I had an appointment with this guy named JJ through a justice center I got in contact with after the PD in FoCo suggested I leave since I was being stalked/looked for so I get in touch with JJ told him that I couldn't… do appointments the way he does them I told I can only do emails it was so stressfuI still very much is. I never want someone to go through what I am right now. So I tell JJ going on vacation, being a single parent that works full time a vacation is a time when I can do things more freely without the distraction of work so that means I can do appointments or set things up and have meetings in person with my son by my side. I sent him an email asking if a certain day works for him and he doesn't not reply at all! A day before the appointment I wasnt even sure if he looked at my email or what there was no reply none I looked before I emailed then I sent him an email hey need someone more on top of it who cares about mine and my sons safety. he goes well since you said you were on vacation I avoided contact completely to also not send an email since he cares about who had access to my phone as Service de la razas policy cause they don't know and wanna keep the people they are talking to safe I get that but to not answer an email about when to see you? Then he said okay well to not have further frustrations I'm going to hand you off to somebody else he said good luck, I told him thank you because it is serious. 3 days later nothing a week later nothing ... so i call for his supervisor or manager and the girl that answered says "oh but I know him personally" so ?? Right there that lady that was on the phone her she didn't give me her name when I asked she just said she couldn't go and look on the computers to see who I should expect to contact me she couldn't help. She got my name and number "took notes" her having a bias and not listening is also not cool she said she was going to give my number to the manager so that way she can call me back and that gave me a clue I should be waiting on a women's email. I left a message also to Porchlight justice center cuz they said that they Also know this JJ guy regardless I still never once got a email from his manager or those people he "handed" the case too. People out there are really in need and you just toss me aside and my son like that. Juan Jose Gamba. The system isn't made for who it was supposed to be made for.
JJ HE’S A BAD ASS ALL AROUND! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
Honestly the biggest waste of my time. I never achieved any goals, my pure coach never called me or checked on me..... So if I, (you know, with all of my back-to-back-to-back-to-back TBIs), happened to forget to reach… out to her, well..... Nothing ever was accomplished! Then, when I try to bring it to the attention of a supervisor, a lot of excuses were made for her, there was no accountability, and there was no validation of the negative impact this failure to communicate or follow through has had on my life. Had my coach followed through on anything she promised, I probably would not have lost my housing 😎 so yeah, it's wild, and they also place a lot of burden on the client to be more professional than the employee....... They don't have a lot of tolerance for neurodiversity or cultural awareness. My life actually regressed because I was a client here. It's just one more cook in the kitchen (rEsOuRcE) that doesn't pull their weight.
They are great at helping with my needs.
Excellent service in everything
Great people
I can’t say enough great things about this food bank! Run by Servicios de la Raza, every month they provide a huge selection of food and clothing to the community, and it has been a lifesaver for me particularly. The… coordinator Daniel Santos, is so warm and welcoming-he greets everyone with a smile, and he’s fluent both and English and Spanish, making everyone feel included. If you’re looking for a reliable and caring food bank this the place!”and last but no the least to the volunteers who help this place run, and a big heartfelt thanks to every person or business who makes donations for this place, I am greatly honored.
Super helpful for my husband. They really do help anyone trying to better their life's after getting out.
They provide excellent service
Lucas salashad gone above and beyond to help me. He is definitely for us
Helping me with transition
They are great
I'm at the director of marketing to film an interview about a local issue in Denver. Fabulous bilingual staff. This place has all type of community services, some I'm still learning about.
My case manager was Lucas and he was an amazing person to work with he pushed me to take classes I thought I wasn't able to accomplish and they are so kind and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to change there… lives and needs someone to believe in them it would be Servicios De La Raza
I had the worst possible customer service from Maria Alejandra. The people that ask for services from Servicios De La Raza are already going through a terrible time and they need the best guidance, patience and… resources possible. Maria Alejandra, was impatient, raised her voice and tone and made me feel like I was worthless. I am appalled at the way she would speak to someone in a crisis the way she did.
Amazing place, they help so many people go check them out and see what they can do for you. My case manager Lucas Salas Amazing man and, his heart is in his job for sure.
A very good organization, they helped me out tremendously.thanks so much
The staff there is extremely proficient at getting people connected to resources. Special THANX to Lucas and Jennifer for all their help, Outstanding service.
My experience with Servicios was great, Lucas Salas was very informative and helped me with everything thing I needed to get on my feet. I appreciate them. Thanks for the outstanding work yous do for the community!
The staff at servicios de la raza are amazing they have helped me with a dv situation and I went through with it and thanks to them I am free DIVORCED and happy and looking at my girls faces happy and not dealing with… the drama Thanks again to the services I received
I was recently released from prison and went there looking for help. They did give me a 50 dollar Walmart card and a pair of shoes which I am grateful for. But I was told if I took a flaggers class they would pay 600… dollars towards my rent. I took the class and have a full time job which is another requirement. But then when I asked for the money to help with my rent they said they needed a copy of the lease and a w-9 from the landlord. The lease was no problem but I got the paperwork for the w-9 and they want the landlords social security number and birth date. And I've never heard of an organization needing that kind of information. I was embarrassed to ask my landlord but I did anyway because the caes workers at servicios tried to make it sound like it was normal. My landlord didn't feel comfortable giving them his ssn and birth date. I feel like they offer this knowing that not many people would be comfortable handing over that kind of information. It feels like they scammed me out of my time with false promises. If you guys want to get the landlords SSN# then maybe you should explain why. It don't make sense he would have to give me the information for me to then provide that to you. Not many people are going to be willing to do that. I'm not sure why you guys didn't explain that you were going to need that kind of sensitive information before you had me do all the requirements to get the money for rent. I could really use the help but my landlord don't feel comfortable giving out that kind of personal information. He's not a business organization. He's a private owner
You tell me it's a good organization and that it helps
The staff was friendly & helpful. They gave us good service.
