This was an amazing experience I’ve learned so many new things for myself and look at my situation and process in a different way staff was very nice and supportive and helpful in so many ways love it here felt low in… the beginning and now I feel like I found myself again
Taylor my therapist, was very understanding and helpful!
My experience at BasePoint was incredible. My assessment was quick and they were able to get me in as soon as the next day. I was welcomed by Jennifer and was shown the facility which is kept very clean and orderly,… she’s the first person I would see every day and was always very kind. Gerald also welcomed me and was encouraging. He gave me all the information about available resources to use throughout my time here (Calm Carry, weighted lap mat, noise cancelling headphones). Even though I was a self driver, my experience with Willie was great, he always welcomed us with a positive attitude. My therapist was Kristie and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She really helped me turn my life around and feel like I can get through life and “doing it scared”. Nikhil was one of the interns and he also provided great feedback. I made great connections with the people in my group (and the other group too) and I’m going to miss coming here everyday. I’m also going to miss the snacks. It was a great experience overall!
The staff is real nice and cool, if you ready to make a change in your life this is the place to do it. Thanks to my time at BasePoint I’m proud to say that I turned a new leaf in my life and ready to take what I… learned here with me into the real world. I cannot thank them enough for the great work they did to help me change my life.
I appreciate this facility so much. Everyone is kind but professional
The care that is received here is second to none. You are understood and handled with care. I highly recommend.
Amazing staff and facility! Edith was great and made me feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure my needs where met.
Feeling hopeful after receiving amazing care at BasePoint Breakthrough! Very impactful program and great staff!
This program made a huge difference in my mental health. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for help.
This program has had such a positive impact on my mental health and overall well-being. I’m truly grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking help.
It has been such a great experience working with BasePoint Breakthrough. I would highly recommend them to any adults seeking mental health care.
This program made a huge difference in my mental health. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for help.
This program is really helpful. I was able to start treatment within a few days with no trouble. I enjoyed learning from others in group and the daily interactions. I will miss this program and all the staff.
We heard good things about the place, but never made it in the door the intake lady was using high pressure sales tactic to bully me. "Only one spot left" "we will have to give it to someone else" the next day they call… at 7pm and need me to "get this last spot" I can't call her back or see if I can arrangements because she leaving for the day. She'll have to give the last spot to someone else" SHE SAID OVER AND OVER AND OVER to "give her my credit card right now" I haven't been that pressured since I went to buy a car. She was relentless.. and if they hired her to do that.. then I worry what they will do to my daughter. Not a safe space. I checked the number to see if we didnt get caught in a scam???? I called and left a message with the office and it was her who responded. WOW,
This program is amazing it really helped me with my anxiety and depression. So thankful for this BasePoint location!
Great staff & great resources!
This program helped me more than I could have ever imagined. I starting noticing change within myself after 3-4 weeks. The therapists really care about each of us and tailor each treatment plan to our needs. I highly… recommend BasePoint!
My time spent at this facility was filled with mixed emotions. I felt embarrassed and unsure of the outcome of taking this level of care, complaining about how long I had to be here and just wanting to get back to work.… But eventually I came around to the idea that this is actually helping me both mentally and emotionally. By my eighth week I felt confident and capable with the skills I learned here. I did a lot of crying, laughing, and feeling vulnerable, but I would not change a thing. While I'll miss the connections I made in this program, I remind myself that growth feels uncomfortable and it's unhealthy to stay stagnant even if it feels comfortable at the time. I want to thank everyone who helped me on my journey. Kristie, Nikhil, Crystal and Gerald with Dr. Dobbins on my care team. A super special shout out to everyone else not mentioned as you guys were definitely involved and appreciated for everything you do. I will miss you all.
i have had a wonderful experience here these past 8 weeks with everyone on the care team as well as all the patients I've had the pleasure of spending time with! A big shout out to Kristie, Crystal, and Nikhil, who have… been absolutely fantastic therapists throughout my short time here. They have prepared me for a healthier lifestyle and have given me the skills to work on my emotional well-being in my future. I will greatly miss this place and everyone here, and I will forever be grateful that I took the opportunity to come here! "It was fun, and it was cute!"
Christy is the best therapist ever!! She helped me get more comfortable with talking about my emotions and made it easier to communicate. I love Christy so much she is one of a kind.
Shoutout Taylor, Crystal, and Kristie for being so amazing throughout the whole process! Highly recommend coming here for treatment!
