About CODAC Behavioral Healthcare II – Saunderstown

CODAC Behavioral Healthcare II operates from 3045 Tower Hill Road in Saunderstown. The site sits in Washington County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Kingston, Narragansett Pier and Wakefield-Peace Dale. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at CODAC Behavioral Healthcare II

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and methadone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

CODAC Behavioral Healthcare II Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 3045 Tower Hill Road, Saunderstown, RI 02874, in Washington County. The catchment reaches Kingston, Narragansett Pier and Wakefield-Peace Dale. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Some of the counselors are ok, but the majority of the place is all about getting grants and all about the $, it is what it is. They don’t even follow their own rules. and constantly change their rules to accommodate… themselves, so a Recommendation would be, don’t mess with opiates. If you get hurt, deal with it. Dealing with places like this is by far one of the worst experiences you will ever have. Pain eventually goes away, the stress and the bad taste left with you from dealing with places like this last a lot longer.
