DreamLife Recovery LLC – Donegal Detox and Rehab Services

DreamLife Recovery LLC – Donegal is recorded as offering detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. The withdrawal stage is clinically observed, which is what makes it safer than stopping alone. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Last year my daughter spent 40 days at dream life and I will be forever grateful. Curtis is a gift from God by also offering families counsel on zoom daily. He is tough but that is truly what we all needed to break… cycles of co dependency and addiction. This is not supposed to be a country club and it can be tough but my daughter is thriving a year later. Thank you all!

Good place Loved staff and I came out proud and feeling great! Only problem is they manipulate you with work letters and try and make you stay longer then 30 days with a failure of completion. Total insurance scam and… you will be ignored and outed by Therapists and treated like garbage by Sean and Curtis if you don’t agree to stay 35 days which was very sad and disappointing and could’ve been detrimental to my recovery but to their disappointment I am doing great and will continue to do so!

Do not go here ever. If you want to leave after detox they will not give you your phone or wallet and will make you come back to get it. They will not let you call for a ride either. This is a tactic to try and get you… to stay so they keep getting the insurance money. This place made me have panic attacks and feel trapped. The staff here is terrible and I would never send a loved 1 to this awful place.

As the parent of a son in recovery from alcoholism, DreamLife Recovery’s Family Class has been incredibly helpful and eye-opening. I came into this program wanting to understand what I need to do going forward after my… son leaves rehab, and I now feel much more hopeful and prepared. I attend Al-Anon regularly and have learned so much there, but this program is different. It has what I’ve learned two steps further. It has helped me better understand addiction, healthy family support, boundaries, and my own role in recovery. Most importantly, it is teaching me how to be a positive advocate for my son without getting tangled up in his issues or enabling unhealthy patterns. The family education and open discussion format create a supportive space to ask real-life questions and learn practical tools. I am grateful for the guidance, clarity, and hope this program has given me. I would highly recommend DreamLife Recovery’s family program to any family member who loves someone struggling with addiction. THANK YOU!

I went to them on December 21, 2022 by the time I was able to get there that day I was going through withdrawal the team was wonderful before they even did the intake process they made sure that they got be properly… medicated to help me so that I would be safe. They were wonderful explained everything made everything safe and helpful with my family during the time as it was difficult for us as it was so close to Christmas but at that time I know I needed the help and they were there to make sure I got it and I am now till this daily completely sober and clean

It's J lol 😆 This place was amazing for me. It helped me to completely turn my life around. While in there I became a community leader and was able to help as well. Which in turns helped me even more. The program is… amazing here if you work it. I would definitely recommend coming here. You have a regular schedule that's consistent. The food here is good. They will also work with you long as your doing what your suppose too. People will come in here and tell you it's the worst but 9 times out of 10 they aren't serious about there recovery. The staff was amazing along with the nurses. I was glad to walk away with completion of the program here but I will miss everyone. This places changed my life and I am happy I did go to dream life. If you have problems go here work the program and get yourself help. 5 out of 5 from me

This facility helped my loved one recover after struggling with alcoholism for many years. It's been such a blessing to both their life, as well as the rest of our family. The change and impact Dreamlife has had on them… has been so positive. They're like a different person to be around. So far they have 8 months sobriety under their belt and continue to make such positive changes to their life. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone in need of an alcohol or drug recovery program looking to make a positive change.

Employees were nice. Curtis Rodgers, the liaison is an absolute monster of a human. Threatened to put kids in the system with his reporter license he should be behind bars but he everyone else was cool. Some of the… techs are creepy. Lying cheating stealing. Making up their own rules. The other liaison Justin Patton is doing good but Curtis should be fired (non negotiable) I will be contacting my lawyer ASAP

WARNING DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE If you don't know the documentary "The Program" this place might as well be that. Just see that before making the decision to put a loved one in to get care. These must be all fake… reviews. I am my sisters emergency contact and they did not contact me with decision making. Not once did they call me. They threated her and they physically locked her in a room by herself for talking to other patience or any social interaction she had. A chair was thrown at her and no one did anything about it. They laughed and told her she will never come out and graduate the program. They made her take medication that she did not need to take and she was so drugged up. My sister is a normal person who struggles with alcohol. She is just really kind and corky so to hear all of this stuff is beyond me and this is abuse. After they found out she didn't have insurance I am sure that is the only reason why they let her go. I cant believe this facility is open. Now my sister is traumatized and will be taking the next steps report them. I will be legal action. Please take your family member to an AA meeting because facilities are evil minded.

