BrightView – Middletown Detox and Rehab Services
BrightView – Middletown is recorded as offering detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Supervised withdrawal comes first, with the greatest danger in the opening seventy-two hours. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Best place to be on track with you recovery
I started out in Fairfield years ago and then when midd opened I transferred bc of the counselor named Cindy moved there. Cindy is absolutely an amazing person and counselor and most of all a great friend. But she moved… to Florida to partially retire but still has some patients she still sees. All the ladies that work the front area are really nice and of course how can we forget Norman. He's the amazing NP who helped me w my medication bc I fell and broke my femur. Thanks Norman (9/15/26). Overall a really good place and you will get help for SUD.
I only go once a week and it is not court order.I always enjoy the time I spend there .The people I have met there (staff) are professional and doing their job but they make me feel it's not just a job to them.I have… been clean now( not that long) for 108 days,8 hours,22 minutes and 33,34,35, seconds .Life is good .I tried to get clean years ago I asked God for help.I screwed up after 60 days that lasted 3 years. I could not ask him for help again because of that.It has been so easy not to do drugs but it is nothing I'm doing..I feel God.I see him in people, music,A beautiful sunshiny day melts me so beautiful. So to anyone out there , just make up your mind God will show up I will never do drugs again. I'm sure brightview plays a big part in that. see ya. Mike
You guys have helped me out a lot I appreciate it Thank you
Was there 3 and a half hours. Never did get to see the counselor. Thanks for nothing.
I've been going to brightview for 5 years now. This location for about a year, the receptionist are awesome and get any issues fixed. :) and counselor and doctors are always nice.
The staff here makes a world of a difference in my experience in recovery! My therapist is amazing, the front desk ladies always work with me. Everyone’s encouraging and I couldn’t be happier to attend OUT patient… treatment here ! P.S. 58 days sober 😉
My last name is Duffield & I just want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for this place and everything it has done for me. When I was at one of the lowest points in my life, struggling with drugs and… feeling like there was no way out, this place gave me something I didn’t think I’d ever have again—hope. You didn’t just help me get clean; you helped me start rebuilding my life piece by piece. The support, patience, and understanding I’ve received here have meant more to me than words can fully explain. Even after those first steps, you’ve continued to stand by me, guiding me, encouraging me, and reminding me that I’m capable of more than I ever believed. Because of this place, I’ve found strength, clarity, and a new direction. I’m learning how to live again, not just exist. That’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. And most of all, thank you for helping save my life.
The Brightveiw and Lebanon, Danielle and Alexis are the ones that work at the front windows. These two should be running their own company or running this company. They are the most amazing people that help me through… my recovery that helped so many of my friends through their recoveries they are just two of the best people to go to For. Anything you need?
They don't respect appointments hour is not good
Love this place.
When I can to bright view I was still addicted to heroin they treated me like a man not a addict they were friendly and kind caring and they noticed me like I actually existed they treated me with dignity and through… that patience and understanding I was able to finally get off heroin I've been clean almost for 5 months now and while that doesn't seem like a lot it's the longest time I've ever been able to put together my whole life and I wouldn't have been able to do it if I didn't have these nurses and doctors constantly trying to help me do better and encouraging me and letting me know that I can succeed if you want to stop if you're really done or you just want to hit that point pick up the phone and call these people
Take forever I don't recommend
Cynthia was absolutely amazing and was great working with the rest of the team
My adult son comes to Brightview for treatment. He has been an addict for most of his adult life which encompasses the last 20 years at least. Of all the programs that he has tried this is the only program that he has… had long-term success with. In my opinion this program has saved his life! In September of 2023 my son was involved in an accident where he was hit by a truck and almost lost his life. A month later when he came out of the hospital he began his treatment with Brightview. It has been a long haul but looking very successful!
This place saved my life.
Honestly one of the only places that met me with exceptance and didn't make me feel judged even when I was struggling for months on end. This place is the reason I still have my daughter and I will be eternally greatful… for the staff.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff is AMAZING! I always feel comfortable there. Everyone is so friendly starting with the front desk, nurses, Drs, and of course the counselors. I never feel… rushed, and they actually listen to you and make you feel cared for.
The doctors and staff are terrific. They seem to genuinely care and listen without judgement. After a year of 5 assorted drs not listening to an unusual medical issue i had and basically deciding i was delusional,… bright view staff listened and opened their eyes and looked, and saw that i have been telling the truth all along. This year has been one of the worst and bright view's compassion and understanding has started to make things better.
I had a wonderful experience and the staff were so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this treatment center to anyone looking to get help.
Staff are kind and knowledgeable.
