The DMP not only helped us pay off our debt but saved us a lot of stress in many areas of our life. It saved us from many spats, not only about money but about other useless, stupid things that were fed by that stress.… We had one bill to pay and knew what that payment was each month. We paid extra if we could. We were more organized. If we could not find the answer on the Family Means website, the staff was readily available or called us back in a timely manner. We always had resources online or by email or phone. We saved lots money on interest. It took us so much less time to pay off our debt than it would have otherwise. We could track our progress. We didn't very often though because we liked the surprise of waiting a while and seeing the lower that we thought balance. There are so many other reasons this program is a winner. I would recommend it to anyone looking to pay off a lot of debt.They'll vary from case to case, but if it is followed you will be the ultimate winner. I don't even want to think about where we'd be if it weren't for this program.

All of these debt consolidation companies are hit and miss and you are never too sure which are legit. When we found Family Means, it was a relief to know they were legit, invested and worked for you to help with our… goals. In a time where we needed a little support, they helped and we are now completely out of all debt 2 years later

Carmen gave me options I didn't know I had, was warm and engaging and very empathetic. She made me feel optimistic and valued, not ashamed. It's still Early to tell but I feel like it's a no brainer- i’d have been… paying 2k for the next 58 years. Now it's closer to a minimum of 24 months if I pay it down correctly.

Fantastic place if you are looking for some help with life issues....therapists are amazing and so are the folks at the front desk. Would go anywhere else!!!!

Quality services. I wont go into outstanding debt again but they were helpful and kind.

We continue to talk with our social worker Sarah, and stay in contact with our Alzheimer’s and aging case workers. Family Means has helped us navigate through a tough diagnosis giving us the education and tools to make… decisions systematically. The weekly classes were amazing. We have also attended a class on Veteran’s benefits that was so informative. We love Family Means and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Very welcoming place! I have had my therapist off and on for around 2 years now and truly is someone who has taken the time to know me for who I am, and has helped tremendously.

Their billing department is beyond sketchy! I realized they were charging me different copays when I did telehealth vs in-person. When I brought it to their attention I couldn't get them to return my phone calls but the… issue somehow suddenly resolved itself. When I finally did get to talk to someone they had zero explanation. Of all the places to give me anxiety. Ultimately it caused issues with my therapist and I couldn't trust the place anymore so I quit therapy.

Tried to set up an Intake appointment and straight up got ghosted after rescheduling twice.

The financial counseling and advice I got from this local not-profit changed my life. They validated my experience which moved me through paralysis onto acceptance and then to action. Their support allowed me to zero… out years of debt and go on to 180 my credit score. Now I have a healthy savings and I have started investing. Reach out, get the support you need to thrive.

Been going to see Tyler for a year now and it's been life changing. He's not your typical "tell me how did that make you feel" kind of therapist. He is thorough, remembers details of me and who I am and tailors my… therapy based on me, not textbooks. I also appreciate his approach on not having a preconceived notion on how things SHOULD be and works with me in a way that is the absolute most beneficial based on MY needs. He meets me where I am and goes from there- He reiterates that it's my journey, not his, so I feel that he is really invested in me and my well being and puts a lot of effort into my treatment.

Met with Eli Snyder for a financial counseling session. He was extremely personable and helpful and on my level. Finances are very personal and when you are not doing as well it can be somewhat shameful. But Eli and… family means made it easy and kind process. I feel hope about the big picture, even though it will take a lot of work to get to where I want to be. They do these sessions free of charge as well. which is so great, and they are just great to work with as a whole. People who care!

If I could give it zero stars I would have. Back when I had a shoe string budget...these people had unrealistic expectations of money management they were not economy experts that's for sure...glad I didnt attempt… speaking that foo foo clown place again .
