I want to tell anybody that may be deeply struggling with their mental health to just take that first step and schedule an appointment. For years I have struggled with anxiety that has been debilitating at times and it… has truly dictated the things that I am able to do. After a lifelong journey of doing my best to deal with it and many months of going back and forth with myself trying to figure out if going in to see a mental health professional was truly warranted, I found the Mindwell website, and I am grateful everyday that I did. The entire process from the very first phone call, the online intake, the first appointment and the follow up appointments have been nothing but seamless and professional in every way. In the first few minutes of meeting Dr. Kuran, I felt very at ease talking about my mental health with him and he listened to every word I had to say without judgement. The way he communicates is very compassionate and matter of fact and that is something that I value greatly and highly respect. For once in my life I felt heard and understood. I was started on medication and everyday that passes I am feeling like I can handle my life again compared to how I felt when I first went in which was what I’d imagine it would feel like to be standing in the vortex of a tornado. Dr. Kuran and his office staff have been incredibly supportive and patient with any questions pertaining to my treatment and have made managing my mental health feel far less scary. As someone that has just learned to deal with things…Don’t. Call this place because thus far just knowing I have the support I need during this particular period in my life is worth it’s weight in gold. Whether you need med management or an evaluation, Michael is the man for the job.He does not rush my appointments, he actively listens and is compassionate. He cares about the well being of his patients and cares enough… to follow through and takes the time to make sure my medication is effective. He is thorough, patient and kind, he has always filled out any paperwork that I’ve needed in a timely manner. I have referred a few friends and they all have had the Sam experience.

Both my mom and myself are under Michael’s care. He is by far the best I have seen. For the first time in my life I have the right diagnosis and treatment plan. Michael doesn’t rush appointments and isn’t a med pusher.… He is patient and understanding . MindWell psychiatric has changed my life. Dr. Mike took the time to listen to every single thing that I had to say gave wonderful feedback and we came up with a plan together that I was comfortable with. He’s so… knowledgeable. Any question that I had was answered right away. Mike being a fellow veteran really helped me open up and express my concerns with PTSD and anxiety related to combat and military situations. Been with Mindwell for 6 months, honestly I’ve had a really good experience here so far. Everyone has been really kind and welcoming, and the doctor is very caring and actually listens instead of making you feel rushed… or judged. I felt comfortable opening up, which is usually hard for me, so I really appreciate that. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for psychiatric care and want to feel genuinely cared about.

I’ve been under the care of Michael Kuron for the past two years, and I can confidently recommend his services. Although his practice is located far from me, it has never been an issue thanks to the convenience of… telehealth appointments after the initial visit. if i could give this place negative i would. im a minor whos been wanting a psychiatrist since i can remember. i filled out documents for 3.5 hours which took extra long because their site did not work (the submit… button did not work and made me redo my documents multiple times. one submit button worked but all nine others did not.) finally i got them filled out and my appointment was set. today i went there with my dad and there were absolutely NO signs for MindWell. not even on their door. my dad and i thought we were at the wrong place but after ten minutes michael finally came out. he told us they sent a text saying they did not accept my insurance. first of all, thats not something to send a text about and second, we didnt get a text… they turned me down at the door instead of calling or ACTUALLY texting to cancel my appointment. we told michael we didnt have one so he went back in to talk to his assistant. after another ten minutes of waiting he came back out to “show us the text.” the screenshot was a cropped photo of a text rather than with a contact/number AND a text like a normal, trustworthy screenshot. after showing him our proof that none of us had ever received it, my dad asked him why there are no signs for this place ANYWHERE and asked when they put their business there. michael said “youre getting off topic. anyways we sent you a text.” my dad tried asking him again and michael straight up said “goodbye” and walked away to go down the elevator. no resolution. i was STUNNED by how rude michael is and how sketchy this place is. also shocked by how they have a clean 5.0.

I have been a patient of Mindwell Psychiatric Services for 7 months so far, and I can say that the quality of my life has steadily improved since starting treatment 7 months ago. I spent about a year in therapy before… coming to Mindwell and greatly improved there but my therapist and I realized that certain issues (mainly adhd symptoms) needed extra help beyond therapy. After being given the run around from another psychiatrist, starting treatment at Mindwell was a breath of fresh air. Within only a day of reaching out to the office online, I was contacted about scheduling an appointment. After my first appointment, I began treatment and Michael has been very responsive anytime I have needed to switch medications or had questions (outside of our scheduled sessions). His approach to psychiatry is professional, informative, kind, and straightforward—exactly how psychiatry should be. I am very pleased as a patient.

I have been seeing Michael Kuron for the last year who I found after an extensive online search. He was the first person I was able to make an appointment within a window of 24-48 hours, after having to find a new… specialist for my meds after relocating from Los Angeles. He and his team are very responsive, accommodating, and patient-focused. Unlike many other practitioners, he was able to help me get off of a highly addictive medication by recommending and prescribing a non-addictive alternative (which I no longer need or take) and I am so grateful for. Although this office is far away from my current home, they were able to accommodate me with telehealth appts after my initial appt. Would highly recommend this office for anyone looking for affordable quality treatment and care. It is worth any initial inconvenience associated with signing up to a new health service clinic.
