About Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment – Georgetown

Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment operates from 501 West Market Street in Georgetown. The site sits in Sussex County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Lewes, Millsboro and Rehoboth Beach. Delaware draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and an opioid treatment program. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 501 West Market Street, Georgetown, DE 19947, in Sussex County. The catchment reaches Lewes, Millsboro and Rehoboth Beach. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

This place is a scam ever since they turned into a methadone clinic and turned prescription visits into daily suboxone dosing which is 600 dollars out of pocket because they wont take your private insurance. So this… place said the reason life spring recovery and brightview both closed was because they were not "PROFITABLE". Thats a word that should never be associated with helping people especially addicts who may have nothing living on the streets. I know for a fact that several.employees were let go for over charging state insurance for services the patients never received. But they quickly.fired Jeff and never contacted the state to pay back the stolen money. I have been there for almost 5 years and have never taken fentanyl or.methadone yet my urine said I did so I said id like a.script.to go to a lab and have my blood drawn they refused.to let me and after 5 years of sobriety and going from homeless and jobless to being the store manager of a.grocery store and bought my first house. I go.monthly and was paying out of pocket because they wont take cigna. So after they refused me they.claimed I had to.joing the countless others who pay 20 dollars a.day to get the meds there which is 600.a month out of pocket that I cant afford because.of all the new bills associated with my house and they cut me off complete didnt even give me a 3, 5 or 7 day script to find someone affordable that didnt scam their tests. I went online and got a blood test done and 0 drugs except bupenorphine were in my system less than 24 hours from them saying I pissed dirty which is false.they are a cash grab scam they dont care about recovery they want the Profits off of the people.they should be helping im.also looking at filing a.lawsuit against them and contacting agencies about them charging for therapy and other counseling that we never got I usually.spend 10 minutes say hi to.everyone pee in a cup and go about my business but they charged for hundreds of dollars of counseling and they did this to everyone. They should be investigated and shut down. If you dont belive me ask the employees.who have worked and quit this place. I see new people every month.

Great nurse staff and excellent care on their part the counselors are always changing and the ones they do have are lazy especially my counselor (D) she doesn’t schedule appointments for her patients in time and… threatens to take away take homes even after being clean for 6 plus years because she didn’t do her job of seeing patients and scheduling them like she is paid for! Multiple hipa violations are broken especially if you have a significant other one goes there. Nursing staff is more caring and understanding than the counselors that are supposed to be your support team!

Made an appointment in advance. Was told it would be hour and half. Showed up on time and filled out paperwork. Was asked to provide a urine, bloodwork and TB test."No one ever told me I would be required to give a… urine/Bloodwork/TB test over the phone when i scheduled the appointment". Lady blew the vein out in my hand trying to take blood. "When I made the appointment over the phone I made it clear that I was paying cash and not interested in any type of counseling." I was then told I needed to meet with a counselor for a hour before I could see the doctor... 1 star for wasting my time and injuring my hand.

