Hamilton County CBOC – Hamilton Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at Hamilton County CBOC – Hamilton is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Hamilton County CBOC – Hamilton Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 7215 Gateway Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011. Butler County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Ok
From our interactions you can tell the workers love their jobs and the new building. I have no complaints and only complements, very professional and efficient
DO NOT use this facility if you want ANYTHING close to prompt attention to your health care. After a few years waiting and hoping it will get better I am going back to Cincinnati VA. The 1.5 hour drive is less… aggravating. They will send you to Cincy anyway if more than vitals and blood draw. Waiting 3 MONTHS for a frigging appointment? And not a random occurrence. EVERY TIME! Their answer? Oh go to the ER. If I could rate no stars I would. About 80% of the personal are good people though.
New building is absolutely AWESOME.
Tom, one of the office people in charge prevented myself and other veterans medical treatment because we wouldn't wear a face shield during Covid which as somebody who trained in biological warfare understands that was… not a scientific order rather a political order.
I'm over the VA. My father is a decorated Vet and gets treated like crap. They promise the world and nothing happens. He's about to be 80 and has faith in the VA but I do not. They cannot even get his ride schedule set… up, they promised him transportation and nothing. They do not follow up. A man shouldn't live his last years in pain with a physician and a team. It's disgraceful. This office is useless
Very professional and excellent service for the veterans.
Never been disappoited yet

I was please with the configuration of the reception area I got checked in quick I was very impressed with nurse Julie and Dr Markus
This morning ( April 26th) I had a 10 am Audiology appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early. Parking was abundant and location super easy to find. Receptionist checked me in immediately and I only had a 5 minute wait… until I was called back. Megan (Audiologist) was very pleasant and found issue with my hearing aid immediately and I was back in my car at 10:15. Service was excellent from beginning to end. I typically do not use VA much because I have good private insurance. I was extremely pleased with my visit today.
Update Nov 2021: Still do not answer phones for patient care. Worst VA facility in the region. The exact reason you should never have government health care! On time for my appointment for a blood draw, they were 40… minutes late getting be into the appointment. Once back in the lab I was told they did not have the test tube to do the test and that I need to drive to Cincinnati to get the test done. This is why veterans are in crisis!!
I had fasting labs today. Apparently my blood sugar got so low I almost passed out and was having some issues. Everyone was so helpful and awesome. Thank you all so much! Without your help I'm sure it would have been a… lot worse.
Good luck getting someone on the phone
Nice to have a clinic close by.
you never answer your phones, this is ridiculous.
All Arab doctors at this Hamilton VA clinic with very little regard for veterans. If you want better treatment, just go to the Cincinnati VAMC. Everyone at the Cincinnati VA is very friendly and the doctors there really… care.
I'm a Veteran and have been going here for 20 years, The care I've received has been awesome, They even saved my life thanks.
