Stood there for one day after being sent there from hospital.. after short stay there I returned to hospital and was told, “leave all your stuff here it’s safe nobody will touch it.” Was still in hospital about two… weeks later with no way to possibly get it myself and they refused to bring it to me. Finally found someone to retrieve my clothes and half of my clothes were gone and replaced with dingy very second hand clothing, as well as a lot of my expensive name brand clothes missing all together. Very unprofessional and unorganized rehab and I wouldn’t recommend anybody to send there loved ones there or to admit yourself there. Horrible experience if I could put zero stars I would.

After my partner enrolled in Progress House Men's Recovery House in Coloma, CA, I was shocked to discover their misleading policies and practices. Despite advertising as a men-only recovery program, their staff is… predominantly female, leading to uncomfortable and potentially damaging situations for residents and their partners. The strict no-couples policy is enforced, yet intimate one-on-one sessions between male residents and female counselors are allowed, which undermines trust and integrity. This experience has been deeply hurtful and damaging to our relationship, adding unnecessary strain during an already challenging time. I urge others to consider these inconsistencies before choosing this program.

This place is amazing, the area's beautiful and far away from any distractions. The program is a little week and focuses around the NA and AA step work, which is fine but if that's all your learning you'll have a hard… time with doing a full 90 days. The staff is very nice and genuinely care about you. Only thing is that there is a lack of staff and the counselors that were there were greatly overwhelmed with work and don't think were able to give the attention to each person that they needed. Overall it's a great place and it changed my life for the better and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a another chance at life.