If I could give zero stars I would. The facility kept me so medicated (not on medication I arrived with) that I have very little recollection of my stay. The head nurse made inaccurate statements about my intention to… end my life, which landed me on a psych hold at the local hospital. The psych facility seemed to be for extremely mentally ill folks and homeless. Dreamlife further refused to give me my belongings (which included hearing aids and glasses) at the hospital. They did not return my hearing aids until the attorney at the hearing insisted they do so.

I do feel like my ten days in DreamLife helped me and shaped my recovery, but not do to them. While I understand detox is necessary I expressed not wanting to be medicated. Of course I was. There then was the being… forced to attend meetings, not one a day or week but hours that you had no choice of. I was goodbye meeting for people I never met. I learned sitting in meetings listening to prayers or people ramble on about razors insisting on touching me was not for me. After 10 days I had a panic attack. I just needed to call my husband. Of course they wouldn’t let me. Unbeknownst to me my husband called that day sensing an issue. They told him I’d call tomorrow. Odd because I didn’t know I’d be allowed a phone call until lunch the next day. I feel if they had just said it’s ok your husband called we will let you call tomorrow. I would have been ok, but they don’t really let you know your family cares. And no offense but knowing people love you is a big part of recovery. Anyway they did let me use my cell phone to pay bills and do taxes, they left all my credit cards and Id with phone. So I took what I could and left. Curtis was rude and uncaring about anything except I had a cell around others. I don’t recommend for a first time rehab attendee.

Decent program if you want to spend 40 days.. if you want to come in for detox only, they will agree. When it’s time for you to leave, Curtis Rodger’s will call your emergency contacts and manipulate them into thinking… you’re a bad person. He will tell them you are a horrible addict/alcoholic. He will lie and tell them you are causing problems in the facility, you’re sick and need help and doing “Detox only” will only hinder your progress and is against his “clinical advice”. Mind you, he is not a doctor or part of medical staff. His job is to purely manipulate families into “understanding” addiction. While they hold you hostage from making phone calls and your personal belongings. Leaving against medical advice is impossible at this facility. They told me all I can do is walk out of the door, hitchhike home and come back for my stuff in 3 days. That’s exactly what I did and will never put myself in a dangerous, unethical place like this again. Listen to the bad reviews. They’re right.

Hello! I went to Dreamlife multiple times and was treated absolutely horribly! All of the staff is in relations with each other and talk about clients to other clients. I was kept for over 45 days over Thanksgiving,… Christmas, and New years. Justyn Patton, he oversees everyone literally targeted me when I was there. He told clients I was doing drugs I wasn't doing and threatened to keep them there longer for speaking to or being friends with me. The guys would get to go out golfing and leave the facility for haircuts etc but the females weren't given any of the opportunities that the males were. Some of the guys actually had their cellphones and when I had left would SNAP ME PHOTOS from their rooms, phones weren't allowed for anyone and were forbidden but somehow they had them. My completion certificate was kept from me due to stuff I had wrote in my notebook that Justyn stole out of my belongings and read and eventually decided to KEEP FROM ME and refused to give my notebook back that had personal information and claimed I couldn't have it back because I had other clients phone numbers in there and that "wasn't allowed" meanwhile everyone keeps in contact and rules were only made up when needed and broke for certain people. People have been kept there for 150+ days and if you read the reviews online all the same things are being said. The staff is in and out and they go through people like clockwork because of how horrible managed and ran the rehab is. The rehab is a private rehab and only accepts private insurance meaning they get paid a lot and they will also hold you there against your will. If you try and leave they will keep your stuff and not give it back many people have had to call the police to get their stuff back. I've been to many rehabs and have never ever ever been "kept" at this one and I only wanted to leave because of how horrible I was being treated and was also being accused of having relations with people there just because I spoke to them. They really love that insurance money, read the google reviews. Lots of talk about how they milk your insurance and how insane it is. I've been there multiple times my first time they locked me in the kitchen in detox because my mother happened to show up to bring me stuff and I explained what was going on meanwhile Justyn and another liaison lied to her about what I went through there and tried for hours to convince her to not take me with her and technically if you have a ride already which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE they usually will give you your stuff if you already have someone to pick you up but still get the liaisons to talk you out of it and lie to your family about what's really going on. They'll claim you're trying to hurt or kill yourself among other insane things just to make your family think you absolutely have to be there and most of the time it has nothing to do w the addiction aspect they will lie about the most asinine things to keep you there. They forced me to do vivitrol in order to be released and finally put me on sublocade because that was the only thing that ever worked for me. My friends were entirely turned against me in fear of management. Apparently they didn't like how personable and outgoing I happened to be. A girl literally got killed on the freeway trying to leave this place. The literal person who runs that rehab telling my own friends lies and threatening them and staff literally crying leaving and quitting because of management . I still keep in contact with multiple nurses and BHT's that helped me through my stay and all of them have the same complaints about Justyn and management. Stories of how horrible they were treated and so on. They also use animals to get people there. Would get blamed for others misbehaviors. Thankfully my last time there traumatized me enough I got clean and have been clean off fentanyl for a year now but I still often think of the experiences I went through there. How badly I was spoken to and treated by the management, liaisons, and Justyn.

