Chris is absolutely amazing at this.
Good service
Rick was a great counselor, helpful, therapeutic and a great guide through the addiction recovery process. Thank you for you help! Wendy K
Stacy and the whole place is just a wonderful healing experience on my journey of just talking to real people with problems going through Recovery small and big problems. Love this place. Stacy is the best.
Great people thy do understand thank you
Nice place. Friendly people.
Excellent staff, always available and knowledgeable. Above and beyond service, willing to work with your schedule. Stacy is absolutely the best! She worked with my busy schedule to make sure I got through the program. I… appreciate her transparency and honesty. She clearly outlined the program expectations and responded to emails, text messages and voicemail in a timely manner.
If you are self-administering yourself to this program, look somewhere else. I played phone tag with someone for 3 days to set up an appointment for intake, and when I came in for my appointment I was told it was… actually telehealth and I needed to reschedule, even though I had attempted to make this appointment for almost a week. For a group that works with addicts, they don’t meet their population where they are. More importantly, I was charged over 50 dollars for NOTHING. I told them my insurance, in which they take. I had a singular conversation on the phone to SET UP an intake appointment (I never had that intake appointment), I gave no information other than basic phone number and address, and I was immediately charged. Hurting a vulnerable population, horrible.
It's an excellent organization
Glad I left this program. The main counselor was rude and gave bad vibes as soon as I arrived. Nobody wants to be in a treatment program where it already seems like you have someone against you. It’s 2026 it’s not hard… to be nice to people. If you don’t have the patience for bs I suggest not coming here!! Also the Rick guy who works there lied to my ADSS..
Acadia NW is an awesome place to help you get back to a better life with wonderful employees, very helpful classes, and they make you feel like a family and never judged. Thank you Acadia NW
Honestly, i can into this program due to court situation, but the knowledge a d experience that i had obtain while being involved has opened my eyes in a more positive way. Beyond the obligations, and individual… mindsets about counseling; the peer groups gives an insight of how the communication really helps ones daily circumstances. Which i truly enjoy the most, education classes create a foundation on how to accommodate certain situation in a way you would really consider choices. Overall that staff are one of a kind, unfortunately i had to enroll based of misfortunate decision, but ive considered staying involved with this organization after its over. And i for one can say ive never thought of counseling as an idealistic thing; they've changed my thinking for the better.
Very easy to work with
Working with Rick Mathiesen was excellent. He was kind, supportive, and guided me through the program with patience. I gained valuable knowledge that will help me moving forward. Thank you, Rick!
I recently contacted Acadia Treatment Center to complete an initial intake assessment after corresponding via email with Caroline, the Operations Manager. Because this was my first interaction with the facility, I… expected a professional and informative experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. During the intake call, Caroline appeared distracted and unprepared. I was placed on hold multiple times without explanation and left sitting in silence while she seemed to rummage through personal belongings in the background. The pauses felt disorganized and uncomfortable rather than purposeful. When I asked about the structure of the program, I did not receive clear or confident answers. I was told that everything is virtual except for routine drug testing, which was repeated several times. However, when I asked more detailed questions — such as whether the program follows a 12-step model or another evidence-based approach — she was unsure and could not explain the framework they use. As an Operations Manager, I would expect a thorough understanding of the treatment philosophy and structure. She mentioned virtual group meetings but explained that my counselor would decide which groups I could attend, without being able to describe what types of groups are available. Educational courses were brought up repeatedly, yet when I asked what those entailed, I was told they only apply to DUI cases and would not apply to me. This added to the confusion about what services are actually available. Additionally, the website advertises medication-assisted treatment options such as Buprenorphine and Vivitrol. Because my partner is specifically seeking medication-assisted treatment, I asked directly about these services. I was then informed that they are not currently offering any medication-assisted treatment and that it is “on hold with the state” for several months. This contradicts what is publicly advertised and is important information that should be clearly communicated upfront. Overall, I left the call feeling uncomfortable with the lack of knowledge, preparation, and professionalism displayed. When individuals reach out for addiction treatment, clarity, competence, and reassurance are critical. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that standard.
I am super happy with my experience. The program is really amazing. The staff really accommodates u and helps us with whatever u need help with. They understand life happens and are still there for u! The video and… classes were very helpful and informational
Place is under new management and it shows!! Friendly & accommodating staff. Telehealth services are provided the only way you will not be successful is by your own accord.
I had some problems with my payment, they charged me after they canceled my appointment because they couldn't help me. I then got a call from management because I gave them a bad review and they wanted to fix the… problem! Wow... they said they would pay me back, it's been a month... nothing has happened, except you call people about a bad review posted online so you can look good, but you don't help people. I reported this as a fraud purchase after you charged them $265 for an appointment you canceled! Scamming lowlifes... do NOT go to Acadia NW, SW, SE, Acadia anyone for anything!!
Craig has personally helped me so much, actually treats me like a human being and done more for me then any other professional.
Had to go to this place back in 2010 when I got a dui & I had to go to aa meetings & was wondering if they still have the sober on Sunday meeting here?
1000% would recommend!! Professional & down to earth staff that make the experience not only less difficult, but they will also advocate for your well being in every sense of the phrase. They are there for you and… provide a safe, nonjudgmental, educational and eye opening experience.
I have only heard great things, when I'm ready for a support system, I'm going to call Acadia first!!
