to navigate the day-to-day… ups/downs in life, were incredibly helpful to me. It was here that I was able to finally learn to live in this world with more positivity, strength, and self-confidence than I had before. All without alcohol-- something that seemed nearly impossible not so long ago. I highly recommend The Bergand Group in Fallston for anyone who has a desire to change for the better, no matter where you are along your road of recovery. Rest assured there is no judgement here. You don't have to struggle alone any longer. Join The Bergand group family and you will see.

I stopped going to their IOP program because the people in group were all still using and drugging. The psychiatrist discharged me because HE cited my mental health was "not a priority." I guess he assumed my mental… health was never a priority because almost every visit, he would comment on my weight, unprovoked. I was never a big fan of the doctor, and when I brought my concerns to the addiction counselors, I was met with, "Oh, he has a weird bedside manner."

Wonderful office staff, and the clinicians are very knowledgeable.

The quality of care is tremendous. The staff is very professional and understanding. They really help their patients with all of their problems. They offer many services and are great one stop operation for all of your… needs. The counselors are caring and they have a unique ability to understand each patient individually.

Bergand group has helped a great deal. Has been a great transition since treatment. Currently continuing in OP and look forward to group every week. Staff is flexible with working with your schedule and understanding of… all circumstances. All around strongly recommended

I came to The Bergand Group after leaving my inpatient, and being here has been a great experience. I went through the IOP program and have continued with the OP program for almost the past year. I love the way the… groups are run and how nice everyone here is, both employees and other patients.

The greatest place to come for help . The staff was so amazing and they really took care of me .

Great staff! Many options on different approaches and personalities to suit any need. Deeper than just sobriety, focuses on complete recovery of self. Helps to find the problems and not just get rid of the old solution.

How you doing My name is Michael Gee The program that we in and the case managers and a therapist is really wonderful we land a lot here but if we don't stick with what they teach us we'll keep repeating because they… give us enough tools to stay focused and live a normal function life the bergand group is wonderful and we also help each other in here and we motivate one another to move forward in life whatever goes on in our group is always positive and it stays there and we always try to ask others for answers to our situations that we goes on in life and I get my all and everything to stay focused on my dreams and goals and I really want to thank this program for everything and welcome me here thank God and have a peace and blessed day

Bergand and the staff is an incredible place where you can come not be judged for your heart out too and people welcome you with open . Of course when you're getting clean and sober it's not fun of course everyone has… the right to post their opinion about whatever they want however these people want to stay at your life and they'll do whatever it takes! Over the years I've been here four times and unless I want to make a change in my life they are here to help in anyway. I don't like seeing negative reviews on here and I know there can't be positive reviews without negative reviews and it's not always going to be rainbows and sunshine when you're dealing with trying to help someone stay clean and sober. If you do want help and you're getting there from someone with experience please help welcome you will not feel good and every day it will get all the better. Thank you bergand for sticking with me.

Not recommend, not effective. (Coming from a licensed medical professional of 22 years). Do your research and find something else. You will not see effective positive results (ie reach and maintain sobriety). Stop… bullying and intimidating family to get them to take down their review🤯🤬🤯 when people are entitled to their opinions or perhaps get a clue you need to make serious improvements. You have one review from someone else calling your program a scam.

The staff at Bergand Group provide an extremely comfortable and safe environment while providing top of the line substance abuse care at all levels of need. I feel extremely fortunate that I was referred by a friend to… them, rather than one of the more unsavory care facilities who are just looking to bill insurance claims. I found their pricing to be extremely competitive with other facilities and could not have asked for a better level of care and compassion. I was supported by their staff throughout my time there, and even afterwards when a representative appeared in court to speak on behalf of my performance in their care. It made a great impact on my life and in my court appearance. Highly recommend this group to anyone who needs substance abuse care at any level!
