MCCA – Derby Detox and Rehab Services

MCCA – Derby provides intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call. Confirm what a program covers before committing to it. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Anyone can ask what a typical week looks like before starting. Cost, travel and waiting time are all worth weighing together.

Ray and his team at the Derby MCAA are great. They treat you not as a patient but as family. I was nervous about starting therapy sessions but MCCA made the process feel seamless and safe. Meghan was patient, insightful… and truly listens without judgment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a supporting environment.

Sincerely grateful for Mr. Aprame, having recently experienced a male trauma that was belittled and laughed at by Jane Sadawski as if my suffering made her happy, so I reported her to the director and requested a male… therapist rather than anyone random, Mr Aprame was above and beyond helpful, 😊 Sincerely grateful 🙏

Honestly, this place is incredible and has played a huge role in my current mental and physical health. The Conflict Resolution group run by Justin was incredibly informative and open minded. I also found their Relapse… Prevention, run by Amanda, to be incredibly helpful. Plus the level of care and investment that Amanda shows running it is genuinely heartwarming and encouring. I found it helpful as it focuses on thoughts, feelings, and emotions that are the root issue of use. I’ve never had a more comfortable or accepting experience while in outpatient. Thank you for putting me on a better path, MCCA, I’m eternally grateful.

I truly appreciate the work you all do and would like to say thank you to Amanda for the level of care and understanding shown throughout the past few months as it has helped me grow as an individual.

I never imagine I’d find myself at the Derby Mcca, but I’m so glad I did. Despite my initial anxiety, I was met with an incredible level of care and understanding from everyone I encountered. From the warm smile at the… front desk to the helpful quest staff and, most importantly, my counselor, the experience exceeded all my expectations. My counselor was not only knowledgeable, but also exceptionally kind, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. She made a stressful process much easier by working around my busy schedule, going above and beyond to ensure our sessions fit into my life. The team at Mcca creates an environment where you feel supported, valued, and never judged. Their hard work and empathy make all the difference during trying times. Thank you, Mcca , for everything you do - your dedication truly changes lives.
