They let my son information out to another worker about what him and his counselor talked about
I am very appreciative of all the things that HSS does for their people in town. Thank you for providing a much-needed service.
Grateful but will never ever deal with them again. They are far too concerned with their grants and updating their building and spending their money on themselves than to care about actual people. Made my life far worse… than it was before i started with them. Edit: The grant money was used to tear out concrete stairs, then rebuild the same exact stairs when nothing was wrong with the prior accommodations. Seeing the response and being told they are just trying to update the housing to help their clients is just ludacris. Large boulders and landscaping rocks are the solution to everyones problems I guess. Our thermostat was replaced so that they could control where we set it on OUR homes. The AC units were so outdated that it got insanely hot inside and my children would break out in heat rashes and I was told there was nothing they could do to cool our apartment off. Everytime that i was texted by anyone or asked a question, my insurance was charged. I was offered services to help me obtain employment and it was literally someone logging into MY indeed account and filling out job applications. I am now living my best life :)
Horrible. Absolutely trash service. Im in complete shock that the nurse is even able to work with mental health patients. They lied about charges and then the nurse yelled at me for it. She had me in tears from the lack… of compassion or care. I have spoken with the appropriate people. No one has called back. So now I will be reporting this facility to the state. BBB will be contacted to file a formal complaint. As far as the nurse the moment I get her medical id or name shes being reported as well. Do better for people who need therapy. But the worst was the lying about testing not costing when I have a massive bill in front of me with no options. They knew I wasn't able to work currently and I asked Cari 3 times if this test would cost. She directly said no each time. Funny because I have the bill sitting right here. Im not even upset for me anymore im so upset that that nurse is able to "care" for people. She was disgusting towards me.
If I could give 1/2 a star I would.
So disappointed in the effort and lack of concern.
Couldn’t have asked for a better support system when my boys were going thru a very hard time. My kids loved going and talking to someone who could help them voice their feelings on what was going on at the time. They… communicated with me and made sure I felt at ease with what was going on with them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience when it was such a difficult time in our lives.
TY again Gen (apologies for spelling). For creating a safe space via phone frfr🥰 just know you have already helped so much with how big and beautiful the aura of your heart is🫶🏽💛🫶🏽🧡🫶🏽💚🫶🏽💜🫶🏽
couldn't even get an appointment in. called once and was told that in order to make an appointment as a new patient I had to be redirected to a different line of theirs at a certain time and was told I'd be called back… the next day. waited, no call. called on my own time a SECOND time and was told if they hadn't contacted me already, they'd contact me the next day.... again. guess what? i still hadn't been called back. if I need therapy it should be enough that I'm doing the work myself to try and reach out. I shouldn't have to beg for assistance when I'm already on my knees. it's been months since then and I forgot to leave a review but I'd gladly advise anyone seeking help as an outsider to look elsewhere.
Human Support Services is truly working to make a difference in people’s lives and the staff members care immensely about their clients and their success.
HSS is an amazing place. They selflessly help others in need.
Very unprofessional. So my daughter attends counseling services here. My wife and I are trying to pay the account with a Health Savings Account. My wife is the account holder on the card. She was informed that they will… only accept payment from myself or my ex wife. We were called names (agressive) to be exact. First let me ask what is aggressive about asking for dates of service as our family deductible was met for the year in January 2019. We just wanted to make sure we weren't getting billed when there should be no out of pocket expenses. Secondly what is aggressive about asking for a receipt when payment is provided ? Isn't that a normal practice of any business to provide reciept upon payment ? Lastly the billing department head Melissa told me to call in with my wife's Hsa card ( which again she is the account holder ) to make payment. That is clearly not ok that they would accept payment from a non account holders card over the phone. I believe that there may be laws against that. This place is a joke. Was told they are just trying to help. Well please show me how!!
