My time at Banyan Delaware was an eye opening experience. I learned from facilitators, Therapists, Case Managers, Staff and fellow patients. Recovery is a journey and mine started here.
Great program despite being severely understaffed. They go above and beyond to make sure every is getting the help they need. Shout out in no particular order to George, Eric, Reginald, Will, Brad, Skylar, Grace, JD,… Adam, Tee, Alan, and anyone else forgot. I apreciate even when coming intake on July 7, 2026 , welcoming me Jen, Sara and Megan. Seeing "Banyan Family", bringing tears of Hope and Joy as I saw Lorie, Dee, Angie , Darren, Tara,Sam, Adam,Liz, George,SHALISSA,… ELLIS, John H. Meeting new techs has been a pleasure and great help. Everyone assisting in my growth in recovery. THE REMINDER OF WHATS REALLY IMPORTANT TO LIVE A CLEAN AND SOBER LIFE ,AS WELL AS NOT RETURNING TO DRAWING TO THE VICIOUS CYCLE AND MADNESS OF ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS. L I finally gave up after being on hold and transferred on hold and transferred for nearly 45 minutes finally got through to somebody that was super apologetic assured me that it would not happen anymore that they will… personally get somebody from intake to get me all squared away to give them just a second and everything will be sorted out no need to worry and apologize for the delay and the BS once again that was 30 minutes ago so 45 minutes an additional 30 minutes so an hour and 15 minutes that doesn’t seem like a long time but for an attic that’s trying not to use and actually finally made that first step and trying to get help an hour and 15 minutes could be life or death. I have all the supplies I need to continue living the reckless and dangerous life I’ve currently been living the life. I’m seeking to change. Everything is sitting right in front of me. for example, let’s just say there’s a three part process to do the things that I do. I blew through step one step two and struggling and fighting to not do step three calling email anything it takes to get my mind off of it. I want to change I want help. I’m done with this life but banning y’all gotta get it together. I really don’t wanna go anywhere other than Banyon but I’m on to the next one.
I don’t really want to post the pictures but I am struggling with this and I finally decided to do something about it and check myself into banyan… I’ve been on hold and transferred and hold and transferred for the past… 45mins.. and still waiting as I’m typing this… I’ve mixed up my stuff and have it sitting in front of me begging myself to hang on… but I swear if they don’t answer and give me the help I’m so desperately seeking.. then I guess I’ll try some other time…

I had an awesome experience out of all the recovery centers I have been to Banyan was the best! My intake coordinator Shamara Coleman was a really great person to do my intake & made sure my transition going in & out of… the facility was welcoming & smooth! I appreciate everything!
I was treated great. You can't beat having a TV in your room. Staff is extremely accommodating. Nursing gave me all the meds I needed. I would highly recommend this treatment facility.

Everything was good except for the food. At times it was inedible
My experience at Banyan was a good one! I would recommend others to attend if they need drug and alcohol treatment. The Tech's Eddie, Jordan, Skylar, Richard and the nurses were phenomenal! They helped me when I needed… something and they did it in a timely manner. The nurses were great they accommodated all my needs. My case manager Ofan was great, he helped me with all my needs. The intake coordinators were kind and caring, and helped me check in and discharge out!! Latrease my therapist was also great. Like I said initially I would recommend this facility to others who have an addiction problem. I'm so glad I found this place to get my self into recovery. Some people will say that this place is not good, please do not listen to the negativity, they probably were not ready to get clean. GO TO BANYAN IN MILFORD DE. THEYRE THE BEST!!! 😁😁😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🙏🏼

I completed the program and was discharged successfully. I initially left a 5 star review. I have changed it to a 1 star review because they never sent my maintenance prescription to my pharmacy. I called and called and… was transferred back and forth from one side of the building to the other. They said they were fixing it and were short and dismissive of me. It’s basically malpractice to do this to someone: to not provide me with my maintenance after being dosed twice a day for over 28 days and not have any way of continuing it. This is how a release or an overdose happens.

This is my 2nd time in treatment and Banyan helped me what I didn't get the first was "knowing is half the battle".
Banyan is absolutely a life changing experience for recovery. My second time here and it’s always a better time. The staff is amazing and puts the entire residents first and there needs. Thank you to the entire Banyan… staff and members for all that you have done to put a positive impact on my recovery and putting my needs first priority.
