Northwestern Medicine – Sycamore

This place is amazing for people struggling with depression anxiety anger and more I had a great experience and I was helped a ton thanks to Norb and Pam they helped so much with my recovery.

I'll never trust another medical professional again after going here. I needed help. They stabbed me in the back. Now I won't get the help I need. Alcohol will have to do.

Collette is absolutely terrible. Won’t adjust medication when you say it’s not working for you, just tells you to go outside more. DO NOT come here to be seen by her if you actually want to be helped. Northwestern… Medicine shouldn’t have a NP as a psychiatric provider. She has no idea what’s she’s doing when it comes to mental health.

From what I have seen, the outpatient treatment done by this facility is an absolute joke and waste of time. It seems to me they care far more about themselves and how they look as a program than the adolescent patient.… When a child had visible self-harm wounds and stated they want to be admitted, the program told the parent the cuts were superficial and that the patient was fine. Is this because it makes their program look bad taking someone that's outpatient and admitting them to an in patient program? The doctors have downplayed the patient's self destructing behaviors and those behaviors have only amplified since being released. Please, take your children somewhere else. Somewhere that will LISTEN to parents concerns and offer far more help than "family counseling." Parents, trust yourself and your experiences at home with your children. If you believe they are on the wrong medications and not properly diagnosed, please get multiple professional opinions! Dr Nadimpalli and the rest of the staff here, I wish you the best, but I wish the patients and their families far better.

Dr. Dennison and Jill, his NP, are absolutely amazing. I have received nothing short of top-tier treatment from them. I’ve been coming here for about 10 years. They have changed my life and I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic location with wonderful staff. I have always been treated courteously by staff, and the doctor does a fabulous job. I simply don’t understand the bad reviews. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jennifer caldera had appointment set up for face time appointment time came and went got text message for link 4steps to link up her photo came up visit will start. It never started called they say it’s not linked up ,… but I still got billed for no service Scam at northwestern Do not sign up for face time with doctor it does not work but you be charged for appointment that never takes place A person at my work got ripped off trying this too it’s a scam Doctors are using to make money

Since I did not complete inpatient therapy which was for only a month because I felt like I wasn’t getting the therapy I needed but the helping you with coping skills which was good they decided to completely cancel my… psychiatrist appointment with Collette saying it’s a requirement to finish iop (all of sudden now it’s a requirement) to see her so they canceled on me for the THIRD TIME IN A ROW. I’ve been trying to see this lady for literal months now trying to get HELP before I even considered going to this iop program which is is in the same building but it is separate and in a different area of getting psychiatric help. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANNA BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Go somewhere else. I should have listened to my original therapist who I couldn’t see for a month while going to this iop program because my insurance can’t cover going to both at the same time to go to Braden instead. They also only have only one psychiatrist working available in that building because other workers quit or get laid off (hmm I wonder why?) but he has no openings available because he’s so booked so I had to settle with Collette who isn’t even a psychiatrist but a nurse practitioner and I couldn’t even get in to see her because they kept canceling my appointments and just canceled my first appointment with her yesterday which was supposed to be today AGAIN and making all these excuses. I wouldn’t even bother like the other guy said on the reviews. Unprofessional.

Jackie is rude and incompetent. This location has consistently been problematic. Scheduling appointments to later claim that they shouldn’t have scheduled and were unaware of case closure. Lack of communication amongst… the staff is a huge problem, nurses saying one thing and front desk paper handlers saying something different. HIPPA is a joke to these people. Dr Dennison is wonderful and I will seek treatment from him at a different location.

I was referred here from my work program. I love the counselor I was assign and received professional service and treated with respect. Would highly recommend.
