Talbott Dunwoody Detox and Rehab Services

Talbott Dunwoody provides specialized outpatient detoxification services for individuals experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms. This medically supervised process allows patients to receive necessary stabilization and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) while continuing to reside at home or in supportive housing. The clinical team monitors physical health closely during this phase to ensure a safe transition into the more intensive therapeutic levels of the program.

Following stabilization, patients participate in rehabilitation services that utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). The program is structured to address the complex interplay between substance use and mental health conditions like anxiety or unresolved grief. By offering both day and evening tracks, the facility ensures that patients can receive intensive clinical support while gradually reintegrating into their daily responsibilities.

I did the research, looked online, but when I actually met the staff here that is what sealed the deal for me. They are kind, caring, and great at therapy. I needed help with substance use, but more than that, I needed… help with the underlying issues that came long before the drugs & drinks. I got help here with my trauma, anxiety and depression. Jamarri and her staff are incredible. I felt safe. I felt genuinely cared for. And I could actually feel myself getting better. My husband and 2 daughters said that "they got their mom/wife back" and now my relationship with them is the best it has ever been. I can literally say this place saved my life, my job, my marriage and my relationship with my 2 jewels, my girls. I can't say enough good things about this place. The ladies that work here are truly angels. I am forever grateful. Don't let the bad reviews scare you, if you read them thoroughly you will see how similar they are.

These people are a joke not only do they not have anybody that can run a program it’s run by the clients but they will kick you out in the street if there is any insurance problems and not even offer up a place to go… but just ask for money or your out. The lead person there Jamarie is never there and if she is offers very little help.KP only has diversion tactics and everything you ask here is you need to ask well for lack of a better word someone else. They also claim you are in group even if you’re not. While I was there I watched several clients sleep on the floors knod off in class and be gone more than half a day. If you are looking for them to transport you anywhere that will be a no to groups to a meeting and maybe if you are lucky to the pharmacy. The house long is independent thru arches and they will show up at all hrs of the night to drug test you not a care in the world and tell you over and over again that if you don’t want to be there don’t. I don’t know about you but when I came here I was desperate and was told several times well this is better than the streets. The streets was never my story. If you are looking for real recovery I would not recommend talbott or the arches to my worst enemy’s.

I own and operate a local sober living program and have shared many clients and worked closely with Talbott as well as most of the other local IOP programs. In my dealings with Talbott I have never experienced or… witnessed anything but the highest levels of professionalism and ethical standards. They are great to work with and provide quality, compassionate, and outcome-driven care for all if their patients. If I had a loved one who needed the type of treatment they provide, Talbott would be at the top of the list of facilities I would recommend.

Absolutely the worst IOP I’ve attended. Not only did they straight lie to me to get me to come, but they also lied about how long the program was and the fact that they would be paying my rent at my sober living… residence. Furthermore, they overloaded all the caseworkers’ caseloads to the extent that I wasn’t able to meet with my caseworker but twice, didn’t meet any of the goals we set forth, nor did they care. They shuffled me right through the program and out the door without aiding my recovery in any way whatsoever. I’ve been in recovery for 10 years. And had recently slipped up and wanted to get extra help in staying clean. What I got instead was lied to and used by a company who apparently has no qualms about standing on the graves of addicts for monetary gain. In fact, this place was so bad that no less than 2 counselors left (including my own) during my 30 day stay due to personal disagreements with the company. It’s a complete disgrace to everyone who is actually trying to help addicts and alcoholic a recover. And the icing on the cake was the fact that after being promised that they would cover rent at my sober living, and giving their word that they would not allow me to get into a homeless situation, that’s exactly what they did. And the program director, Laura (the one who made these promises) had the audacity to act like these things were not clearly stated and has since refused to return my calls. Do yourself a favor and go to anywhere but here. Alana and Tangu are just up the road. And both are incredible programs with ppl who actually care. But if you must come here make sure u read every one of the 200 pages they make u sign during admissions and make sure everything is filled in. Because they’ve been double charging ppl even tho they have met their out of pocket/deductible. Don’t be afraid to say “no”.

This place saved my life. I graduated from here in about December, and I am a completely different person than I was before. The staff was amazing when I was there, and I truly felt cared about as an individual.… Everyone taught me so much, and I am sooosooo grateful for everything I learned; I use all the skills I acquired here on a daily basis. I honestly kind of miss being here sometimes. And Andrea, if you’re reading this, I love you sooosooo much! Thank you for helping me, you wonderful human.
