LSSI Kenmore Chicago location did an excellent job with my treatment. The staff were excellent and professional across the board. Andy my councilor did a great job on working my sobriety. I am a stronger person because… of his guidance.

I would like to take this opportunity to give all the lssi employees flowers the expression I hear on ESPN . I had treatment in Elgin for 28 days and was fortunate enough to go to healthy start on Kenmore. From all the… counselors there to my arrival on Kenmore I have been treated well Megan , Ashley, josh, the counselors from IOP Bridgette , Andrew,Josh number 2 and all the others including Lindsey and Holly they care about us as clients and should be recognized for doing God's work. I am fortunate and grateful for there Help. Sincerely,James Panagakos

I have been in cleaner, crack houses, Certain counselors push, intimidating agendas . Dore II counselors office stays closed and you are not allowed to knock on it. Only in an emergency certain counselors are close… minded, but not all . Ruben should get a raise For his empathy and respect that he shows to the clients. Management needs restructuring. I do thank them for helping me in my short time there, and grateful that my experience has given me the drive to stay clean and sober in the face of adversity

It really should only one half star. I try to take a friend some clothes and items he needed and it was a Saturday no one was there at the desk no one answered any phone not even the nurses station this is unbelievable… you can't even reach anyone in in the facility.

I went here for rehab 28 day impatient program! I’m grateful for this place it really saved my life! Yes people wanna poke holes at the program , but those people really didn’t wanna be there. I completed the program,… the staff was all great from , Daryl, Rex, all the women during the day, morning meeting facilitator, the kitchen staff, H&I facilitators! I came very broken, lost , and an everyday user, I left with hope for my sober future! I’m still sober, and I go back to speak to the rehab clients to share my experiences, strength, and hope . So I’m forever grateful for this place

Bugs, rodents, and horrendously poor leadership. Do not send loved ones here.

Patient broker? I overheard one of the nurses saying "If they don't make it to the hospital, we don't get paid."

I’ve been told that this place is terrible. The nurses are easily confused and the staff is unnecessarily rude and preoccupied with their own personal needs.

Detox is medically assisted, food is decent. The 28 day program is based on the 12 steps. This place saved my life! The nurses are top notch!

Not sure what to make of this place. But good chance if they accept Medicaid it's going to be bottom-of-the-barrel treatment. Someone that almost died in the hospital during DTs alcohol detox was transferred here and 5… months later, I asked "So what part of the 12-step program are you on now?" They had NO response!! An alcohol addiction rehab center that doesn't even have their patients on the 12-step program?? Called to ask about the program, person on other end said abruptly it was confidential. Huh???

I only gave one star so that I can write this review. A person by the name of Sharon should not be working @ LSSI. She discouraged a client, my sons mother making matters worse to the point were she left detox. I just… wonder how many people she has sent back to the street or worse to their death. When a person goes & seeks help they want to make a change in life for the better & it starts with detox. So you need to hire a person who has compassion & not have a person like Sharon who's there only for a paycheck.

I had the unfortunate experience of going to the halfway house for women about 12 years ago, Thank God I took charge of my own lifeBecause they threw me out on the streets. Crack and heroin sold next door. God help… anyone who ends up here

How awful. I called, recommended through will county and the lady doing the intake couldn't hear me. She said they had no air and refused to turn her fan off. She was rude and abrasive not helpful AT ALL. When I said… aren't you there to help me? Not be angry? She hung up!!!! Hung up on someone needing help. Unbelievable. I never wish bad on someone but I hope she gets fired because clearly she's in the wrong line of work. How awful.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They need better quality of service, and employees that know what they are doing, they need more professionalism

Today was my 3rd time calling this place and I could barely get past Hello. Heres some advice...You people are suppose to be the "professionals". When you get phone calls asking questions about your facility try to… eliminate attitude, sounding condescending, unknowlegable answers and RUDENESS. I understand you deal with patients and family members all day every day. However, you are the first point of contact that could save someone's life. There's no reason people get treated better at STARBUCKS.

I've been there and it's what you make of it. You can't depend on others for your recovery. The necessary medical attention is available at lssi to give you what u need to get better. The rest is up to you.

I absolutely would not recommend this facility to anyone. If you have a partner, friend, or loved one do not have them check into this place. The staff is disrespectful and from what I experience can care less about… what you have to say or how you feel. There is apparently no way of reaching them to find out how they are doing. My girlfriend was checked into this facility and I had no way of reaching her to see how she was doing. For all I know she could be doped up on a bunch of meds that is unnecessary forcing her to take something that she does not want to. I was told that I had to call this pay phone number to reach a client whereas any clients could answer the phone. I tried calling for 10 minutes and no one answered the phone. I was then told all I could do was keep calling that same number yet no one answered. Also I never knew a rehab/detox center did not allow visitors especially if they were family. This place is a joke.
