Treatment Services at JACOA
The 28-day residential program pairs group and individual counseling with CBT, rational emotive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and gender-specific trauma therapy, plus AA and NA meetings and weekly family groups. A staff physician completes a physical exam in the first week, and the curriculum includes co-occurring disorders, HIV education and parenting classes.
The intensive outpatient program meets Monday through Thursday mornings across 32 sessions and covers recurrence prevention, coping skills, anger management and 12-Step work. Vivitrol injections are given alongside counseling, though medical detox is not offered at this time.