THIS FACILITY WILL PUT YOUR LIFE AND YOUR RECOVERY ON A POSITIVE TRAJECTORY (BONUS~WITHIN A FEASIBLE TIMELINE)..... IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BECOMING SOBER!!! My fiance and I are TRULY GRATEFUL for GEORGETOWN C.T.C.!!… HELP IS AVAILABLE PEOPLE.....YOU HAVE TO WANT THE HELP.....PERIOD!! My fiance and I both started our road to recovery only 57 days ago, by walking through the doors of this PHENOMENONAL FACILITY!! Sick of being sick, broke, sick of the stress and worry of the daily exhausting chase, sick of watching the Dope Man go on vacations around the world with our hard earned money.....and for what?!?!? Just so we dont feel sick and start to climb the walls?!?!? IF YOU ARE FEELING THE SAME WAY....TAKE YOURSELF TO GEORGETOWN C.T.C!! In just 57 days, we have STARTED STACKING OUR MONEY BACK UP, STARTING TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH FAMILY-GOING TO FAMILY FUNCTIONS! We are STARTING TO LIVE LIFE AGAIN....AND IT IS TRULY AMAZING! NO EXCUSES EITHER PEOPLE! BECAUSE THIS PLACE WILL HELP YOU!!! If you have no transportation to make this happen- THEY HELP YOU GET TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE FACILITY! If you have no insurance at the moment- THEY HAVE OPTIONS/RESOURCES AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE AND EVERY SITUATION....and THEY WILL HELP YOU IN GAIING INSURANCE! If you have no Primary Care Provider at the moment- They have an AMAZING DOCTOR ONSITE! ANDDDDDDD- THEY HAVE THE BEEBEE MOBILE HEALTH VAN COME RIGHT TO THE FACILITY TO YOU AND TREAT YOU RIGHT THERE! THIER PHENOMENAL STAFF IS UNBELIEVABLE!! They dont judge you or treat you disrespectfully, THEY TRULY UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL AND WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH! Each and every one of the staff members there ARE MY NEW FAMILY MEMBERS! From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you walk back out.....the vibe is NOTHING BUT POSITIVE, HELPFUL, ENCOURAGING, and yes- they hold you accountable to DO YOUR PART AS WELL....AND THAT IS OKAY! They are human too, somebody might be running a minute or two late in the morning or in between appointments.....dont you?!?! A staff member you may need to see or speak with may had to cancel and reschedule due to their own personal reasons, like a sick child, or maybe they aren't feeling well.....havent you called out of work at times?!?!? YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THESE THINGS DO AND WILL HAPPEN! (Very rare here, but it's to be expected) BUT, TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THE COMMUNICATION IS ALWAYS OPEN AND THEY DO AN AMAZING JOB WITH NOTIFICATIONS FOR (VERY RARE) SITUATIONS LIKE THESE!!! AND GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ACCOMMODATE FOR YOU!!! We met the DIRECTOR THE FIRST DAY WE STARTED THERE! She even reached out to us just to see how we are, how are we feeling? BECAUSE SHE TRULY & GENUINELY CARES AND WANTS YOU TO SUCCEED AS MUCH AS YOU WANT YOURSELF TO!! During our (SUPER QUICK AND EFFICIENT INTAKE) she offered us snacks and drinks!!! That first day heading over there, we felt all the feels!!! Intimidated, lost, unsure if this was just another waste of our time and emotions; actually almost turned around to go back home! BUT BECAUSE MISS TIFFANY MADE IT A POINT TO REACH OUT TO US, THAT SPOKE IN VOLUMES, of her character, the facilities mission, and if she believed in us that much.....we needed to believe in ourselves!!! AND 57 DAYS LATER MY LIFE HAS ONLY GOTTEN BETTER AND YOURS CAN TOO!!! The TAKE HOME POLICY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Yes, you have to put in the work, but THEY GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY VERY EARLY, UNLIKE MANY OTHER FACILITIES!!! GEORGETOWN C.T.C. is a CLEAN FACILITY, NO PARKING LOT LOITERING, NOBODY HANGING AROUND BEGGING FOR MONEY, LIKE WEVE ALL SEEN AT OTHER FACILITIES!! WE ALL RESPECT AND APPRECIATE THE GEORGETOWN C.T.C FOR BEING AN UPSTANDING FACILITY THAT WE ARE PROUD TO CALL "OURS".....NO "MESSY-NESS" WILL BE TOLERATED! COME GIVE GEORGETOWN C.T.C. A CHANCE TO HELP YOU SAVE YOUR LIFE! IF YOU'RE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR TREATMENT AND RECOVERY.....SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR LIFE- THEN COME JOIN THIS AMAZING SUPPORT SYSTEM (FAMILY♡) THAT THIS FACILITY OFFERS.....YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

If the doctors mess up your medicine, they will not fix it until they feel like getting around to it. There is no emergency medicine number for the weekend. These people don't care.

I can't emphasize how great this place is. The staff--beyond helpful and caring. Never have I been treated with the utmost respect by everyone there and not treated like a drug addict. Dr. Kim, shew she is amazing...… She went thru hell and Highwater for me with my insurance company, that's what a great se does for their patients. The counselors, they are the best..Jeff is awesome and just looks at ya and can tell your having bad day.. Stephanie...she is great and very understanding. Sharon, OMG... I miss her face at the front but she's still there doing her thing in the back and that give us time to chit chat for few minutes while she does vitals...the girls at the front desk are great and the new director we have there, she's awesome and very soft spoken. Very pleasant to talk to. I truly look forward to go to my appointments each month. .