Kristie is incredible. I've never felt so listened to and understood. Her personality was exactly what I needed in a therapist and I wish I could have had more time with her. She is my golden standard for future… therapists moving forward.
Taylor, Crystal and Kristie were very great. I recommend them as therapists.
I did the 8-10 week program and by my 4th week I had made noticeable improvements to both my physical and mental health. The staff are true professionals and are so polite. I am glad I am done but sad to go, I really… did not think anything would change but so much did.
Highly recommend base point. The staff is incredible and the program exceeded my expectations.
The Provider Crystal I have to say is one of the most caring and understanding therapists I have ever met. I absolutely recommend basepoint and I especially recommend treatment with Crystal! She really listens and… provides thoughtful, supportive, and professional advice that I feel has positively impacted me!
Our experience with BasePoint Academy has been truly life-changing for our family. From the very beginning, it was clear that the therapists genuinely care about the well-being of each child they work with. They took… the time to understand my child as an individual, offering not just clinical support but real compassion, patience, and encouragement. Because of their dedication, I have seen such meaningful and positive changes in my child’s growth that I truly wasn’t sure was possible during such a difficult time( thank you Ms. Dom) The program itself is incredibly well-structured and supportive. BasePoint does an excellent job of meeting students where they are, both emotionally and academically. The combination of a strong treatment program alongside a built-in school component made a huge difference, allowing my child to continue learning while also focusing on healing. During a time that could have felt overwhelming and isolating, BasePoint created an environment that felt safe, structured, and hopeful. I am deeply grateful for the way they support not just the students, but the entire family. I also want to express my sincere appreciation for the transportation team. The young woman who transported my child each day was absolutely wonderful. She was consistently communicative, reliable, and kind, which gave me so much peace of mind as a parent. More importantly, she formed a genuine connection with my child. He was initially very upset and resistant about attending the program, but her warmth, positivity, and engaging personality helped ease his anxiety. Over time, she played a meaningful role in helping him feel more comfortable and even willing to go each day, which made a tremendous difference in his overall experience.(thank you Ms. Kam) I cannot thank BasePoint Academy enough for the care, dedication, and support they have shown our family. They truly make a difference in the lives of the students they serve, and we will always be grateful
Loved basepoint. Really helped me with my mental health.
I attended the adult PHP and IOP from 11/24/25 to 12/31/25 and I had a wonderful experience that I want to share. The admission process is scary and can seem fast, but they care and want to help you as soon as possible.… Priyanka did my assessment and she was respectful and helpful. Right away, my therapist, Kristie, was inviting and friendly. She created a very relaxed environment that still invited hard subjects to be spoken about. For a majority of my time there, I was in a very small group that allowed tons of processing time for each individual. The lessons also had time for my peers to share their experience with the topic for that day, be it anxiety, depression, etc. The individual sessions I had with Kristie were open and I felt very comfortable sharing my background with her, feeling no judgment. I even felt comfortable accurately reporting suicidal thoughts and self-harm, something that is daunting for many people. I am also transgender and she accepted and supported me unconditionally. A new therapist started while I was there, Kate, and she was lovely as well. She took over for a bit while Kristie was absent, and while she was not as experienced as Kristie, she was good at her job and incredibly nice. I did not interact much with the nurses, but they were kind and efficient. My psychiatrist, Akindele, was kind, and maybe a little intimidating, but he respected my wishes and I felt safe communicating honestly with him. I did something uncommon while in treatment, which was tapering off my medication with the goal of discontinuing all medicine, and he did mention other ideas he thought might be better, like going on different medicine, but when I advocated for myself, he respected what I wanted and did as I asked. The front desk staff were lovely as well, I interacted most with Jennifer. In general, the facility is well kept, clean, and provides water and snacks. We would frequently get lunch/breakfast, like pizza, donuts, quesadillas, etc. as a reward for attending regularly. I cannot comment much on the capability of the substance abuse as I wasn't there for that purpose, but my peers who were seemed to find it helpful and were not judged for it. The only true downside is the cost, which is not usually covered fully by insurance. With my BlueCross BlueShield, it cost around $3500. I am lucky to have supportive parents who can pay it, but many are not in that position. They do offer payment plans, though, and assist with getting FMLA or short-term disability if necessary. This program is hard and can be exhausting. Doing therapy every day for up to 4 hours is rough, but it improved my mental health in a tremendous way. I do not regret going and would recommend it to others considering intensive treatment.
