Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Brandon Detox and Rehab Services
Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Brandon is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Brandon Address, Location and Contact Information
Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Brandon is located at 320 Oakfield Drive in Brandon, Florida, 33511. This address falls in Hillsborough County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Metro Treatment of Florida LP – Brandon Reviews and Ratings

I’ve been a patient at 3 treatment centers in the area. This location is by far the best. And the staff (counselors, nurses, program director, doctors) truly cares about the patients recovery. Whether I’m talking about… my treatment or the policies/procedures of the clinic I’ve never had a program director with whom I’ve felt so comfortable. Penny is so helpful. When I knock on her door I don’t feel like I’m burdening her. I believe every treatment center needs a Director like Penny. Of all the times I’ve spoken to any of the staff they have given me informative answers. And if they don’t know the answer they actually look into it and give me an answer next time I am there. I am not judged and that is very important. So thank you to all the staff at New Season Brandon. You’ve been nothing but helpful and understanding from day one.
I understand that methadone clinics must follow safety protocols, and I respect the importance of patient safety. However, my recent experience here left me feeling unfairly judged and extremely disappointed. I drove… from Plant City to this clinic while seriously ill after dealing with what appeared to be food poisoning for two days, including vomiting, diarrhea, and severe nausea. Despite feeling terrible, I still came in because I take my treatment and responsibilities seriously. While standing at the dosing window on a Friday to receive my dose and scheduled weekend take-home bottles, I briefly closed my eyes for a few seconds because I was feeling extremely nauseous and weak from being sick. I was then told I could not be dosed because it was assumed that I had “fallen asleep.” I was told to “go take a walk” and come back. That response made very little sense to me. If there was genuine concern that I was impaired or “nodding out,” a walk would not address that concern. If the issue was safety, then I believe a proper conversation or evaluation should have taken place instead of assumptions being made. People in M.A.T. programs already face enough stigma. Patients who show up, follow the rules, and remain committed to treatment deserve to be treated with professionalism, fairness, and compassion—especially when they are visibly sick. I ultimately chose to leave, get my money back, and go home because the interaction felt judgmental rather than supportive. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because situations like this can have a real impact on patients who are trying to do the right thing.
Fantastic outpatient clinic! I have been going for the past five years or so. I adore Mrs. Tisha, my counselor. If you need assistance or are having difficulties, they are available to you around-the-clock. The program… director, Mrs. Penny, is so amazing that I can't forget her. Almost any issue you have can be resolved by her. I'm in school, have my ged, and am getting ready to start college for my LPN/CNA and then bridge over to RN. New season and the people I mentioned have helped me stay clean throughout this crazy journey. They really did save my life 💐.
This place is a joke anymore. Nobody knows what’s going on. The rules are constantly changing and the clients arent notified of these new rules until they unknowingly don’t comply. Counselors will say one thing and then… Penny will say another. They make it nearly impossible for you to progress in the program. I’ve been there for years with clean drug screens and only have 2 takehomes a week. New clients who test positive for substances every month receive 1 takehome a week. What’s the point in putting in all this time and effort to stay clean and do the right thing when the new clients who are still using get the same privileges as someone who’s been clean for years? I understand policies are needed, but the ones in place aren’t logical. I swear they don’t want people to be successful. The more people stuck in the program, the more money they make.
