Summit Treatment Services – Pittsburgh Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 3121 Smallman Street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15201. The city lies within Allegheny County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Summit Treatment Services – Pittsburgh Reviews and Ratings
Summit Treatment Services reviews come from around the web and from patients, loved ones and referring professionals who write to RehabSeekers directly.
If Summit Treatment Services treated you or someone close to you, your account would help the next family deciding.
The staff have always been professional as well as compassionate. I have had quite a few therapists though, but the one constant I have always been able to count on is Michele. I wouldn't be where I'm at in my recovery… If not for her.
Summit has got me clean and kept me clean. I have read some of reviews but the ones against Michelle are wrong. When you have to deal with 1000 different personalities and have heard every excuse in the world, she has… to be a no nonsense leader. Michelle will do anything for you she just dont want to be lied to, who does. Her heart is big and extremely busy. Nurses at the windows are great along with M.J
“Michele and London have been so helpful and patient with me. They truly keep me on my toes in the best way, and I appreciate all the support they’ve given. Thanks to their guidance and care, I’ve been able to stay on… track and celebrate 18 months clean. I love them both and I’m so grateful for everything they do.” – Denise Johnson
Ive been coming here for about 7 or 8 yrs now and I always have a great experience. The gals at the front desk and even the some of the nurses have all been there for years and know me by name. I couldn't be where I am… today without their help.
Absolutely horrendous place inside and out. Dirty as dirty can be. The entire building is just filthy. The doctor and clinical “director” Michelle I believe is her name, are two of the worst people I have encountered in… my lifetime. With the DANGEROUSLY large amount of reviews about how terrible she is I cannot believe she still is employed there. But knowing the doctor, they clearly don’t care at all. I am not only 6 years in recovery but I also work in this field of substance use disorder, and I wouldn’t send a single person here to get sober and start their recovery journey. This place is a relapse WAITING to happen. the counselor London is the only person I’d ever recommend to anyone and it’s a shame she doesn’t work elsewhere in this field. STAY. AWAY. if you take your recovery serious!!!!!!
The people In the front are nice ,The Supervisors are the worst ,The treat you like Crap , don't listen or try to help you in any way , it's unbelievable that someone higher up don't or won't look into it , Changes… Should Be Made .
I’ve been to many places for help on the inside and on the outside over the last 20 years. But when I arrived at Sunmit I couldn’t believe how different it was than anywhere I’d been. They actually genuinely care about… you here. Michelle is amazing, Ian is awesome. They always work with you when you’re having a tough time. I’ve had 3 counselors over the last several years and I couldn’t say enough nice things about them. I’ve actually got help here. Not being treated like a child but as an adult. I’m thankful for Sunmit band cause it’s hands down the best place to be if you want help. And shout out to Cj he’s the best too.
The front desk ladys are nice and the doesin nurses are to but the supervisor Michelle is rude and that's not just my opinion u can ask several other people and my dad called there and she just talked to him and said my… business without even knowing if it was really him or not that is considered hipa just cause someone everyone deserves a 2 chance
Place is unbelievable bad , The Staff is Terrible, Uncaring, Unprofessional, Mean in every way , Especially the Lady With The Dyed Black Hair and Glasses Michele, She is one of the Meanest, and Most Terrible Humans I… Ever Met .I Have No Idea How She Keeps Her Job .She Should know people have problems some times , it's Nice to Be Nice Sometimes and listen to people, That place is Supposed to help people having problems, not make is Worse For Them .Sad .
Not a Good Place at all, Horrible Supervisors . Needs looking into and Changes Should Be Made .
I love Summit/Pinnacle. It has definitely saved my life. I like it so much better than Tadiso. The people are really friendly and I've had a much better experience overall. ❤️🔐😉❤️ I wish there was a closer location to… McKeesport though. A clinic there would help so many more people.
