Gateway Foundation – Harvey Reviews and Ratings
Patient reviews of Gateway Foundation cover ground that official records leave out, from the admissions call to aftercare planning. Read them in this section alongside reviews gathered from around the web.
It started off great but then the addicts was being addicts using their drug of choice arguing and fighting and if you have a medical problem and need assistance they kick you out the program and take all your belongings
I wasn't. There long enough to find out,,mail was kept from me,a federal offense, several items were stolen, most of the staff were very help full, the social worker Mr M, must ,have come from a cracker jack box,He… refused to call me a Uber ride, he just laughed when I asked him,he should be flipin hamburgers,he also refused to help me get the items that they did not pack,Tim was very helpful .Mr Chandler was very caring..I wish the situation was different, im sure Mr Chandler is aware of Mansfield's behavior...sorry m you get no credit from me...$__++()), Nutter. And the bed bugs.
Recovery.
My boyfriend went there said they had bed bugs they use all the clients food stamps to barely buy any groceries show favoritism to sergeant clients had rats in a few apartments horrible program
Gateway saved my life I've been here for a couple of months and I never thought my life would change this drastically for the better thank you gateway David Q
If you're serious about going straight this is the program for you. I've been out a year now and by the grace of God I'm still clean. Thanks for everything Gateway staff.
Six or Seven years have passed since I was part of this program and the seeds planted have blossomed and bloomed, while producing fruits year round in my life. It can be said that addiction was my affliction but what I… learned through the meetings and morning meditations was that affliction was an affliction of mind with drugs being a byproduct of a much larger and far more dangerous situation than I could have imagined at that time. I feel as though a key was fashioned in the Gateway Program. A key which I could use to set myself free. And to this very day, I enjoy the blessings and rewards which line this very path of complete freedom. To all the counselors, drivers, Darryl Chandler and Rob. Thank you. You will never be forgotten.
A case of the blind trying to lead the blind. Former drug or alcoholics who mistakenly think they are counselors. These people feel they are entitled to a share of any compensation you win from Social Security or VA… compensation, problem with that is they don't feel they should help you get it. A case of the Little Red Hen fable, nor do these people provide any real or helpful counseling. The good things Gateway does provide is housing, food, and transportation to and from the VA.
They only care about the money. They have a revolving door. They do not prepare u or help u once u complete the program. They send u back on the street with nothing , not even a roof over your head.
Gateway saved my life back in 2012 and I've had a fantastic life since. The councelors and staff are making real changes possible. Thanks again guys.
Real production
I am finding out that there is a new way to live without the usage of drugs. To deal with my problems on a daily basis.
This is one of the best rehabs in Louisiana
Environment is design to help sddicts/alcoholics recover from a hopelessness lifestyle to living a life based on spiritual principles...all that's required is a WILLINGNESS to change
It works and the staff is pretty good and it work with you as long as you want to do it help you I just love it
Saved my life! Keep coming back!
I've lived in Afghanistan and honestly gateway is more of a dump than Afghanistan. Gateway is the trashiest place I've ever lived in and plus the bed bugs are literally in every house and gayeway has no contract for bed… bugs so they just let them continue to feed on the clients
U can just be yourself and be accepted.
Gateway is a life saver!!
very nice very fortunate
