Entry into the facility was easy and welcoming. The medical doctors, nurses, techs, and other staff are very watchful to make sure you are on your best path to detox. At no point did I feel they were overbearing, nor… was I under cared for. The detox process was very well administered and at the end of the care they were so helpful in discussing my options for post care. If you are looking for or looking to send your child for detox care I highly suggest. Food, bathing facilities, and private rooms were all very high quality.

My experience at Gallus was better than I could ever have imagined and truly life changing / saving. I felt genuinely cared for by a highly professional staff. I was pretty sick going in and terrified of how difficult… detox might be, their approach to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible honestly made it feel quite easy. The staff is consistently monitoring your comfort and symptoms and makes adjustments as needed along the way. The therapists and medical staff treated me like a person vs a number or billing opportunity, which so many in this industry don’t. Additionally, the facility is extremely comfortable. A well stocked kitchen with tons of drinks and snacks, comfortable places to relax, and plenty of options for entertainment (games, movies, books, puzzles, etc). Cannot recommend Gallus enough for those that need the best care possible in a really difficult situation.

My dad recently completed treatment at Gallus Detox Center, and our family couldn’t be more grateful for the care he received. From the moment he arrived, the staff treated him with kindness, respect, and genuine… compassion. They made a difficult time much easier by providing a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. A special thank you to Christian, the Clinical Director, whose leadership and dedication to patient care are evident throughout the facility. Diana, the Director of Nursing, was incredibly compassionate and ensured my dad received exceptional care. Stormy, the Office Manager, was always welcoming, organized, and helpful, making the entire process seamless. I also want to recognize Ramil, who went above and beyond as a tech. His encouragement, positive attitude, and genuine care made a lasting impact on my dad’s experience. And thank you to Izzy, RN, for providing outstanding nursing care with professionalism, patience, and compassion. The entire team works together to create an environment where patients feel valued, supported, and respected. Our family is incredibly thankful for everything they did for my dad. If you’re looking for a detox center that truly cares about its patients, I highly recommend Gallus Detox Center. Thank you all for the amazing work you do!

Gallus uses the latest protocols lead by research… with successful testimonies to back it. Safe and secure environment. I could write a novel about how amazing my experience was at Gallus but instead I will provide the cliffnotes. I have been drinking every day (a lot) for the past 25 years. I finally hit rock bottom and knew it was time… to stop getting my ass kicked by alcohol and fight back. My nephew went to Healing Pines for rehab and I decided to do the same even though I live in NC. My support system did comprehensive research on the best place to detox in the vicinity before going to rehab and found this place. I checked in for a 7 day rehab with extreme anxiety and apprehensiveness but within the first few hours of being there I felt so welcomed and knew this was the right place to be. The next 7 days will always be a week I will never forget and one of the best of my life. Gallus only cares for a maximum of 7 individuals at a time and during my visit the most patients there were 3 so the care you get is constant and they will provide you anything you need to heal before moving on to rehab. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable and truly care about the well being of their patients. I became close friends with them all and will always be grateful for how they helped me to move on with the next and best phase of my life. Prior to my visit I had dozens of hours of therapy, none of which helped. I can unequivocally say I was given over $3K worth of effective therapy in the short time I was there. When I left it was bittersweet and I cried half way to rehab knowing I will not see the staff again, whom I consider some of my new closest friends. Obviously I highly recommend this place and guarantee you won't find somewhere better. Thank you to everyone at Gallus for giving me another chance in life.

Gallus detox is absolutely amazing and they do everything they can to keep you comfortable through your stay I highly recommend this place if you're in the need of detox

I cannot believe it took me so long to leave a review for this wonderful establishment. Thank you Gallus, from the bottom of my heart. I was admitted July 3, 2023, and I have remained clean since, as I approach 26… months clean and sober. Your suggestions for me to follow in after care were spot on, and it helped me to regain my life. I cannot thank this facility enough for the attention, care, and heart felt advice to help turn my life around! Eve and Stephanie were absolutely amazing, and Tess, though we didn't know each other as well, my sincere gratitute goes out to you all. Thank you Gallus for the oppotunity to thrieve once again. Without you, this journey wouldn't have started, and you saved my life!!!!!

Absolutely blown away by this facility. Detoxing IS intimidating! I was not ready for what I was walking into, in a good way! The staff is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I felt welcomed, never judged, cared for and about! The staff… was AMAZING... (in the order of appearance because I loved them all so much!) Wanda, Darian, Tess, Sadie, Paige, Shante, Frances & Kiki!! LOVE THEM! They made sure I had everything I needed to come down comfortably! The pictures of the rooms, that's what you get! A queen sized bed with a TV in your private room. Beds are comfy and the great lighting for whatever mood you're in! The entire facility is clean, really clean! The staff here really takes pride in what they do! The food, was amazing! They order in Door Dash for lunch and dinner from good places! Plus, they have things to eat in the kitchen as well as coffee, hot tea, Gold Peak teas, Gatorade, and way more! Fruits, toast, bagels! I could go on! I appreciated that they kept everything stocked. While there, they also helped me to line up what my next steps were, provided me resources on places/providers/therapists that were in network for me. I didn't expect that, but really appreciate not having to leave without a plan! Thank you lovely therapist Ali for all your hard work on that! I can't forget Dr. Welcher, she clearly knows what she's doing and how to handle this process! To barely feel any symptoms is unheard of! This is the way to go! No reason to be scared anymore! One more shout out to the staff! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of them! I've been going through it pretty bad (like most people), but they were so kind, compassionate, attentive and truly have the biggest hearts! They also were fun to be around which made the time there so much easier! Thank you so much!!! I'm gonna send a card when I'm a year clean and enjoying life! Not sure I need to say this, but I 10/10 recommend this place!

Amazing staff! Such compassion and knowledge, really treating the whole human. Patients are not left to suffer through their detox, whether it is alcohol, fentanyl, benzodiazepines, or even Kratom; Gallus staff work to… help patients detox as comfortably and safely as possible, while laying the ground work for needed follow up to address addiction for the long term. While the facility is small, it is comfortable and safe. Great team, really here to see people not just detox, but overcome and thrive.

The Gallus admission’s staff was very helpful getting our son admitted since he was having second thoughts. Annie, Matty and the entire staff was very professional, kind and caring. I sat in on an exit interview with… Annie which has made a profound positive difference in our son’s live of 67 days to date of sobriety! I would highly recommend Gallus.

This is the second place my mom has been to and im very thankful for their help and support! She’s doing very well now with a few months clean feeling better than ever!!
