Atrium Medical Center – Franklin Detox and Rehab Services

Atrium Medical Center – Franklin appears on the register for residential treatment. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

I was admitted due to having a blood clot and pain in my chest. I was checked in but my nurse Kendra said there was a doctor to see me in 30 minutes but I never saw a doctor for a couple hours and couldn’t even get the… right nausea medicine and then after running tests the doctor that was on call never even updated me, she just released me? I had to ask for the doctor to come see me to find out about my blood clot which now is 2! She had left for the day? She eventually called my cell phone? When did I say I wanted a phone call? The doctor showed no sympathy and assumed that I should be okay she said because nothing has changed in a day? Well I guess adding another blood clot and dropping another point on my hemoglobin was not cornering for her? I feel as if I was treated like an inconvenience instead of a patient.

Last night, the night staff at this hospital failed to get my grandmother her dinner, so she went all night without any food, and then they repeatedly ignored her calls and refused to come help her up to go the the… bathroom, and finally left her in the bed for over an hour, freezing cold, covered in her own urine. THIS IS ELDER ABUSE and every person on that shift deserves to have their license revoked, especially Margaret, the lead nurse on staff during that shift. There is no excuse for this LACK OF CARE and NEGLECT. I came to visit her a couple times this week and saw nurses at the help desk online shopping when they were not responding to her calls. This is the type of job where the patients need to be prioritized over their shopping addictions. This is absolutely the worst she's ever been treated and I can't believe this could happen in a hospital.

I recently had a stay at this hospital, and unfortunately, my experience did not go as well as I had hoped. While there were some staff members who were kind and helpful, there were also aspects of my care that left me… disappointed and frustrated. I felt that communication could have been much better. At times, I did not feel adequately informed about my care, what was happening, or what to expect. I also felt that some of my concerns were not taken as seriously as I would have liked. I understand that hospitals are busy and that caring for patients can be challenging, but when you are a patient, you want to feel heard, respected, and cared for. My experience did not consistently meet that standard. I hope the hospital will take feedback like mine seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve communication, compassion, and the overall patient experience.

The worst hospital i have ever been to in my entire life, full of incopient and rude nurses and staff. No one was on the same page with my husband care. They discharged him with dry blood all over him after hear cath,… and had him walk out without w/c in only nonslip socks when was listed as fall risk throughout his whole stay, he's covered in bruises and didn't even fix what he came in for and had him waiting 3 days for heart cath, that wasn't even needed. They didn't explain how meal ordering went so they just sent a random tray for him everytime. Save yourself the pain and suffering and don't bring your loved ones here.

I would not recommend my dog to go to this hospital. My mom was in the hospital for over 1 week, and in that time she was there 4 different doctors came in and gave updates for another patient, thinking it was her. What… about HIPAA laws… so disappointed. Again, think twice before sending your loved one there!

My daughter was supposed to have a c section on December 17. On December 5 they decided to go ahead with it and deliver him earlier. She required 2 units of blood. That was on a Friday. On Monday they came into release… her. They told her if she experienced any nausea, throwing up, high blood pressure it could be preeclampsia. Both her and my son in law told them she was experiencing all the symptoms. She was swollen only on the left side also. They ignored them like it was nothing. Their son was not dismissed until Tuesday, but they allowed them to stay in the room till he was dismissed. So when they dismissed them, they didn’t even wheelchair her out. She was not feeling good the rest of the week. By Saturday night it was so bad she couldn’t breathe. The weather was so bad , she didn’t want to risk taking the baby out. We took her early Sunday morning. When we got her to the ER, her blood pressure was 164/112. She was in congestive heart failure. They rushed her up to ICU. Dr. Brown was able to get her stabilized. She was to be released on Wednesday morning. Before she could get back home , the babysitter put the baby down and walked in the bathroom. The dog jumped on the edge of the bassinet knocking it over and bit the baby. She seen the whole thing from the outside on her Blink cameras. The police, crime tape, the screaming. NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THEY HAD LISTENED TO HER IN THE FIRST PLACE. She is now without her baby, her dog, ridiculous medical bills, not being able to work, ridiculously priced heart medication, not knowing if she can ever have another baby. And again they didn’t once again give her a wheelchair out the door after she experienced all this trauma. We reached out to patient advocate and in return got a letter how sorry that they were because she was unhappy with her care. Unhappy with what care? You basically help cause the death of my grandson. Almost let my daughter die and have destroyed a family and a community.

I am giving the Atrium Medical Center 4 stars because of the following individuals who took great care of my husband; Dr. Susan Collins the surgeon, was very nice and took time at each visit to explain in detail the… next steps. Nurse Kylie who works in the ER was very hands-on while caring for my husband. Nurse Hunter who works in the 4th floor med surge took great care of my husband. Nurse Jennifer who works in the Observation Unit. She greeted me every day she saw me and took care of my husband during his stay. There were a couple of bad experiences, however because of the individuals mentioned above it was their compassion that outweighed the bad.

I was recently admitted to this hospital and I can give a shout out to all the nurses that I had because they weren't the problem the problem was the pulmonologist, he has no idea what he's doing, plays with different… antibiotics and keeps changing the diagnosis..I told him I was going home and if needed get a different opinion at a different hospital..I don't recommend the specialist at this hospital because they treat you like they are competing with other Drs

Total lack of communication. Doctor indicated that he would see my father 'tomorrow', but a social worker decided to discharge him at three o'clock without informing anyone. Is it too much to ask that families are given… correct information about what is going on?

The worst hospital ever & I have been to several in my 50 plus years. Staff is rude & incompetent! Told me pet scan was 4 hours, I drop my Mom off at lunch and it was only a 45 min test so my Amon had to wait 3 hours… for me to come back and get her cause they’re clueless there!!! Dr’s associated w/ the hospital you have to call 3 or 4 times to even get a callback. Go to Kettering or UC Health cause between this and when I was actually in their hospital, I got nothing good to say! They almost killed me during covid!

How come every single family member who goes here either dies or has something seriously bad happen in the 12 hours immediately following their release from this hospital??? Why is this hospital SO BAD?? If you love… yourself and your family- DO NOT COME HERE. There's multiple things around me in my life that in case of an emergency and i cant speak- better NOT take me to Atruim!!! They WILL KILL YOU. And the sad part is, I gave birth here. I once praised this hospital. But the same floor that gave me life, took it from me too. ICU Nurses are a JOKE!!!!!!