The counselors are great and the rest of the staff is also wonderful also they address any problem that will arise in a timely manner
This place is great, saving som many lives daily. Pinnacle clinics are the best clinics in my opinion and if you go to this one, you don’t have to go weekend!! Really good program they are helping me immensely in so… many areas of my life that drug abuse left me behind in!!
I have been clean for 16 years. Not 1 dirty urine screen. I had outpatient surgery and they gave me benzos and fentanyl for the surgery. Well the clinic said i had a benzo in my urine screen that was 2 months ago. The… point im trying to make is why are thry taking all my privileges away for that. My record speaks for itself. And let me add that the physician assistant was very wrong for the way she treated me. I waited 4 hours for a paper to come through. I am going back to discovery. They treated me like a person. I pray that i get them back. I often stay overnight with my grandchildren and some weekends i go away. A little mini vacation. Please let me have my take homes back.
May 4th 2023 10:30am: The client next to me bumped into my dose cup and it spilled all over the floor. They refused to re-dose me. Then the nurse lied and said that i "drank some of it." I do not recommend, this place… is a circus and run by clowns.
I think summit as a clinic is a great resource to manage your life and begin again. Counselors are great! I do agree that the times open can be a struggle. Overall a good place!
It's open and treating addiction they accept Medicaid now,it's one of the smaller clinics. They open at 5am closed at 11 am they also deal with suboxone. Great place to go if you want to be clean
I’ve heard nothing but great reviews about this place I’m about to transfer from the discovery house!!! 100 😳🙃🤩💤💯💯🤞👌😍🤪🤬🤔straight up duuuude
So I did review summit under my other profile.....I transferred to Summit from Tadiso after my counselor left. It's a methadone clinic. You get what you put into it. Ms Angel, the lady who gets you in , is so nice as… are the dosing nurses, Ms MJ, the lady at the front window, is also nice. I have not encountered anyone who was mean or nasty or unhelpful here. They sincerely want to see everyone succeed. Don't fight your counselor, they are there to help and if you don't mesh well then ask for a new counselor. I have found that in the 3 1/2 years that I have been enrolled in the clinic, most people who do the most complaining are the ones who consistently break rules and get into trouble. What's more important? Your recovery or the few miserable people who try to drag you down? Then you have the ,"methadone only keeps you stuck", people. Well so does heroin and pills....the difference is, you probably WONT DIE from methadone. I have a friend who successfully graduates pit of the clinic, got married and pregnant, and she is doing well. The point is, methadone can help. It's what you make of it. GOD plus methadone saved my life.....got a job and my kids back in my life. Could not have done that on dope.
I came to Summit after leaving Tadiso. I like Summit better. The staff are really nice, it's usually quick and doing our monthly group isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The only problem w Summit is the hours: 5… am-11am Mon- Fri and Saturday 5 am-9 am. The upside is they are closed on Sunday so you get a take-home bottle. Anyway, it's a methadone clinic. It's what you make of it. If you want to leave the drugs behind and you work as hard for your recovery as much as you worked for getting high, you'll be fine. GOOD LUCK 👍
Great clinic! It is on a bus line. The bus practically drops you off right at the clinic. The are owned and operated by the same company as Alliance, Pinnacle. They basically have all the same rules and policies as… Alliance. If you like Alliance, you will like it even better here. Especially for the clients that use public transportation! The staff and counselors are excellent!
It went downhill over the years the service
There a good clinic u don't get stoped all the time like Tidso ur In and out but they should expand there hrs 12 m-f and 10 on Sat
I love it, it is what y make it. U gotta take in consideration that ur going to a place where it’s all addicts. If ur done using ull do ANYTHING for treatment. A bad review for here just is people not ready to clean… themselves up, follow rules, and not hang with the people getting into trouble. 👍🏽👍🏽👌🏽💪🏽🧠👂🏼👄👩🏽💼👨🏻💼👨🏾💼👩🏻💼
This place just keeps addicts sick. My ex has been stuck there for 6 years now. Best advice is to detox
