Access Counseling Services LLC – Franklin Detox and Rehab Services
Access Counseling Services LLC – Franklin carries a listing for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Access Counseling Services LLC – Franklin Address, Location and Contact Information
You will find this provider at 4464 South Dixie Highway, Franklin, Ohio, 45005. Franklin sits in Warren County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

I absolutely love access Counseling they have helped me so much my dr is the best anytime I have any situation I call them and he responds in a timely manner and ALWAYS helping me in anyways they are able! I recommend… anyone that needs a therapist to reach out to access they are the best in my opinion and ask for Dr. Alshami who will help you no matter what!
It's awful sad I get kicked out of a mental health facility over a voicemail because of a new Dr messing with my mental health medicine. Mental health patients are not supposed to go 2 and 3 days without their medicine… at all! It's sad that after a year of being there I finally take the option of getting a caseworker just to ignored, pushed to the side from multiple case workers. When I wanted to speak to the supervisor about it I waited on a phone call from the supervisor for over 2 months. Finally called his boss, that's when he remembered to call. I've had a new Dr since around May (the new Dr told me my old DR was doing bad stuff and so she's no longer there), and I've went without mental health medicine twice already. You don't go without MH medicine for weekends at a time! That is putting myself and my family in a bad situation! I came into Access wanting help with grief and depression over the loss of my parents, and help finding a job so I wouldn't be in my head all day! Almost 2 years later I am now more angrier than ever, still haven't received therapy because my therapist wanted me to get stable first with a job and my mental, kicked out for refusing to take down a honest Google review, no permanent job, no help from a case worker on ANYTHING. I was so optimistic and already doing the footwork on my own, I thought I could use some help because I was scattered doing it and the grief was getting to me. I've been telling my therapist (he was the only one I thought cared) that I didn't feel right and I was going to end up blowing up on someone, and I hope someone is there for me like every case worker I had was there for the still suffering addict because every time I needed help from a case worker they was always having a an issue with an addict! What?! Basically what I got from Access is since I'm not using and only suffer with MH (I have over a decade clean) I get shoved to the back! When I finally go off on a voicemail after going without medicine 2 different times within 4 months they threaten to drop me as a patient. I leave a Google review, dr. Ashami calls and says "were a non-profit I need you to delete that!", mind you I don't even have my medicine yet! I don't remember facilities and Drs being like this when I was a child, so to say our mental health has gotten worse is very sad. AND OF COURSE NO JEFF, NO KIM, NO STEPHANIE, NO DEBRA, NO DR. ASHAMI, NO SCOTT! The sad thing is 6 months into this I knew it was going to be a mess, I was hoping it was just my negative thinking though. You are never supposed to be with a mental health facility for 2 years and leave worse than how you walked in there!
This place is a joke. My partner is a client here and there is always a problem getting her meds . She has gone days without her medication a few times now and this will be medication she can't go without. They truly… don't take mental health seriously at all. I wish this place would get investigated.
Dr. Ashami has helped me so much. I love this place. They will take care all of your needs!
This place is VERY unprofessional! I seen my doctor Wednesday just for him to not call in NONE of my medicine. I guess he was too worried about telling me how Dr. Adelman wasn't doing her job, and that's why I have him… now. Oh ya, and kept saying "I need to see you" (what?!), I see my therapist every other week in Hamilton and have for 18 months. I've been with him for approximately 4 months, the VERY first thing he does is cut me back on my meds, ive went 2 different weekends with zero medicine because Dr. Ashami thinks sobriety and mental health is a joke! I have 12 years clean but struggle with mental health. Every case worker there has treated me like I'm less than because I'm not in active addiction! My mental was diagnosed in the 90s, but my addiction didn't start until I was an adult. It's sad to see how people with mental health are being pushed to the back because addiction is listed as a "mental health disease", so they'd rather help someone who doesn't want help unless they are in trouble rather than helping someone who is physically doing the footwork to better her life. She just hit a few obstacles along the way. Shame on you all!
Largely a scam. Uses dated information in the public domain and collects money from taxpayers and "customers" - individuals extorted to attend via the Justice system. Said system gets kick backs in the form of campaign… contributions or lobbying. Undoubtedly highly ineffective and a waste of time and money - yet another "non-profit" or public health endeavor that simply exists to the line the pockets of a few at the expense of the many.
I just find it hard to believe they take a persons mental health seriously. I watched them schedule my struggling wife on a Saturday when they’re closed. Seems mental health is a joke to them….
I have only been one time and everything went smooth. Got me in quick and treated me with respect.
I inherited Dr Alshami at access counseling in Middletown, Ohio, I had been through many many doctors many many facilities, and I will never go to another one. This doctor is compassionate, intelligent, and more than… willing to go above and beyond for any needs you have. I recommend anybody who is going through grief counseling who has PTSD or any type of mental illness. Call and make an appointment today.
I Seen Dr. ALSHAMI today at the new Life mission. An it was a Very Pleasant n Comfortable meeting. He started me back on my Well Needed mental health meds, n was Veru Appeoachable n Caring to me. He made me feel… comfortable enough to speak of mu issues, n Together as a team, we our going to Get through this. Only will I continue with all the plans he's made for my benefits, is through Access Mental Health. Please go and meet n see him. Hes a Great Docoter. And a Great Program!!
