I began therapy a couple of months ago & it has already made a big difference! My doctors have gotten my meds adjusted & they are helping me get to the root of my issues. I'm sorry I didn't start therapy sooner. I… cannot say enough good things about PPS & my progression! The staff is wonderful too! Don't do what I did, suffering in silence, hoping my issues just go away. Call them & see how they can help you too!
PLEASE READ I have been a patient at this practice for approximately 8 years, but after my most recent experience I have decided to continue my care elsewhere. I have been stable on the same non-controlled medication… for years and have not needed any medication changes. Despite this, I am required to come in for appointments in order to continue receiving refills. At my most recent appointment, I had barely sat down before the provider asked if I was still doing well and told me she would send my prescription over. The entire interaction lasted only a couple of minutes, yet I still had to pay a $20 copay. While I understand that providers may require periodic follow-ups, this was frustrating given how brief the appointment was. More importantly, I specifically explained that my insurance requires this medication to be prescribed as a 90-day supply. If it is sent as a 30-day supply, my insurance will not cover the prescription. I made this very clear during the appointment and was told that a 90-day prescription had been sent. Unfortunately, a 30-day prescription was sent instead, and I received an alert from my pharmacy that my insurance would not cover it. I contacted the practice three times over approximately two hours, including their medication line, and left messages but received no response. My pharmacy also attempted to contact the office without success. Because the office then closed for the weekend, my pharmacist ultimately had to provide me with a small emergency supply to ensure I did not miss doses until the office reopened. This is a medication that should not be abruptly discontinued, so being put in a position where I had to worry about running out was incredibly stressful and, in my opinion, completely avoidable. I understand that mistakes happen. What frustrated me most was that I had specifically addressed the 90-day requirement at an appointment I was required to attend, was assured it had been prescribed correctly, and then could not reach anyone when I discovered it had not been. After 8 years as a patient, I’m disappointed that this is ultimately what led me to seek care elsewhere. I sincerely hope other patients have better experiences, but I wanted to share mine because continuity and accuracy with psychiatric medications are extremely important.
The owner is not a good person. This place is absolute trash and no one should use their services. They do not care about their patients, they definitely don't care about their staff, and no one should go here. Avoid at… all costs.
Always a great experience at PPS! The front desk staff is consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful, and the wait times are always short. Thank you for making every visit so easy and pleasant!
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I would rate 0 stars if I could. I have been coming to PPS for almost 10 years at this point because it's so insanely easy to get into when good places are so hard to actually get an… appointment at. Even though PPS is good at getting you in quickly, trust me when I say I've tried to make it work for 10 years and it's NOT WORTH IT. Dr. Aziz treated my brother for ADHD when I was a kid so when I started having symptoms, my mom took me to him. He told her that I didn't have ADHD nor anxiety or depression bc teenage girls were just “like that” my mom got reasonably upset and he talked down to her in a way that was completely unacceptable. My dad had to take me to appointments after that for me to get treated seriously. As I started getting older, my depression and anxiety became more profound and PPS has tried me on probably 20 different medications because they can't keep a provider to save their life and they don't check their records. I've had two therapists leave (Libby made me more depressed than I thought humanly possible for a therapist to make someone feel and made me cry every single appointment, she also tried to gaslight me into thinking I don't have BPD and autism when right after I left her I was diagnosed with) and 5 psychiatrists leave without warning bc this place is so awful. I feel bad for the people who work for Dr. Aziz. Although not the front staff as they are rude, and do not know what they are doing. It's sad because I have had good psychs here. Rachel and Beth were amazing but they left because I have to assume they also realized how corrupt this place is. And I know for a fact they don't check records because after Maggie left without warning, and I tried to get the new girl to give me my meds, they tried to tell me I had never been on stimulants and didn't have a history of ADHD so they couldnt prescribe me any, however I was literally treated for ADHD by them before and have been diagnosed with ADHD for years, so either they don't look at the records, or the 10 minutes they allow their providers to have with clients surprisingly isn't enough time to be properly treated by thoroughly going through years of records. They have also canceled and changed appointments with no warning and it's my responsibility to over the charges, which is ridiculous to expect of a college student. Dr. Aziz has put me on medications that have made me literally insane and he won't listen to how they are affecting me. They also don't tell you symptoms of drugs or cross check if the meds you are on are okay to be on together, as the med combo he gave me also gave me serotonin syndrome at one point and I had to be hospitalized. It's taken way too much time for me to realize that this place hurts more then it helps. I feel obligated to share my story and to try and help people from having the same awful experiences that I have. DO NOT COME HERE.
