Sunshine Terrace ARTF – Spokane

I was lucky enough to find Sunshare Terrace 17 years ago when I was in desperate need to find a place to house a sibling that was living in Spokane but no longer capable of taking care of himself. As an out of state… person with a very short time window, the situation was extremely stressful. Not only did Sunshine Terrace come through when I was in a bind 17 years ago, they have consistenly taken care of my sibling in a such a caring and complete manner for these 17 years that I constantly count my lucky stars that I found them. It's hard to imagine a better outcome than the one my sibling and I have enjoyed all these years. Thank you so much Sunshine and staff, your are my hero! My

I called and spoke with the social worker today about the multifaceted issues I am having with my aging mother. She was amazingly helpful and listened to all the issues, even the ones that were not directly linked to… getting care at the facility. If her care and attitude reflect the rest of the staff, I hope if/when mom needs care we can place her here.

I lived here in 2006-2007 it really improved my wellness as an individual and also learned to become a caregiver while living here. Thank you Spokane Valley. Big Hug

Lots of staff gossip. Management is very inexperienced with navigating these situations and generally side with the girls causing the drama. UPDATE: we took Matt up on his offer made under this post and sent him an… email regarding the situation and we got zero response.

I am grateful for the caring staff and personal here. My daughter is a resident and it has been life changing for her and our whole family. Her mental health is improving daily. She loves the kindness and help she is… receiving.

Giving Sunshine Terrace 5 stars . My niece is there at this time. She as home for Christmas, what a remarkable difference in her attitude, behavior and overall demeanor. So nice that there is somewhere that focuses on… the mental health/behavioral health and not the drug and alcohol addictions. She is doing much better, her positive attitude is a bonus. Hope that this will continue as she is able to make life changing progress. Thank you for the support and treatment she is receiving.

Sunshine terrace has helped me immensely. I am able to program... Got my teeth fixed and a pair of glasses really needed. Because I don't know how to get around Spokane because of memory problems there's a wonderful… case manager who not only books my appointments but also drives me. Every single staff member is respectful and helpful. This place has completely enhanced my life.

During a mental health crisis, I was a resident at Sunshine Terrace. The mental health services provided are a complete joke. No one improves their mental health at Sunshine Terrace by the programming offered. I had… medicaid at the time and it paid for anti-depressants, a lot of group karaoke sessions and unlimited carbohydrates.

I live across the street and have had several relatives as guests there. Always treated well and professionally and they said the food was good