My experiences at Access Counseling is Great! 👍 I got Dr.Alshami as my Psychiatrist and I wouldn't change having him as my psychiatrist for the world. Other doctors I have gone to see ; it seems like when I talk it goes… in one ear and out the other, but with Dr. Alshami, It really feels like he hears me and my concerns and listens to my needs. I feel like he truly is a phenomenal doctor. 😊🫶🏽🙏🏽
This place more than changed my life. I was in the depths of my addiction and this place got me out of that dark hole. The people who work here are very kind and patient. I think I’ll be going on seven years sober… because of this LIFE SAVING PLACE. I’m balanced on my mental health meds and other medications. This has kept my life on track! I couldn’t be happier with the services I receive here. Everyone if you are struggling please check this place out! THEY CAN HELP YOU!
They got my daughter in quickly and updated her protocol. Dr is very forward thinking.
Great place to be treated Dr.Alshami did a wonderful job treating my mental diagnosis, I highly recommend him at access counseling.
This year I will celebrate immigration because that is what makes the United States strong, and this includes my doctors. I would like to highlight my satisfaction with Doctor Emad Alshami, who is my psychiatrist. What… stands out that is so beneficial to me as a patient is the two way understanding between doctor and patient. I am always comfortable with asking Dr. Alshami a question and he always listens to me. This trusted relationship is why I am grateful for the care I receive with Access Counseling.
This place is a joke!!! Had an appointment at 10:00am and it never happened!!! I guess patients don’t matter
This is a place of greed and overworked staff. Profits over people. This business dumps a ton of new patients on already overworked therapists, who then take up all of their slots, and patients like myself who have been… seeing the same therapist for over a year, suddenly can't get an appointment. Can you imagine if a patient was suicidal and this happened to them? Are you guys begging for a lawsuit? They have a revolving door of therapists due to this issue, none of them stick around very long it seems. They get overworked until they quit, all to squeeze as much money out of people as the owners can until they burn their staff out. Second issue, is why don't Prior authorizations ever get sent to insurance? In the span of 6 months no one could send in 2 PAs? This is after repeatedly calling and reminding them, and it still never happened. A few years ago I was forced off of an antidepressant because no one could be bothered to send in a script to the pharmacy, that was fun. Medications for some people are life-saving, and to not send in their refills, or send in PAs to even get a medication, again, begging for a lawsuit. I can only assume that the nurses are also very stressed and overworked and that is why this keeps happening. I don't blame the staff. I know I am not the only patient this kind of BS keeps happening to, there is a reason for the very low review rating. This BUSINESS (Its upper management/owners) is playing with peoples mental health in the name of profit.
Doc is ok. Nursing staff are absolutely ridiculous. I don't even want to go in there if I have to deal with them. I have had retaliatory charges placed on my account by nursing staff, suffered accusations by one and… even had one nurse GET UP IN MY FACE, mere inches, to speak rudely and intimidate me. I'm now to the point that my healthcare PTSD is completely triggered by them. I get extremely anxious, have heart palpitations, and I'm getting defensive with any interaction with them. I even lashed out this last time. I believe they have left my messages sit for extended periods of time...because they can without repercussions. I don't think they really like patients, especially patients that advocate for their healthcare rights. The counseling staff are subpar to say the least. I don't know if they don't get paid enough to care or if they are fresh out of school and inexperienced, but that's really bad too.
Ive never had a problem. Ive been going through access for a few years now. Ive learned a lot about myself, the problems I've had and challenges I face. The people here couldn't be more helpful
I don't know what's going on with your number but it's saying service unavailable so I guess I can't call to fix my doctor's appointment
These people are dope.. Highly recommended
Waited 1hour and 20 minutes for my appointment !!!! After 45 minutes I ask the receptionist if the Doctor was running late and was told "oh you are next" !!! Another 35 minutes of wait time with uncomfortable stares and… whispers from the staff then this happens: after already seen the nurse, an hour ago, for my vitals they sent out the BIG bouncer Nurse to tell me that they hadn't !! Oh hell no ! I left ! MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO !! Could have done without this !! Oh, this isn't the first time I had to wait over a hour . MENTAL HEALTH HELP ? I question their ability.... Hopefully, the issues with this office staff has been "Remedied" ! I wouldn't know because I've never been back.
Drive-through psychology. Revolving door of worthless excuses for doctors.
Highly recommend!!!! Dr. Rokeya Tasnin is the best. She cares deeply for her patients. Have went here for years. They offer therapy as well as medication management.
Relatively new to access,so far i have seen my counsler whois great, did a telehealth phone apt with the nurse with she was very nice, who promptly set me a phone appt with the nurse practioner this morning who will be… giving me my mental health medication and maybe making adjustments or adding something new if needed for my bad anxiety issues ive had recently, and have an appointment with him next week to meet in person to keep me moving forward in a positive way hopefully so,yes kind of new but my services here so far is good!nothing to really complain about yet
