My experience with RU changed my perspective on my recovery entirely I found the love and hope that I didn't think existed anymore

Recovery unplugged changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The care for their clients went far beyond my expectations of rehabilitation centers. My counselor LuLu helped me find the understanding of myself… needed to move forward from active addiction, my case manager Chloe provided me the resources needed to take the next steps, and my Alumni Coordinator Natalie has an incomparable heart for those in recovery as they take those next steps. The program also entrenches you in the Austin recovery community, intentionally becoming the connective tissue with society needed for rehabilitation from addiction. As someone who never wanted to step into rehab, I would recommend the program to anyone.

I would give it no stars if I could they treat people like shit like not humans. They tried forcing my husband to live in an apartment and work when I kept telling them that he’s in no shape to work he had a seizure… accident. There was a person in there at night walking around with a knife out and they have cameras you can see in on.when I asked when he’s getting out they said oh when he can prove he can work if he doesn’t work he can’t complete the course and goes against our medical advise. I had to call the police to get him out of there. Even when I asked what all they can do to get hep When I thought they were doing good what all our insurance can help they would tell Me and would get charged random things this place needs to be shut down or better staff

I think the staff of recovery unplugged are very interested in others recovery. They helped me find housing after I left and the food was amazing.

I absolutely loved PHP at their Encore Center. The entire building is like a large rock band rehearsal space with a stage for performances, and believe it or not, that’s how we do therapy and stuff…from the stage! It’s… a really unique approach to rehab - incorporating the music event so heavily. Quick shout out to one of the staff members, Natalie. She runs a great group, and emanates such warmth and glows from her emo attire. Happy to say, I am sober and just wanted to express my gratitude to the entire staff (especially the Alumni unit!). I’m a very happy client.

They really have people that care. The staff is very accommodating within reason. Overall great place to get help. Also the community is amazing.

This place is amazing. I like that its smaller cause I got more attention. Ms Erica,Daniella, and Dan, yall totally rock! Had it not been for yall I'm not so sure id be here today. Great experience here at RU! Love all of the staff especially my case manager Chloe and my counselor Justin. I especially enjoyed the fact that it is music based. This helped me get through a lot of emotions.

I can't say enough great things about my treatment at RU. I was in the PHP program and the curriculum is awesome. They definitely help you get out of your comfort zone with Open Mic on Wednesdays, which I loved! The… mens houses are both very nice and comfortable. And they provide food for us and we can still purchase extra if we want. I would recommend this facility to any and everyone!

Recovery unplugged has been a very important part of my journey. My therapist, staff, the clients, and especially my case manager Chloe have really helped me through this chapter of my life. Chloe was my case manager… and really helped me get my doctors appointments figured out , my probation appointments, and answered any other questions I had. My therapist Jess was also very helpful and I felt like she was the only therapist I’ve ever had that I could truly be honest with. The techs are also awesome and really help you through the day. I definitely recommend this place and you really get what you put in out of it.

Recovery unplugged is by far the best rehabilitation center and community i have ever experienced! The care about everyone who goes there and treats them with the exact respect and love that we need!! If you want to… stay sober, RU is where you need to start!

I had an incredible experience at Recovery Unplugged. I was truly in need of a fresh, different approach to recovery, and RU provided exactly that. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and understood.… The entire staff was amazing—thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my well-being. What really stood out to me was how much they truly care. They took the time to listen, to connect, and to create a safe and encouraging environment where I could focus on my healing. The program itself was unique and meaningful, offering a new perspective that really resonated with me and helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect.
