This place has been amazing for me. I have loved the experience it has kept me sober and helped me continue my journey in life. They even go to the extent of having amazing alumni coordinators that keep up with you… after you leave the program.

When I was admitted, the apartment they placed me in for coursing was a complete mess with mold, gnats, bugs, and tons of rotting food. Within the several days i was there, I cleaned it out, unpacked my stuff, went… grocery shopping, and finished the intake process. Just for them to tell me that the program wasn't trauma focused enough for me. They said they were going to send me somewhere less addiction focused, but they sent me to another program that's exactly like theirs. Extremely unhelpful and only made the situation worse

First of all, if you or a loved one are struggling with addiction of any kind, please know there is hope. My heart goes out to you. Stay strong, stay connected, and never lose faith. ARP has truly been an angel sent… into my life. I feel so blessed that our paths crossed. When I thought my world was ending and I was losing all hope, they stepped in—for both me and my daughter. Now, about five years later, I can honestly say they saved my daughter’s life, and in many ways, they saved my family too. It’s not magic—it takes hard work—but none of it would have been possible without the people who work there. I may forget some names, but Jeff in particular is a gift from God. He does his job with love, empathy, honesty, a sense of fun, and unwavering dedication. I truly hope ARP can help you or your loved ones the way they helped us. I know every journey is different, but from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the very best. Thank you, ARP and team, for everything you’ve done for my daughter. Watching her grow free from chains and thrive is priceless. Thank you!

I’m so grateful for the care and kindness that my son, Jordan received during his time at Atlanta Recovery Place. The staff always showed genuine dedication and compassion towards Jordan and was there to answer all of… my questions and concerns when I called or texted them. I have now been volunteering there for 3 1/2 years and actually work at ARP part time with their family program. The staff has become like family to me ❤️

ARP SAVED MY LIFE — and continues to shape it! Three years ago, I walked into Atlanta Recovery Place completely broken — a homeless veteran battling severe PTSD, carrying the trauma of molestation, rape, and domestic… violence. I was suicidal, ashamed, and had lost all hope. But ARP refused to let me give up on myself. They provided comprehensive care — medical treatment, counseling (including family intervention), coping techniques, temporary housing, food vouchers, transportation services, and even extracurricular activities that taught me how to live happy, joyous, and free without mind-altering substances. The medical staff, techs, counselors, and facilitators didn’t just treat me — they saw me, they believed in me, and they patiently gave me the tools I needed to rebuild my life. As a late bloomer in recovery, I was overwhelmed and unsure, but they walked with me every step of the way. Today, I proudly stand at 3 years and 5 months clean. I’ve gone from surviving to thriving — I received my doctorate, became a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES), graduated from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy, and now serve in the community as a mentor, chaplain, and advocate. I’m also an active member of ARP’s Alumni Peer Support group, pouring back into others the same hope that was given to me. I now have a voice. I now have purpose. I now have peace. Millions didn’t make it, but I am one of the ones who did! To anyone struggling: Recovery is possible. And Atlanta Recovery Place is where that possibility can begin. Clean, sober, and living free since 2/2/22 — and forever grateful to ARP!

ARP is truly a special place. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion. The people here don’t just welcome you—they truly see you. I’ve never encountered a treatment team so… dedicated, intuitive, and proud of the work they do. Their passion for recovery and deep care for each individual shine through in every interaction. It genuinely feels like home. A special shout-out to Jeff, Devin, and Jasmine—I’ve never met people who so instinctively understand what you need, right when you need it. They cut straight to the heart of things, not just because they’re great at what they do, but because they care that deeply. They are truly extraordinary.

This program is the real deal. The staff are young, relatable, and bring their own powerful experiences to the table. They have a beautiful way of living in principle and teaching that to others through example. You… feel seen and supported from day one. Their love for helping others isn’t just talk — it’s how they lead. Genuine, compassionate, and rooted in real connection.