The director of this facility don't what her problem is with me but she used to always be nice and helpful but I recently lost my insurance and I went in to dose on saturday and get my take home for sunday but that all… changed once she learned I did not have insurance I have been in contact with the new seasons corporate office they finally managed to get insurance but it will not be active till march 1st 2026. I went in to get my meds on Saturday and penny put a block on me to where I couldn't get my meds saturday 2/7/2026 and I couldn't get my take home for Sunday either so I have had to go to Brandon hospital across the street saturday and today sunday to get my dose. She was told by new seasons not to put a block on me nd to let me get my meds so yeah as far as I'm concerned I thought she was awesome at first but then boom I ended up with no insurance till march 1st 2026 her attitude did a complete 360 toward me. To be honest I don't think she needs to be working there anymore. She has no compassion for others. I will be back in touch with the new seasons corporate office first thing Monday morning and they will hear all about and I hope she gets FIRED she has no. Business working in a place like that and to be treating others so horribly. As I said b4 I have been in touch with the corporate office and they will definitely know what she has done to ms refusing to give me my meds cause of my inability to pay. I Do NOT THINK SHE (PENNY) SHOULD BE WORKING IN A PLACE LIKE THAT. SHE HAS NO COMPASSION FOR OTHERS. It could have killed me if I was to go without my dose for 2 days as I have a bad heart it would have killed me and Brandon regional hospital knows that so they did dose me Saturday nd today (sunday) how could someone sleep at night knowing what they r doing to other people it wrong if u ask me. But everyone else is great there I just wish (joy) would come back. I have no other problems with anyone else except for penny and I've been there a Lil over 2 year always had insurance up until a week ago but I will make sure some thing is done about it cause no one deserves to be treated the way she has me. She treated me very unfairly all cause I did not have insurance! Weather or not that was the case thats what it seemed like. She shouldn't be able to treat honest people the way she treated me. I am absolutely disgusted by the way she did me. Good thing is I did get my meds (thank god) but penny should not be able to people that way EVER!!! I WILL MAKE SURE SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT IT. BUT AS I SAID B4 EVERYONE ELSE THAT WORKS THERE IS AWSOME BUT PENNY SHOULD NOT BE EMPLOYED THERE.
Hi....I'm kinda new here.... been here for about 6 months and is my first time at any treatment center so I can't compare it to others like Tampa, etcetera.I can speak on this one in Brandon as being very nice and… accommodating. All the staff , including Penny, have treated me very fair and very feel welcome. My counselor is great,hell...they r all great...I enjoy group meetings with teesha,Amy,and Claudia and saying hello and chatting with Jamie as well...Penny has always been firm but FAIR and always pleasant to me....
I’ve been a patient here for years. I’m talking since Tampa metro days. The nurses are amazing. My counselor Amy is amazing. I’ve known Tesia since she was at the Tampa location and she needs a promotion! She’s great… with everyone super easy to talk to. I have to be honest Penny is a complete nightmare to deal with. In 15 years I’ve never had a complaint about anyone until now. I’ve seen a lot of people on here say the only people who have issues with her are the ones that don’t follow the rules. From first hand experience I’m here to say that’s not the case. I also have to add that when you keep to yourself here like I do you overhear A LOT. She’s been doing callbacks from unknown numbers with Bradenton and Orlando area codes and holding it against people when they don’t answer ( myself included.) If you have an opinion that differs from hers it’s immediate hostility and dismissal. I’m curious how my experience will be after posting this but the vibe in there is so negative anymore I had to say something. Let me reiterate that besides her everyone else here is absolutely amazing!
These people are great. The process to get treated is nice and easy. The whole staff is amazing . They were there right when i needed them . Thanks new season !
Can you guys please please hire a doctor so we don't have to drive in to do our telemed. It's out of hand that we constantly are burdened by your shortage of staff because the pay isn't proper.
I will never understand how this treament facility is so bad I was in tampa in nesbraska fir me it was the worst mistake to do the nursing is not Profesional at all and they don't care about us at if we go to do drugs… or loose our jobs and one of the persons I never thought that she never was going to say quit she gets paid to hold on pressure well I do them job she does I could not believe those words. Need nurse on Tuesday
Im very happy i transferred to this facility i had a very bad experience in the last on I was in(Jax) I didn’t think it would be different but im very happy that i gave it a chance all the counselors are very helpful… and nice and Ms. Penny the director was very understanding and she helped me all the way through my intake because of her I am actively working on my mental health which is a very big part of recovery thank you Ms.Penny for being understanding and welcoming ❤️
I am writing this review for my Brother because he wants to remain anonymous on google He said its a great place he has went for 2 and a half years and before that was at a dif location further south. He said the old… program director was very weird but nice but he made sure to say the new lady i dont know her name goes above and beyond to help people. The only thing he said he does not like is the counselor turnover. He said he has a new one every month and he tries to do groups but the times change every month also so he always comes at the wrong time or a day they moved the groups to. Other then the turnover and making it difficult for people that only go once a month this place is really good.
Good program staff is nice it's clean ...no one hanging out side...