Was the worse experience of my life I wish I researched this prior to coming since they take pets, I don’t even want to give 1 star I would love to give negatives!!! Hey I am trying to put my experience I just went… through in this nightmare of going to this dream life recovery center voluntarily and decided last Wednesday March 25th this place was not for me, the next day I woke up still in the same mind, I was allowed to use my phone to pay my bill in a locked room, as soon as my phone turned on I saw that my mom had a stroke 2 days prior and was in the hospital, after than I called my friend Kristen the only person that was on my ROI that I had signed to get me she was ready to leave immediately and asked how long I didn’t know I left my phone in the locked room and said I wanted to leave, in the time before being able to call her back one of the leaders there Curtis Rodger’s had called her and convinced her not to pick me up my mom had an at home nurse 24/7 which wasn’t the case at all, they said I could walk out the door but not allowed my personal belongings for 72 hours like how my supposed to get help there are no pay phones, I had walked to the Sheetz by there to ask for a phone not knowing that the workers at Sheetz are told if anyone comes in to ask to use the phone tell them no & they immediately call this rehab place to have them come and get you thinking they are helping letting you use the phone while anyone of release is being manipulated into believing this is what is best for me, my friend Kristen had given Curtis Rodger’s my moms phone number which he had talked with my mother not being on my ROI breached my HIPPA right there, literally stuck in the place since I had my cat with me until Tues March 31st when I was allowed to use a phone again to call Kristen again she did not answer left her a detailed message had already sent her 3 letters stating this place was bad and would not let me leave, Curtis Rodger’s had called her that morning telling her not to answer her phone, after waiting a few more hours and didn’t see her showing up I heard if you escape and go to the days inn and call 911 they will help, nicest deputy lady picked me up with made this all better since I’d feels more of a men’s facility guys are allowed on their phones computers and iPads when girls aren’t allowed to shave, she came in with me and I got my stuff back, worst experience of my life volunteered to check myself in and not allowed to leave with my personal belongings for another 72 hours is what Justin said the other head man there! The police woman told me to leave them a bad review since this happens at “least” once a week, I said I will and I’m doing more than that I want to be heard this is a bad place and I hope no one ever experiences this anymore, I went to get help being overwhelmed with life to leave there traumatized and I’m not sure this is able to be fixed. I hope you read all of this and I want to contact every news I can contacted HIPPA violations already I’m just thankful that I saved myself! Please help and save anyone from doing what I did making the worst decision of my life!!!

BEST place my son has ever been to out of the past 4 years since starting on his journey. Every worker has gone above and beyond what I have expected. They picked him up and have helped us with family recovery more than… any place he has ever been too . Curtis really works with the family in the weekly calls and helps both our son and us. They are consistent and give rewards for positive behavior and consequences for negative behavior. This is huge in changing our son's bad thinking from years of doing so many things wrong. We are so happy he is there and know this time will be different.

