Literally said I only needed a year of therapy, and I’m worse than when I went in.

Just from reading the reviews I will not be going to this so-called counseling center don't need the pain and confusion if staff doesn't know what they're doing they should find a job in a different field people's lives… are in jeopardy never put your trust and secrets into a strangers hands also Prozac is an LSD derivative FYI ..save the children

My son's therapist has been amazing. Uriel has been a great advocate for my son to receive services, and has been very attentive and supportive. We are so thankful for Uriel and his team for supporting my son during a… time that we would describe as one of the most challenging for him so far. Thank you so much to South Coast!

Because I am again off my medication (due to the incredible negligence of the staff at South Coast) and have not slept in over 3 day’s as a result... please hang with me as I try to articulate how truly inhumane this… organization is. I have been a fully functioning productive member of society ever since I turned my life of to God and got sober almost 24 YEARS ago. Of those 24 years I have pretty much been in the same medication of Trazodone, Ambien, and Prozac. While on these medications I not only thrived but was able to show up to society with my gifts and talents fully functioning and as a result blessed many in my work, social, and spiritual life. When my husband left me he took his insurance with him and I had to fight for over a year to get on medical. Once I finally got insurance I went to South Coast having no idea of the continued torture I was about to experience. After spending 3 sessions with a clinician (having no idea who I was seeing or why considering I was only there to get back in my medication) I was diagnosed with three very serious mental illnesses. This despite having taken 2 MMPI tests in the past, going through 2 730 evaluations, having a first class medical clearance (2009) and over 30 years in 12 step recovery and therapy without ever receiving a diagnosis. Not only that, but they did everything BUT give me my medication. Each time handing me flyers as to where else I needed to drive to, or spend hours and precious energy that had as a result completely DESTABILIZED ME! How convenient it must be for them to simply do that to someone and now that I am upset be able to point the finger back to a MIS DIAGNOSIS that they gave me. I am a 45 year old woman who needed to simply get back on my medication so that I could resume a life full of responsibilities as a single mom. They sent me to places where inappropriate questions were asked in front of my daughter and now I am 4 nights no sleep having withdrawals from going off my Trazadone and Prozac because they did everything but what they were supposed to do. If anything happens to me as a result of this there will be hell to pay. I am loved, I am a child of God, I know myself and they should have just giving me my medication!

AFTER OVER 5+YEARS, 8+ DIFFERENT "INTERNS" 6+PSYCHOLOGISTS AND COUNTLESS HOURS OF DEDICATED EFFORT ON MY PART, I AM MORE SYMPTOMATIC THAN WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED. I LIVE IN A COMMUNITY IN DESPERATE AND SEVERE NEED OF… MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS. I AM ACTUALLY EMBARRASSED OF THE AMOUNT OF TIME AND EFFORT I PLACED INTO AN INSTITUTION THAT RECEIVES HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS. IF YOU WANT TO BE A LAB ANIMAL,TREATED LIKE AN EXPERIMENTAL MAMMAL, OR JUST WOULD LIKE TO EXPERIENCE THE CONSTANT DISREGARD OF ANY COMPASSION OR TRUE INSIGHTFUL GUIDANCE, SOUTH COAST EPITOMIZES ABUSE.

Haven't received a call for treatment for my son. 3 months have gone by. Pretty fkd up. Have left countless messages with no response. For the kids right....
