The staff here is amazing. I’ve been to all the clinics from Dover to Seaford and this is by far the best place I’ve ever been. The methadone is eight, the staff cares actually cares! They have hot food and coffee every… morning in the community center side. They advocate for the unhhoused! They help with everything and anything you can imagine. Kristi goes above and beyond for me as a counselor and Jessica is an incredible person and does the same. If any staff member sees that I’m in need. I am offered help in some form or fashion. They check on me daily to make sure I’m alright. The iop leader ma Edith is kind and full of guidance. I could not recommend a maintenance clinic more than this one. They provide.
They are not consistent there is always something different every single time I go in & they keep messing up my days I get my take home’s & it’s getting to be really annoying I have to find MY OWN RIDE ON THOSE DAYS.… THEY NEED TO FIX ALOT IF THINGS. I CLIDING THEIR DR, Dr. Tiffany. She is very unprofessional & heartless. She makes you wait & wait she doesn’t even come in on time!
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services Clients feel so intimidated by staff members that they don't report ongoing issues in fear they will have thier dose held/not given. The doctor LITERALLY read loudly my… personal blood test results at the counter window for ALL staff and ALL the clients in the building to hear. She told me she matches energy rather than trying to de-escalate an emotionally upset client, and then she shut the window blind while still arguing with me through the window. Professionalism clearly lacks in this department, and this is someone responsible for peoples recovery treatment. We are more than just a paycheck. People have lives and responsibilities, which they DO NOT CARE about at all they treat everybody the same exact way, viewing every person the same exact way... an addict in active addiction. I'm trying to transfer with 30 take-home bottles with impeccable urine screens and bottle checks all perfect! They still want me to wait 30 days before I receive anything people can't do that when we have responsibilities because we have become responsible members of society. Another man came in asking for help in THE SAME SITUATION and works full time and there's no program in place for recovery clients that have done the work the time the trust so that we're not risking losing jobs then our homes then our kids. It's ridiculous that there's nothing already implemented for people transferring out of state like us because of this I was obligated having maryland insurance for 2 months driving to Baltimore for my monthly take homes so I wasn't stuck going without like this facility is making me do. I'm still waiting for a call back from the CEO, Lynn Morrison.
They are failing to drug test me regularly as intended. Edith is a good counselor, as is Michael. They have helped me find correct coping mechanisms and sources to stay in recovery. However, must be management, where my… drug tests are not being accumulated appropriately while I'm sober. Are they trying to help me or sabotage me? Very confused. Very abusive system if it's the latter. When I registered, Owen the front desk representative was very polite and professional. He explained how the program would proceed, which matched up the process of how the program was ran when I previously went through this for marijuana in 2017. Please do the appropriate thing in helping people in recovery. I will adjust my review accordingly, as it is in my power to do so. Stop abusing the system to appease unethical behavior of those in charge who are hypocritically sabotaging the ones healing from their abuse. It's wrong. Respect human rights.
Very inconsistent location, constantly going through employees which leads to doctor changes and scheduling that doesn't work with you and doesn't care to work with you. Overall this process is triggering to patients… trying to get their lives together. Not everyone has the availability to just leave work or miss work without repercussions. This location would be better if they hired employees that actually want to help people who made mistakes instead of treating people like their worthless.

Only times I have had issues here in the four five years is when I wasn’t making appointments or things that I could have done better . Now I’m working on my detox an got to 7mg got little too rough for me and they… helped me out with what worked for me an I just think it’s been a good experience for me overall

They have severe lack of communication...and they don't notify the patients of changes they make...this has been the worst place to go to I have ever had...mostly when peer councilors leave they just to hell with the… people they "connected" with and if things happen when you try to call back and find out what's going on they can't give you a straight answer...in my opinion...stay away from them..they hurt more than they help
For the most part the service is good. However they discharged me do to many positive urines. They would not offer me I. O. P. even. In patent only. Left me no choice but to leave. The Director Tiffany is heartless, and… has what it appears to be no compassion.
I've been going to this clinic for 2yr and up until today I never had a problem. Occasionally we have to wait in line outside which has never bothered me , the clients are friendly. Today it was very cold and prior to… getting out my vehicle there was a line. I stood in line and noticed another female pulling up to get out her car to stand in line however this female walked up to front of the line. The security then opened the door and let her go in front of me as well as over 10 other clients. I said to him that she should have to wait in line like everyone else. He then became extremely confrontational. Threatened to call police , hold my dose. The nurse asked what was going on and he then came behind me and continued to argue. I would have let her go in front of me had she had enough manner to ask. If you leave premises for any reason once your there already you are not allowed to just walk in front of other waiting clients. Any other Dr office would have been professional enough to explain. I guess because it's a methadone clinic things are different.
By far the best clinic I've ever been too. Staff are very friendly and caring. As long as your not one of those clients that try to come to the door a minute or 2 after closing then you won't have any issues. I also… really like my counselor. Not that I personally need this but they even have a place where you can do your laundry, or get a shower if your in a bad situation. Also they have food (donated) you can take too if your in need or anything. Very clean inside and not trashy like connections.
This place is THEE WORST MMT SITE I have ever encountered, I been/was a MMT patient for 10 years and transferred from Newark bci which is a 5 star resort compared to Milford .i witnessed on multiple occasions them turn… myself and 6 others away at 8:59 am Saturday morning.then lie to all of us and say it was unlocked till 9 which is impossible cause we were at the door at that time. I think they need a over haul of new staff members on clinical side and counseling, when spoken to supervisor his recommendation was to “find a different clinic, “ due to the false positive s problem and staffing attitudes…Wow ..so we avoid a problem because we don’t know how to handle it?!? Didn’t work in my addiction n sure it won’t NOW, I WAS CLEAN FOR 3 years until I was denied my medication 4 days in a row now
Great Place
Was discharged after a year on methadone and was basically told have fun with the withdrawal. You are supposed to be weaned off but only if your on the “good” list. I went from 80 mg to zero! Hello that’s pretty… dangerous Never saw same couselor twice. Didn’t have one 6 months I was there. First person I saw was the lady that sits in the drop in center. Only go here if there’s nowhere else. Should have known when couselors say I hate my job while we are all standing in line. Oh yea that’s the one I got! Would have succeeded if I had guidance
They're really rude cursing at me
I went there for the first time today. Staff so friendly, professional and compassionate! It's a 50 minute drive for me but it was so worth it!!!