I had to edit : I would have to say this place was almost falling apart. PENNY is very interactive with everyone in there. At fist There was always new directors and staff in and out all the time at one point TEISHA… PRESTON (amazing by the way ) she is amazing at her job. At one point she was doing everything and was the only counselor there i have been there since the day they open now there is CLAUDIA (amazing too) she great at doing group meetings and and she happen to change to my new counselor an will just call personally and check see why you didn't make it for the that day and if your okay if you missed that day due to car trouble or had an issues. Then there is AMY another great counselor always there to not only help with counseling but do groups and drug screens with a smile on her face moving like she had 8 arms like an octopus. Then there is JAMIE (another amazing one ) the one that you see when you have you have your U.A drug screens and also helps with intakes. You can walk by her office and there HAS NOT been one day she hasnt had that inviting warm smile on her face ready to talk and that just makes you feel welcome, she has ways of saying something positive to make you feel better, and if your having bad day she is the first to tell you keep up what you're doing everything will work out if you dont give up. she just lights the place up . NOW this treatment center had been running soooooo smooth since the new director PENNY has come in amd taken over and if there is a issue she will get it fixed almost immediately get the place 10backup and running and even she comes out of her office and talkes to every single patience waiting, telling them whats going on and that it its being worked on and will be up and running soon. Always keeping you updated always with a smile and always solving problems. I have to be honest i dont care some people dont like her cause she follows the rules she gets things done shes always there for you and if you dont like her for some reason its only due to your own fault cause you didnt follow protocol or rules posted they get in trouble if you follow rules everything runs smooth right? PENNY the new director i would have to say since she has stepped in she has been nothing but helpful she's always there for you, Also there is 904 health there now and just the way its run now is so much structured they help with alot of things i havent gotten to jse them yet personally but i know you dont habe to get blood drawn at quest diagnosis anymlre they draw the blood right there and then and that was somethinf we needed from the beginning but the past is the past it is so much better now the Nusrses are BYEOND GREAT I love them its the same 2 nurses window 1 and window 2 and they are both sweethearts thankyou for always being there to dose us all. Also Thankyou to anyone who gave PENNY the position as director and TIESHA PRESTON as idk what she is SHE DOES LITERALLY EVERYTHING AND ALWAYS HELPS OTHER EMPLOYEES AND PATIENTS to be honest i habe known TEISHA sincse new season of tampa and ive had her as a counselor off and on for 9-10 years and i have neever had an issue she has never had an attitude never lost her temper never spoken out of line never yelled if she has had a bad day she dkesnt show it i honestly feel like TEISHA PRESTON deserves a raise a promotion a bonus something and im not saying that to be silly im being honest. She has truly and honestly put in hard work when others have walked away then she did her job and the Jon of the one that walked away she has put in WORK and she stayed at that clinic when others walked away she stayed she worked no matter how stressed out she was she didn't show it or take it out on anyone she was a one woman show at one point she is a great asset to the team and company as well as PENNY like I said it wouldn't be where it is now with out her there as a director. A big THANKYOU new seasons company
The most unhelpful clinic director. Instead of helping she throws her patients outside to wait because you're trying to fix your situation. The nurse and counselors are very nice and helpful. She needs to get some basic… social skills.
So thankful to have found this place. 🙏
“Steph S” you sound dumb as hell. We’re not in high school anymore girl pull it together. As far as “ doing something I wasn’t supposed to do” which how the hell would you even know? You again sound stupid as hell… because I get my takehomes leave and have never once “ got in trouble” lmaooo your words not mine. I never said I got reprimanded , I said she’s rude. Why yall so pressed about someone else’s experience or opinion? You got yours I got mine. We are humans we don’t all get along. Not sure why that bothers you so bad. Breathe girl lol Edit: I think it’s hilarious that suddenly there’s been more reviews in the past week for this place than in the past year. Penny has never been mentioned in any reviews. She gets a bad review and immediately everyone knows? Every bad review that gets posted about her a good one immediately follows. Coincidence? Lol I think not. The only people who get notified of new reviews is the clinic itself. Seems like someone is trying to rack up good reviews for herself to offset the negative ones. Let me also say I don’t doubt some people have been treated wonderfully by this woman. Consider yourself lucky because clearly not all patients receive the same grace from her. Just because you’ve had a different experience doesn’t make anyone else’s experience not true. ————— I’ve been a patient at New Season since they took over Tampa Metro. I’m a model client, clean screens, no drama, I get in and get out. I have never had any issues or complaints until now. The new program director Penny is one of the rudest most dismissive human beings I have ever encountered. I’ve had multiple interactions with her and EVERY time I have left her office feeling completely defeated. She approaches every conversation as though she is above you. In the beginning I thought “Okay our personalities just clash,” but as time has progressed it’s been brought to my attention that this is not an isolated incident . I’ve heard multiple clients in line discussing how they have had similar experiences with her. The last time I went to discuss a situation with her she responded word for word “ That’s not my problem, don’t know what to tell you.” Recovery is hard enough without being constantly belittled at the establishment that you trusted to treat you. I have never dreaded stepping foot into this clinic until now. Penny’s approach to patient rehabilitation is completely opposite of what treatment is supposed to be. Not only is she a liability to your company but she’s a liability to every patient who walks through your door hoping to maintain or reach sobriety.
