TMS was a real game changer, energizing my mind and body, Dr. Newado s office was very accommodating and helpful with this breakthrough technology.
DR. Nwedo is a excelent doctor, he treat me with transcranial magnetic stimulation for major depression and I am doing very good.
My first appointment with Dr. Nwedo. He is a pleasant Dr. and concerning of my illness. I appreciate the time he spent with me and I felt heard about my condition and treatment plans. I recommend Dr. Nwedo for mental… health needs.
Amazing staff, everyone's super friendly and attentive. Dr. Nwedo is awesome, he will do anything he can to help you out,I highly recommend going there if your looking for any services they offer and your in the Jackson… area.
Very helpful and knowledgeable.
Great dr help me turn my life around frfr and help me recovery even when I had court he was there the whole way
I don't know how this place has so many good reviews cuz I really don't see it won't be nobody in there but it'll take them 65 years to do anything literally trying to get help with actual problems just to get told I'm… sorry get some prescriptions given to me or sit in there forever just to sit on a video call with somebody and just get prescription sent to me and told to go somewhere else I don't understand how these places can charge money for the crap that they actually do cuz it's literally nothing
I wanna make a complaint on Aaliyah. She’s very rude very disrespectful. She doesn’t know how to talk to nobody she have an attitude. I don’t go there.
I highly recommend Hopefield Healthcare Services and Dr. Nwedo. I have been going there for TMS therapy. I was really nervous to go to a new place with a new doctor, but Dr. Nwedo is literally one of the nicest doctors… I have ever met. He was always so kind and genuinely wants to HELP people. The ladies at the front desk are always very nice too. Trinity was the one who sat with me most through my therapy. She is so sweet and caring, always asking about me and making me feel like more than just another patient. I have been suffering with depression since my teens and have so many side effects with medication. I started looking into TMS as an alternative to changing meds again. The first appointment I had with Dr. Nwedo, we discussed medical and medication history. He said that he thought TMS may be able to help me and he filled out a prior authorization for my insurance. It took a couple weeks for my insurance to approve the sessions. The second appointment, Dr. Nwedo does mapping followed by a regular session, which took about 45 minutes or so. Then, the following sessions take about 20 minutes. The TMS therapy itself was a bit weird to get used to the first couple times, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It doesn't hurt at all, it feels like a pulse in your brain and lasts for maybe a couple seconds and then takes about 15 seconds break and pulses again. You have to wear a cap and earplugs. You also need to remove any metal/piercings on your head. I ended up buying plastic ones to keep me from having to remove daily. The sessions were every day Monday through Friday until after the 30th session and then they space the appointments out farther. I had a total of 36 sessions with my insurance. The hardest part of the sessions for me was sitting still for 20 minutes, which wasn't terrible. One session that I did with increased intensity from 50 to 55 did affect my TMJ disorder, but once we went back to 50 I didn't have another issue. I started noticing a difference immediately after my first appointment. I usually avoid stores and crowds because of anxiety. The same day as my first appointment, I was able to go into a big store, something that I never do. Every day after that, I noticed changes in my mood. The farther I went in my therapy, the better I felt. After 10 sessions, it started to help with some unfavorable SSRI side effects that I have been dealing with for years, yes THOSE side effects, iykyk. After 15 sessions, I started wanting to go outside again, started cooking again, started to read books again, started being able to be there more for myself and my family. The changes have been amazing. TMS compared to the best SSRI I have taken, it's like comparing apples to oranges. TMS feels like it changed my brain rather than masking symptoms the way the meds feel. It helped with my depression immensely and my anxiety some too. I would absolutely recommend TMS for anyone with depression. It will give you your life and your personality back.
I love Dr. Newedo! The staff are friendly, and attentive. The Spravoto really works! If you feel hopeless, and tried almost every medicine, come by here to get some relief. 😀

Best place to go for mental needs. They have the best staff and doctor. They have went above and beyond to help me.i absolutely am grateful for this place.
I was referred by a walk in clinic. The first visit I was prescribed something that I’m allergic to so the pharmacy wouldn’t fill it. The second visit I was told to come back for the third visit before Dr. Nwedo would… be able to give me a medicine I’m not allergic to that Walgreens would fill. The other medicine made me have short of breath. My chest hurt. I explained this to him and he gave me the same medicine again. Walgreens said not to take it if my chest hurt. I also requested that whatever medication he prescribed to make it to where I don’t have to take it every day. I only need it on the days I have school. Sometimes it’s virtual so I don’t need it every day. He lied and told me that they don’t make medicine like that. That I have to take it every day. The pharmacist explained the lie and that they do make medication I don’t have to take every day. I spoke with my professor at school and my counselor who explained doctors like this generally participate in government programs “value based care.” These programs track patient outcomes, and medication adherence can be one of the metrics. So when I was in his office crying because I don’t want to take it every day, I only need it a few days a month, he disregarded my feelings to tell me a lie that they don’t make medicine like that so he doesn’t miss his performance bonus from insurers. I called and canceled all my appointments.
