Brandywine Counseling and – Wilmington

This place is awful I’ve literally been trying to contact the DUI department for weeks trying to get my license back and when i do occasionally get through I just get sent from person to person being put on hold. I’ve… left voicemail after voicemail and none of my calls get returned , most unprofessional place I’ve ever seen it’s crazy these people are getting paid.if I could leave a negative 5 stars I would.

No one is ever available to accept calls. I've been trying to get in touch with someone for the past 2 months. All I ever get is a voicemail.

Very hard to deal with. Avoid dealing with them unless you have to, just my personal experience. They made my process take much longer. They gave me several referrals to the wrong place, I don’t recommend. This was for… an out of state DUI program, other people have had the same problem.

Workers are decent, I go once a month that's enough for me. But will keep you sober if you put in the work.

What is the point of having a phone number if it won’t be used… can’t wait to be done with this state mandated shitty service all a money grab. No one actually wants to help.

This place is highly unprofessional, to say the least. I’ve now paid twice to set up an evaluation through Zoom for DUI classes, and they failed to join both times. They don’t answer their phones, and the payment is… non-refundable—even though the issue is entirely on their end. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid wasting your time and money.

Got an out of state DUI they took my referral fee no problem and now that I’m almost done the class, I can’t get ahold of these people to submit the paperwork I need for my license. I’ve emailed them multiple times I’ve… called the phone off the hook daily and can’t get an answer. This is absolutely crazy and the fact you HAVE to go through these people to satisfy Delaware should be a crime. Something needs to be done about this.

Terribly run company. Weeks to be initially screened $150 paid up front. After screening 1 month still no contact from company left several messages with my info and no return call, email, text, or smoke signal. Another… efficient company needs to take over pleas.

All I’m going to say is GET RID OF THE RECEPTIONIST ASAP!!! She should not be in the field for helping people because obviously SHE DOES NOT CARE and also not that informative.

The unprofessionalism is awful. Delaware should be ashamed to work with this company. My son has left messages for 10 plus years and never a return phone call. They play Russian roulette with people's livelihood. So now… we are going to go straight to court to get answers why taking a DUI course twice, paying fines 4 times, sending in all the required paperwork, is not enough to reinstate someone's license. They are an embarrassment to Delaware!

This has to be the worse place to get any kind of treatment. The staff is very incompetent, inattentive to their clients and non responsive. No one returns calls or knows what is going on in their office. I had to… physically show up at the Georgetown office to get answers. I do not recommend this facility to anyone!!!

This is the worst place I've ever experienced in all of my 30 years. Disgusting building, rude & nasty staff that treat you like you're uneducated, dirty & love playing around with your medication. They treat people… like they are still using substances. & While that may be true for SOME, that's not the case with everyone & it's highly unprofessional to treat people in that manner. Some people truly want change & to be faced with a facility where people don't care about you or your recovery is extremely disheartening. In take is 6 hours. 6! Absolutely ridiculous. The doctor at this facility is NOT the problem. He's the only positive about the entire place. He's professional, polite & listens to your needs & makes a proper plan to assess them. Everything else is a JOKE! Don't bother calling the office. They will not answer at all. EVER. Family emergency?? Oh well! Not their problem. Need to change an appointment time. To bad! Also even if you've shown records showing you've been taking a medication for many months/years, they still expect you to come every single day to get dosed. Bottom line is they are extremely unprofessional and completely non conducive to anyone's recovery. Run don't walk if you're thinking about coming to this place. If you're looking for an alternative that accepts Medicaid call Savida health.

I called this facility for general information surrounding a client and was treated poorly and rudely over the phone. The call was disconnected and when I asked to speak with a Spanish speaking representative I was told… “no, she is busy.” The lack of professionalism and empathy for the most vulnerable clients was shameful, and should be reported to ethics board. I would not recommend anyone getting services within this agency.

Disgustingly unprofessional

All staff are nice and helpful. They dose you quick too. They also have food downstairs most the time.

This place is horrible at picking up their phone I had to callback nearly every day in order for someone to pick up and they don’t even email you back. And if you leave a voice mail they don’t even bother to call back.… Literally a horrible office that doesn’t help the people

This has got to be the absolute worst clinic. They really complicate things for patients. I hear everyone's stories and have experienced some myself. They give you take home bottles but if you mess up and ok for ex..I… had 14 bottles so I accidentally left them in my Uber and they took them from me. I had to go from going every 14 days to every other day. They were empty at that. I could go on and on about stories. All the counselors are quitting because they don't pay enough for the crazy stuff that goes on. I had 3 counselors tell me that. I'm writing the governor's office about them and I hope others will as well. They need to change That said, I do appreciate we have a clinic and we do have some counseling who care but they just have a lot of issues I wish would change. Even helping addicts more. Especially the homeless who need help.

They need to pay their counselors more money. Every time I start to open up to a counselor and trust them they leave for better pay some place else.

The ladys at the desk that were here before were so nice and helpful. This new lady literally NEVER answers the phone.. Please just fire her already Im tired of this.. Over the course of the past 2 or 3 months she has… never answered the phone once!

They never answer the phone! It’s so annoying! Left two messages last week and no return call. Professional people should return a call within 1-2 business days. Anything over 3 business days is ridiculous and… unprofessional. Called every day last week, multiple times during the middle of the day, and get a generic and automated message about an evening receptionist not being available. Someone finally answered the phone today and immediately put me on hold. I’ve now been on hold now for over 45 minutes. Come on, treat people with the same respect and consideration you would like. We also have other things to do than to call you repeatedly. Returning a phone call is part of the job and it shouldn’t take an absurd amount of time.

This place,,,I tell ya,,,they don't care if you have a job or not. They have not one bit of sympathy They want you to do what they say to do or they will dangle your medicine over your head like a puppy treat for a dog.… Medicine in which you now need or else be very sickly for about a month if you go cold turkey. I totally understand that we have got our own self into this position but alot of us are really trying hard to get out and why make that transition so difficult. I know their are strict rules from government to give this medicine but some staff are just down right nasty to clients and o am sorry that they make it that way. That's why it's time to soon be moving on.

This location is the worst to choose for dui program I recommend you guys choose some other location. They never answer the phone, the worker that does your intake Tanya Brock she does not do her job an is very… unprofessional she needs to resign. I had to prove so many situations taking screenshots of calls, emails etc. Take my word you do not want to do your dui program here. STAY AWAY!!

Horrible!!! Treats clients like peasants!!