The scheduling department is the worst I've dealt with in over two decades of receiving psychiatric care. They transferred my care to another provider and did not inform me. My provider left the practice two weeks ago… (gee, I wonder why) and, rather than calling and explain, rather than giving me any kind of discussion about who would be providing my care, I received a text message confirming my appointment with a provider I've never met before. When I asked why I wasn't informed, I was given a half hearted "sorry about that" and told that I would be seeing the new provider. They seemed very confused as to why this is an issue. The provider is a man (I strongly prefer to see female providers due to trauma), then I was told "well, who do you have in mind?" As if I know all of the providers available. As if I know who takes my insurance. As if I know who is accepting patients and who has worked with my diagnosis before. I am actively seeking to transfer my care out of the facility and I hope other patients do too. This isn't the first awful experience I've had with their scheduling department and, since I can't get in elsewhere, I'm sure it won't be the last. I'd give zero stars if I could and I'm not at all surprised by why a great mental health provider wouldn't want to work with these people.
I was a patient of this practice for 4 years and left in winter 2025 after they changed providers on me for the third time without notice. I showed up for my appointment and they told me I would be seeing a different… provider. I refused the appointment and they have been trying to charge me a "no show fee". I did not "no show". I showed up to my appointment and my provider was not there and without informing me, they decided to schedule me with another provider. That is unethical and unprofessional. I was not contacted nor given an option to refuse to see the other provider. Do not go to this practice for your psychiatric medicine needs. They cannot keep providers for some reason, they do not communicate, and they will harass you with fees if you call them out about it.
Pill pushers. Dont go here. You can tell them whatever you want and they ask no questions, just give you drugs. They had me on pills for everything under the sun for stuff I didnt need, but didn't help what I initially… went for. I guess falling asleep at the wheel will cure anxiety, right?🤷♀️ now I'm afraid to go to a real Dr that can actually help me because im afraid they'll all be like these people. They're super sweet, but hard to say the devil didnt train them. To this office, please don't respond with your "I'm sorry you had a bad experience " comment. Some things can't be undone nor can an apology be accepted. Absolutely disgusting place.
The doctors and staff are amazing. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend!
Dr. Peay is phonemail! The entire staff is very friendly and helpful
Usually I don’t like to write google reviews but I am writing today to help people who are struggling with depression like me for years and they needed help. TMS treatment was amazing , the staff is very respectful and… I felt a huge improvement after I finished the treatments. If you are struggling with your mental health, this is the right place to go.
The best, been coming for years, no issues and always clear communication
I had a great experience with the professional psychiatric services. I was very hesitant at the beginning after I read the google reviews to request help at this place. I started TMS service two months ago,It was… amazing,I felt great improvement .I felt love ,compassion and care from the team. The TMS team are very respectful and knowledgeable.Highly recommended .
I have thought about writing a review for awhile. Figured it was time when I saw their rating had went up from last time I looked, probably from begging people to review. I had a horrendous experience here. Ridiculously… long wait times. Like 45+ minutes sometimes. Front desk communicating poorly which cost me an extra $75. When I was finally taken back for one of my appointments, I overheard the person I was seeing complaining to another therapist that it had been "back to back to back" clients as I was coming to her office and that she hadn't had a break. Then they spend 5 minutes with you. Maybe book your day in a way that allows you to take care of your clients and treat them like people instead of cattle. I went to get assessed for ADHD and the lady that did my assessment took absolutely none of the information and examples I gave her and just wrote "homeschooled" on the childhood portion of my assessment. If you aren't atypical, don't look for help here as they don't seem to have the ability to assess anything other than the most common of life experiences. This place set me back. Was I emotionally in a bad place when I went here? Yes. That's the point. I needed help and I absolutely did not find it here. Please go anywhere else. If I had read reviews before going I definitely would not have wasted the time, energy, and money I did on this place.