We used Dreamlife in 2023. Didn't have much of a problem with them then, our family member went willingly, except for an incident at the end of the treatment where our family member got into a conflict with a new… patient. He completed his treatment and was discharged a few days early due to that. We didn't hear from Dreamlife after that. No checking in on the patient after the fact like other rehabs do, but their billing team had no problem reaching us for any balance. The billing team is very nice though, Recently we had to reach out again and go through the intervention process. What a traumatic and awful experience. Curtis is manipulative, condescending, and unwilling to help families in coordination with the pre intervention meetings with the family involved. I reached out to Dreamlife because they knew my family member's history, and we wanted to go back to continue where he left off and dig a little deeper to help him with his problem. Curtis had no empathy or willingness to understand and be flexible with scheduling an hour virtual meeting at 5pm, when all the family members could partake. It had to be at 2pm or nothing. He wanted 8 people to move around their work schedules and child care schedules to accommodate HIM instead of making it work for the family. I did get frustrated with Curtis and asked if he wasn't available if anyone else can do this and he said NO. I called Dreamlife to see what else can be done as we were trying to get this intervention done ASAP. I was sent to Geoff. He completely judged me, berated me, told me I was a control freak, an enabler, that I was standing in the way, this was a life or death situation, and very intrusive with questions like if I was sleeping in the same bed as my family member we were trying to get help for. Me asking to move a meeting with them to 3 hours later, made me out to be the biggest problem. He was atrocious, disrespectful, DISGUSTING, traumatic which I was crying and shaking having this conversation trying to keep this intervention scheduled while trying to keep this from the person we were trying to get in who was in the house with me at the time of this call, and Geoff knew he was home and didn't care about me, who has been through hell already. And then at the end, he gaslighted me that I was a toughy but strong and that this intervention was for me. It was sick. PULL THE RECORDED CALL! That night I called a different rehab, well known with better reviews and who treated me a hell of a lot better, and wanted to help and was appalled at how Dreamlife treated me. The next day I had a call with Curtis, I cut him off and told him that we were not moving forward with Dreamlife. He then tried to manipulate me by telling me that I told him I couldn't do the meeting at 2pm and I made it happen. I didn't have a safe place at work to make the call, so I did one real fast with him to decline their services. He tried to convince me that this was a life or death situation that I am standing in the way. No Curtis. YOU and GEOFF stood in the way by not helping the family members out. He then told me" When you are done getting hurt" How dare you! Told him we were not using Dreamlife and to refund our money. YES THEY CHARGE $5000 when we talked them down to $4000 for an intervention when you use your insurance. They tried to bullshit me saying that other places charge 15k for an intervention. I told them that's a lie. They try to manipulate you to use their rehab. I told Curtis to refund our money and I was DONE with DREAMLIFE. We did our intervention with no problems the next week with the other rehab. We were treated with respect, understanding and empathy. They did our 5pm meeting and everyone was able to attend. They were professional and I felt safe with them. FREE INTERVENTION! NO FEES! And they are well known in NJ and very reputable. To the CEO's at Dreamlife, I encourage you to look into your employees and what they are doing. Curtis and Geoff should be FIRED!

My family member has been in treatment there for a few weeks. In that time they have had to eat their meals in their winter coat and have asked for gloves. Office says they're doing something about it but last I… checked, it doesn't take weeks to get someone in to fix a heating issue. This is a state facility. State regulations are that an institution must remain at 65° in all areas. Especially those where clients frequent. Currently working out who to report this to so the facility will have a nice surprise visit from a state inspector. This is appalling to treat human beings with such cruelty. How are we to feel safe to send our loved ones to a place where their basic needs are not being met? Shameful behavior.

I had a great experience with all the staff when I got there for treatment,i was in a state of desperation to turn myself into the person my Family knew.my years of active addiction were rooted into my soul.from years… of unhealthy decisions, however the treatment that was offered by dreamlife was just what i needed to turn my life over to the care of God. as i went through all of my character defects, My therapist chuck would help me work through all of my chemical issues, and that was just the start of many other issues we worked on. Having alot of childhood negative issues was something that we had to work on,and that was just what we did with patience, and love.im coming up on Many months of clean time, and im grateful for treatment on the Mountain.i was seriously ready to take all the suggestions and guidance from staff, only after I surrendered to my addiction.just one day at a time.

I was is this inpatient facility over Christmas a couple years ago… it was… better compared to most inpatients.. they address issues very well going on in the facility but when it comes to leaving early.. it’s a no go… unless you walk to sheetz and make a phone call. They do allow vaping and stuff but overall. It’s a decent facility and pet friendly I took my dog while I was there
