Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center – Scranton Detox and Rehab Services

Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center – Scranton appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Shameful excuse for a treatment clinic. They do not care at all, we may as well be cattle getting pushed through as fast and as effortless as possible. They treat patients like we are less than human. There are a few… nurses who actually care but even they are tied down by the bureaucracy......

Embarrassing excuse for a medical facility. They constantly change their hours. Every week it’s something different. They never update the hours on google. They just leave a note on the door. Embarrassing shameful and… very unprofessional. They might as well lock the doors permanently and move on to other professions

Staff is professional and friendly, and seem to want to help us in our recovery. I wouldn’t be in the place I’m in today without them, so thank you to all employees who have helped me along the way

It’s pretty messed up when you have questions/concerns about the medication they give you, so you call and ask for the doctor to get back to you and you’re told, “yeah we don’t do that, you will have to come in to see… the dr.”

I have to say at first and even when I left I was complaining lol how much I didn’t like it there this and that but I have to say … since I have switched clinics and am somewhere else… I realized how much I did like it… there and how much I actually dislike it where I am. I would much rather come back to you guys !! I regret it so very much right now ! Hope everyone is well and I miss some of you guys !!

I've been at this clinic for about 3 years now & I have not one bad thing to say. Everybody there has been super nice to me and has cared for me everytime. In the beginning of the program I found out I had a brain tumor… I was dieing from and wheelchair bound, all of the staff esp the nursing staff was nothing but attentive and respectful & still is. If you go there and remain open to help & work the program everybody there works with you and cares for you appropriately. I am now almost 6 years sober & alot of thanks has to do with the help from ctc staff!!! Your all amazing!

Hands down the WORST treatment center. They constantly play games, they constantly contradict themselves, they make keeping a job almost impossible, then again why wouldn’t they it’s ALL ABOUT MONEY WITH THEM if they… keep you unemployed they keep you in state insurance.

They save my life. Everyone was so polite and respectful. They made me feel like I was a person. (not just some drug addict loser) I walked into that office at my most lowest point and left the program stronger and drug… free!!!! Thank you to all the staff for being there for me when I had no where to turn. I will never forget you.

The place is good other than constantly being late to work and having to wait between 11-230 to get meds. I feel like they should give take homes sooner if they won’t be open all day, for the willing and working who… literally lose their jobs for being late even though they come an hour early. Even with new hires passing meds its double the time to wait it’s literally horrendous… other than that it’s decent it makes it hard to live a normal life though!

In my experience, they do not treat people with disabilities with any concern or compassion. They ignored a woman having a seizure and took advantage of her post-ictal psychosis. They never called an ambulance and… forced her to fend for herself.

Since about 7 months ago, Summer of 2022. This facility has taken a nose dive. Sad because it used to be a place of recovery. A safe haven. I've been there since it opened around 2013. Now it's a place I dread. It is so… sad. Finding new support. Love the nurses though. Marybeth is the best!!!

Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center really changed my life. I was a mess 5 years ago. Today I came SO far.. the staff really takes the time out to make sure every patient is doing good. The Nurses are some of the… nicest people I ever met in my life. The Director of this facility also is one of the most caring people. Kim the head of the Nursing department has one of the nicest souls pure compassion and everything you would need in recovery from all of the individuals I mentioned. I couldn’t do it without you guys! Thank you for everything and I appreciate all of you more than you know

I’ve been receiving treatment at Dunmore comprehensive treatment Center for two years now before that I struggled for many years with my addiction however since I’ve been attending this program I’ve been doing great.… The best part is the therapy and counseling. I’ve been blessed to have a great therapist . Her knowledge and her compassion helped me-help myself. If you are considering this program and your serious about your sobriety then this program will guide you to take the necessary steps. Last but not least the nurses there are all pleasant to interact with on a daily basis. I rate Dunmore comprehensive treatment center 5 stars.