0 stars! Billed me for a therapy appt that even the appointed therapist herself couldnt attend and then demanded I pay it or it'll go against my credit via collections (who cares!). The therapist wasn't even available… for that session! Also, my previous therapist from there had an ego problem when it comes to talking to high functioning, intelligent clients. She wrote a statement to my court saying that I talk too much about things that don't matter (in essence) even though everything I spoke of mattered to me. She attempted to wreck my life and my children's lives in a child custody court case (thankfully other professionals reported the exact opposite of what she said about me). Beware of this place. They push pills more than anything. Behavior/cognitive therapy is a joke here. Do not go here. It is an over priced and unworthy experience all the way around, especially if you actually want to be uplifted and put onto a path of feeling good about yourself. My therapist was shame-centric and demeaning, acting as though she understands Christian scripture but truly has no clue how to live The Way based on how I was treated in therapy and via her assumptuous court-facing declarations of me. I waited several years to post these truths bc this is the kind of place to try and ruin their scorned ex-patient's lives in court. The judge has no interest in seeing information from them, which is why I feel safe enough to finally peel the layers back on this rotten onion. Please save yourself the trouble and disappointment and do not spend your money / time here.
I have been a patient at this practice for approximately 15 years and, until recently, had never had any significant issues. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Over the years my… provider has been changed multiple times without any notice, which makes continuity of care difficult. Most recently, when I needed a short bridge refill of medication, the office refused despite my long history as a stable patient with no prior problems. None of my medications are controlled, and the situation occurred during a financial hardship when I was unable to attend the standard three-month visit. The practice does not offer any financial assistance or flexibility in situations like this. I have also been attempting to obtain copies of my medical records. I have called and emailed multiple times and have received no response. Patients have a legal right to access their own medical records, and it should not require repeated attempts or a public review just to receive acknowledgement. I have noticed that this office often responds to negative reviews by arguing with patients or attempting to portray themselves as the victim. I would encourage readers to keep in mind that many patients try to resolve issues privately before leaving reviews like this. At this point I am simply requesting the records I am entitled to under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). If I do not receive them promptly, I will be forced to pursue other avenues to obtain them.
Excellent care, felt like a new person in two weeks. Would highly recommend!
My first visit with Dr. Aziz I was amazed at how well he read my ADD symptoms. I thought I was going to have to go in and explain why I have it but he knew within a few minutes of me talking. I think he is very… knowledgeable and has helped me get the right medication and dosage so I can succeed at work and going back to college at 30 years old.
Highly recommend Dr. Peay!
Dr. Peay is to therapists what I consider Bob Dylan to be for musicians; an example of cutting through to what matters in a way that’s not so invasive or extra. I’m really grateful that in my chaotic week, I have a… designated time to slow and reflect, to be still and introspect. I’d recommend her to anybody.
Very good care given here! I recommend all to come here. Mental health is the most important thing to take care. Please seek help if you need it!!
I have been going to PPS for a little over 3 years. Courtney was the best and changed my life and she actually listened to me and helped my anxiety and ADHD so much and so was Rachel (they left bc I guess they lived in… NKY and it was a drive - totally get it and I miss them dearly) Beth was okay - she seemed to rush me on my appts but I didn’t mind. We tweaked my cocktail of meds a bit when I started to get a little depressed due to my anxiety meds dosage being to high and she actually helped influence me to get my thyroid/bloodwork checked and so I didn’t really need to change much for my prescriptions for well over a year. I am giving 1 stars based on the downhill from the front desk folks (and by who is in charge of these fake AI generated responses) in the past 6 months and then the experience I had with Dr. Aziz from this past months appt and when Beth left. No one told me she left. I had an appt with “Mohammad” on the new systems app. I had never met him or even knew who he was. He was 20 minutes late (teledoc) so I called the front desk and they said give it another 10 and if not call back. He joined in and looked like he just woke up and had some strange lady just looking at me the entire time in the background. He asked how I was and said Beth was no longer coming back and it was a bit of a shock. He was warm so I thought I would like him. And then he did a complete 180° and said oh well we can’t prescribe your medication anymore you take midday and give you this so I’m just not going to do that. I was in complete shock - he just met me - it took months to find my cocktail/dosage and now he just decided to change my medication bc he felt like it and his reasoning is because its his opinion - I have so much research saying it’s okay. (It’s a midday 5mg adderall - when I take a extended release in the morning) he then mentioned the dosage/medication questioning it that I first started out on and I said sir I haven’t been on that since 2022 so he clearly wasn’t even looking through my file all the way. I eventually hung up on him. I was so upset crying. I am so shook up still by the conversation. He just didn’t care at all and was like a robot. I was just another notch on his belt. I will finding another place. I just can’t go back to this place.
I’ve improved a lot since coming here would recommend
They have been extremely helpful.
Jen Baker is absolutely amazing. She is easy to talk to and knowledgeable. She has helped me to manage my anxiety etc. I’m so glad I was able to find her. She is truly an Angel.
Excellent team. TMS is great here too.
