I called Transformations by the Gulf today looking for help I needed. Taylor was so amazing on the phone and provided support and detailed answers to my questions. I cannot recommend this place or Taylor highly enough!

June 2023, I attended Transformations and had a wonderful and very healing experience. I recently have celebrated 600 days sober from alcohol, which is what I went into rehab for. The staff was knowledgeable,… respectful, and supportive. The living accommodations were top notch! It was a true home away from home feeling. I would not be where I am today without Transformations!

Transformations gave me a safe place to heal with dignity and respect. The staff and counselors listen to clients and make sure clients know their needs matter. My life is better having gone to Transformations.

Transformations by the Gulf provides more than anyone seeking treatment could possibly hope for. Their incredibly talented, kind hearted staff truly care about each & every one of the clients. From meditation walks on… the beach, to healing yoga, acupuncture, and a private chef, the variety and quality of offerings there surpass all assumptions about what "drug and alcohol rehab" will be.

Amazing facility. The therapist are so amazing. Huge shoutout to the best therapist ever Jackee. She went above and beyond to make me get to the root of my problems in addiction. She is a godsend to the recovery… community and my recovery. b

Transformations by the Gulf is truly a breath of fresh air. The owners truly care for their clients, they radiate a desire to teach clients a new way of life. Treatment here extends beyond the group and individual… therapeutic environment and clients are given the opportunity to begin experiencing life without the use of substances. There is a balance of mind, body, and spirit and special focus on treating each part of the person as a whole. I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful facility and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a new way of life!

I went to Transformations in 2021. I suffered from extreme alcoholism, and was in early stages of liver failure. This facility helped save my life. I had never spent more than a few days away from home before, but had… absolutely no problem living here for a month. The owner is personable and caring. Mary is amazing and absolutely caring of every single client. Every single therapist is knowledgeable and loving. They truly care about you, and not only teach you how to cage the beast of a disease, but how to live and love life again. Julia was my therapist, and to this day I still use the tools that she taught me one one one. Randi was an absolute pleasure, and motivated us daily. The other staff is phenomenal as well. Jay is an excellent house manager, and really cares about our success as much as we did. To this day, he still sends me motivational texts. Ray was absolutely a delight as well, may he rest in peace. Living here for over a month was such a pleasure. The staff understood my past trauma, and had no problem giving me my own apartment. The cook there was absolutely out of this world, as well. All in all, the entire staff is amazing. The facility is amazing. And my experience was amazing. I even had the Nautilus shell tattooed on me so I never forget where I came from. On my 27th, I will be celebrating 18 months of sobriety. Thanks Transformations, for so many things…but mostly for saving my life.

Amazing experience this place changed my life and give you all the tools you need to succeed and you can continue going back for a alumni meetings after you have left! This is the best treatment center I have ever gone… too the staff is amazing Karen is a great woman, and the people who have left bad reviews definitely didn’t apply themselves and expect the facility to let them do whatever they want and think they can just sleep all day at the end of the day it’s a structured treatment center where you go to get sober it’s not a vacation but it is most definitely the best treatment center out there therapists are great especially Scott they prepare you for life on the outside and do many therapeutic activities would recommend this place for anyone serious about recovery and a great place for your loved ones to heal and get better this place is an absolute game changer I know so many people who stayed sober finally long after they left if you want to be successful in the long term this place is the one for you! Huge difference between this place and other treatment centers, if you go here you will feel like it was worth every cent! Very happy with the results I am sober 5 months later and still go to the alumni meetings and still see the therapist I was working with there! If your on the fence about it trust me and all the other 5 star reviews, this place is a winner!

Transformations got me sober and changed my life! I was struggling with anxiety and drinking for 10 years. This was my first time in a rehabilitation center, and I consider myself so lucky that it was Transformations.… Everyone is very friendly and actually cares about your recovery. I got the help that I needed to stop drinking, but I also got help about why I was drinking. I am over a year sober now, and I owe it all to Transformations. I still meet with my therapist from Transformations and I attend group meetings that I found while I was staying there. I highly recommend Transformations By The Gulf to anyone who is serious about getting help.

The experience included both structure and freedom which created a nice and healing environment for me the counselors they have are great, I’ve been sober/clean 1.1/2 now honestly I wish I found transformations along… time. ago .They’re super clean private apartments/rooms wonderful location and I can’t think of a better place to get your life back on track anybody serious about sobriety check this place out before you waste your time in and out of other treatment centers.

I can’t thank Transformations enough for everything they have done for me. From the moment I walked in, Tammy and Taylor made me feel welcome, comfortable and at home. Throughout the weeks, I learned so much about… addiction, recovery and myself. The entire staff is knowledgeable, patient and they genuinely care about each and every person there. They fully invest themselves in you and help guide you every step of the way. It truly feels like a family there. This program has helped me to change and grow into a better person and will forever be grateful for this experience.

This was my first time in treatment. It was the BEST experience of my entire life!! The staff, the counselors, the women’s house (gorgeous) and the house-mother, Karen, was beyond exceptional! The counselors/ therapists… are THEE BEST! And Jay, our AA connection/driver is absolutely the most wonderful person you’ll ever meet. So kind and so incredibly CARING. I couldn’t praise Transformations more! Stellar on every level! I highly, highly recommend. And, just 2 short blocks to the beach!

I do not doubt that this facility used to be great but I watched it go from semi-decent to a complete train wreck within 2 weeks. The owner is extremely unprofessional and once you aren’t a client giving insurance money… she will treat you like garbage. In the 35 days I was there they only had a nurse on staff for a week and she constantly messed up our medication. The doctor is 85 years old and pushed the medication I was there to detox off of on me multiple times. They can’t handle the 4 clients they have at a time. They read my file with my personal and prescription information to a different client “accidentally” and I would without a doubt predict they will no longer be in business a year from now. With that being said, there are 1 or 2 staff members that were knowledgeable and passionate about recovery. It’s a shame that while you are at your lowest, you have to also worry about petty issues due to negligence and having to advocate for yourself to be taken care of properly. I STRONGLY urge you to choose somewhere else if you want to have success in your recovery.

Some of the most genuine staff you’ll find anywhere. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best experiences of my life, and it literally was a “Transformation” for me!!! What an incredible place, and I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction!!

My girlfriend in Seattle was struggling with addiction and substance abuse after covid. Living in the rain, she was in a dark place and needed treatment, but not the typical “30 day treatment program” she needed a… special place to go and find her old self! We found Transformations by the Bay and were so impressed! The facility and grounds are beautiful, the staff is amazing and it’s in sunny St. Pete Beach, 3 blocks away from the Gulf of Mexico…… Transformations, is a recovery center that focuses on the whole self….they think outside the normal “30 day recovery box!” They have a pool, on site therapists, psychologists, nurses, yoga instructors, acupuncture treatments as well as an on site chef to accommodate any dietary needs. ❤️ They also do something really special….they take their clients fishing out in their boat named “Reel Therapy!” The owner Tammy is terrific, she deals with all of the clients personally!

I felt compelled to chime in on the excellence of Transformations by the Gulf because they truly deserve it the recognition! Someone very dear to me successfully went through the program there and speaks so highly of… it!! This person struggled after attending other rehab centers, but TBTG affected them on a deeper level and now they thrive! Thank you for doing what you do, Transformations! You are life savers!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Transformations. The amount of care and effort put into our son was exceptional. Sandy and the entire staff truly care about the recovery process. They are not there to just take… your money, but go the extra mile. I have dealt with countless Rehabs. This is the only one I would ever recommend! If I could give them 10 stars I would!
