InterCare Community Health Network – Holland

During my last visit, after I left the exam room, I overheard the receptionists and nurses gossiping about me and discussing my career and personal information. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I… expected my privacy to be protected and respected, but because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Edit: I am looking for a new doctor’s office that takes my insurance because this place time and time again makes me wait for over an hour in the doctor’s room before the doctor arrives. I have had to cancel other plans… or meetings because I have had to wait so long. Why on earth do they schedule him so often if they know each appointment is going to overlap one another? That is completely ridiculous and unfair to the patients and their time. First post: Staff are wonderful and I feel like my doctors listen to me pretty well. However, I was scheduled for 9:40a but my appointment didn’t start until 10:40a. This happened last time I met with my doctor, too.

They are super great with my kids

They give me on time. They always respond back to my calls when I need refill of my medication

Every employee here had a smile on their face and made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in. Martha was very nice. I’ve had dental trauma, therefore I have a hard time at the dentist. Martha gave me one of the most… enjoyable dentist experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dental office and especially Dr. Andrea Ramthun. Going to the dentist has always been something that makes me extremely anxious and uncomfortable, to the point where I… used to put off appointments for as long as possible. Past experiences left me feeling rushed, unheard, and even more nervous about coming back. From the moment I met Dr. Ramthun, that completely changed. She has such an incredibly empathetic and caring bedside manner. She truly takes the time to listen, understand concerns, and explain everything in a way that feels reassuring rather than overwhelming. I never feel judged or dismissed — instead, I feel supported and genuinely cared for. Dr. Ramthun has a very calming presence that immediately puts me at ease. She checks in throughout the appointment, makes sure I’m comfortable, and goes at a pace that feels manageable. It’s clear that she understands dental anxiety and approaches her patients with compassion and patience. Because of her, what used to be a stressful, dread-filled experience has become something I can walk into with confidence. She has completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist, and that is something I’m incredibly grateful for. If you are someone who feels nervous or uncomfortable about dental visits, I highly recommend this office — and especially Dr. Andrea Ramthun. Her kindness, professionalism, and truly exceptional bedside manner make all the difference. I look forward to my appointments in the future!

They take more than an hour to attend to a patient, don't go there!!!

Writing this so maybe there raitng will go up. 2.7 is pretty low. I had a dental emergency. So I went in as a walk in. Didn't have to wait long at all though. Andrea Ramthun dds & i believe it was Madeline Jurecic rdh… did great. Were kind & informative throughout the procedure. Front desk was great too.

Absolutely the worst place to go. On one there knows how to do their job. It's a joke of an establishment.

Receptionist need to be educated on airborne illnesses and taught how to properly clean up vomit from the carpet, it should have been sprayed with a antiviral such as lysol or ozium but no instead we pull out the vacuum… and use it on wet vomit and then when we are done roll it from the vomit area all the way across the waiting area back to the storage closet putting everyone in the waiting room at risk of catching whatever illness the sick person has. Future reference carry your own disinfectant sprays if you have to use intercare or you may end up leaving with someone else's illnesses.

If I could give it zero stars, I would gladly do so. The waiting time is ridiculous; you spend 3 to 4 hours waiting to be seen, even with a scheduled appointment. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone.

My child has been seen by two different dentists here this fall and both were excellent. The dental hygienists were also kind and gentle. Today we were in the office for her first ever filling and they made it an… incredibly easy and calm experience for her. As Mom, I am so grateful for that as I myself have had extensive dental work with some pretty significant trauma thru other providers. I would absolutely recommend the dental staff here to anyone.

It went well, they answered me, and they gave me the appointment.

I could give 0 stars if I could. Whoever the receptionist is (Rachel I think) needs to take accountability for her mistake! Called this morning to make emergency appt for my 8yo nephew. We were told to come in at 4pm.… My sister requested to leave work early for this appt. First off, they didn’t even have the correct phone number on file. Therefore, we did not get a confirmation text. After arriving at 4pm, we were rudely told that our appt was at 3:30pm and that we could not be seen anymore…..she then tells us that we’d be charged $50 for a no-show. HOW!? asked for office manager and she was no help. She repeated the same thing and was no help to us. How are you going to charge me a no-show fee when your receptionist was the one who messed up!????? Your receptionist told us 4PM!!!!!!! Specifically requested to leave work early for this appt…This facility does not practice any medical ethics and do not care about their patients. They are just money hungry! DO NOT GO HERE!

The wait time is ridiculous! Plan to be there for at least 2 or 3 hours.

Needed a dental emergency was in pain for a week they helped me so fast!! the dental doc & her assistant where both amazing people!

Called in advance and was told walk in was between 1-2 today! Drive 45 minutes up here to see a dentist and was told they couldn’t see me! Do better!

Thank you to Yuri for always doing a excellent Job at her work. She has a passion for what she does for many, many years and always welcomes me with love and hugs. She is an amazing person with a beautiful heart. Thank… you Yuri 😊!

First of all the receptionist or whoever answers the phone to set up appointments is so rude, they need to find someone else. I called to ask some questions as I haven’t been to this place in awhile, tried to set an… appointment and she was so unhelpful, unpleasant and goes “uh yea you came here a year ago” ? and just hung up on me. SMH

This place has gone way downhill in the last year. When you go there, just look around and see how dirty it actually is.

The doctor treated me very well, and they gave me a photo of my 4D ultrasound. I definitely recommend them.
