Horrible customer management! I had scheduled an appointment over the phone in November, and when I showed up was told the counselor I was supposed to see did not show up that day and I would have to reschedule. Now, on… the morning of my rescheduled appointment (1 hr. 20 mins. before) I receive a call saying my appointment needs to be rescheduled AGAIN and was not properly entered into their calendar. It’s likely I only received this voicemail because I called the night before to confirm my appointment. When I called back, they were able to get me in for a Telehealth visit as soon as the next day with their Bloomsburg office. I can only hope that location has better calendar management skills. I could have waited for an in-person appointment, but I do not trust the Williamsport office at this time to honor and respect my time. I am overall upset with my experience with Genesis House, and this less-than-ideal solution of doing an initial assessment over the phone.