Dr. Nwedo is amazing!!!! He cares deeply for all his patients. He pays particular attention my mental health 1st. You must be clear in your mind before you can ever think about long term treatment for your diagnosis.… Thanks to the girls up front yall are amazing!!! To Dr. Sylvester Nwedo you already know Doc. The entire staff is very helpful. I’m glad to have been recommended.
Seemed to be no hope until now. It's amazing to me how it helps me.
The only reason this place gets two stars is because of Dr. MarKisha. My son did a few telehealth appointments with her, and he was trying to get help with his ADD, but after a couple of medications and them not… working, she wanted us to do an in-person visit with Dr. Nwedo. That was fine. On the day of the appointment, we waited for 2 hours just to be seen, as Dr. Nwedo was triple-booked. I'm not sure why you would overbook a doctor's appointment that much, as it meant I missed most of a day at work. When we finally got to see Dr. Nwedo, he was very dismissive of my son from the start, told my son it was likely just anxiety he was having instead of ADD, even though Dr. MarKisha had already said that she thought it was ADD. Then I mentioned that we were going to Memphis soon because MarKisha had wanted us to get a full evaluation done on my son. At first, Dr. Nwedo seemed interested and asked where we were going, so I looked it up and told him. I told him that at first, MarKisha had recommended us to somewhere that had no scheduling skills, so I had asked and gotten a recommendation of somewhere else to go. Recommendation is a cuss word in this man's book because he started freaking out. So, I was told by MarKisha that the first place didn't receive referrals, you just call and tell them you want an appointment, then they might ask who told you to call, and you make the appointment, and that is what happened at that place and the second place I called. I wasn't aware that using the word referral was going to be such a bad thing, or I would have rephrased it. Dr. Nwedo made the whole appointment about this "referral" after that, saying how his office doesn't do referrals, and his staff should know that. He doesn't want to put his name out there, and then we're disappointed, and I need to listen to him. I tried to argue and say I wasn't planning on talking about the clinic when we go to Memphis, and can we please just focus on my son, but no, I didn't understand, and could I please just listen? He had a lady there helping him take notes, and she tried to insert and help simmer things down, but he wouldn't let her. Then, he had the nerve to say, after I asked if we could just discuss what medication might help my son, that he was a psychiatrist and not there just to hand out drugs. I in no way was trying to imply that, but it was my impression from my son that was why MarKisha had sent us to him, so that is why I said that. Not to mention, he has no idea all the other natural things we've tried over the years. But he wasn't listening, and I was insulted and triggered at this point, so I walked out. I'll never go back.
Jonathan O'Neal Moody ⭐ I've done my appointments via tele-health and it's made a great difference in my life. As a person with extreme anxiety, having the option to do this is great 👍!! Highly recommend
Not very helpful and in hindesight I feel like I was taken advantage of financially. Had one initial consult where I spoke of the healing and types of therapy I would like to explore to beging the healing process. I was… talked into spending $330.00 for a mouth swab test that would show what medicine could POTENTIALLY be helpful or harmful to me. At the time of initial consult I expressed a desire for holistic therapy treatments including EMDR, CBT, DBT and whatever else a professional would consider using to help heal me. I was very clear about not wanting pharmaceuticals. Probably was my first mistake. My first and only visit was in January and after waiting for over TWO MONTHS for a referral I finally called to see if any progress on finding a referral had been made. I was able to get a referral by the helpful receptionist. The professional that spoke with me and my husband in the initial consultation never got back in contact for said referral. Mental health takes a huge amount of courage to advocate and navigate by yourself. It's alarming to consider how many people never get the help they need because facilities like this simply forget about following through with patients that had the courage to seek help but are left to hang out in the wind. These are people's LIVES, not burgers and fries. Hopefully someone in charge can put the HOPE back into HOPEFEILD.
This has to be the worst care I have ever seen!! Dr Nwedo should not be practicing. I had a virtual with him and from the gate he was dismissive. The appointment was so bad I had a panic attack he told me I was being… hysterical (I have diagnosed panic disorder).... answered his cell phone during the appointment.... when i literally was begging him to help me, he just kept saying he had policy and procedures to follow and when asked he said it was for him. He kept saying i wasn't understanding but when asked for clarity he got more defensive and gaslighted me like i was the problem for wanting to understand so i could get help. Finally he says all the things i must do, which i already did misus in person. When i said i was fine coming in if thats what i needed to do, he proceeds to tell me he doesn't need my money and i am not doing him favors coming there. All i was saying is i was willing to comply to get my mental health treated. He was my only option with my insurance. He will be the reason someone gives up, if he hasn't already caused someone to.
Markeisha was amazing. 5 star treatment. I would highly recommend her. Very intelligent and knowledgeable in her field.