This is funny. One person is being so nasty because she got caught doing things she shouldn’t have been doing and is mad. So she trying to cause trouble. Penny is the Program Director and it is her job to deal with… people who aren’t doing what they should. This one person is telling everyone in the clinic she is writing these bad reviews and iss mad the rest of us are standing up for the clinic because they are doing their job. I have been coming here for over a year and have noticed a huge difference over the last few months since Penny arrived. She had hired more counselors, got people going to groups, and actually cares. The counselors and nurses are great. They work hard everyday and one person is trying to ruin it because she mad and don’t like being called out. If you don’t want us to defend the clinic, don’t tell us what you are doing. Duh. And own your own shit. Not there fault you did what you did.
I was hesitant when transferring from a different clinic but the whole process was super easy ! the staff is great ! The staff is willing to go above and beyond to reach our personal needs and goals. & Ms. Penny is… AMAZING! WITH her coming in as our director, it’s like a breath of fresh air for me ! I had met penny at a different location but she was director or that facility too & just like new seasons it’s been awesome having her there ! she always has her door open for anyone needing anything.. I pop in her door every morning just to say hey and she’s always happy to see me , and vice versa ! she keeps it professional when I have questions about my treatment and when I open up about personal things I know that what I say won’t go anywhere.. she never makes me feel less than ! she makes my day most mornings ! she’s done a lot to help me & im grateful ! She’s willing to do what she can to make sure I have the opportunities needed to be successful in my recovery . She does enforced the rules , which is a no- brainer . I know her position is hard some days so I give her much grace .. she has to keep up with all kinds of personalities in one place and keep everything running smoothly ! While maintaining staff and everything else that’s required of her so kudos to you MS PENNY ! I’m glad you’re the program director.
I'm reading some of these reviews and while most of them are accurate and give this place and the staff here the credit they deserve, there's a couple I just don't agree with and truly think it's unfair to blame others… when you can't take accountability for your own actions. The staff at this clinic are truly amazing, I've been here 6 months now and I've had an amazing experience. Especially with the director Penny, she has gone above and beyond for me and so many others i know at this location and I truly don't think she gets the credit she deserves. I couldn't imagine how hard this job I'd and she does it with grace and professionalism you rarely see at alot of other clinics. The counselors, nurses, and doctors here are awesome and all professional and good at their job. I'd consider the source when you read the bad reviews. I highly recommend this location if you're struggling. Five stars.
They don't care about you at all and are, by their own admission, all for profit. You get penalized if you are sick and do not attend a weekly group. The director, Penny, is extremely unprofessional and lacks any type… of empathy or compassion. They will cut your dose by 70% and not expect you to test positive for fentanyl. Obviously we are there for help, and they keep pushing you to use.
I'm a new patient to the clinic and have to say I've never had any issues with any of the counselors or the director Penny. All the counselors and the Director are very nice and get to know us on a personal level. There… are rules we have to abide by but they are very easy and manageable expectations from us. Penny is very accommodating as long as we follow the rules and do our part in the recovery process.
Honestly couldn’t believe how painless it was too get started at New Seasons. I called in desperation and was able to get seen the following day and start my recovery. Literally every person that works there has been… super friendly to me. They did not pay me to write this
The outpatient treatment program is structured fair and has the resources to support the help needed to maintain a stable recovery and do more than just function if one’s aspirations are more complex.. it’s really on… one’s effort and the staff is very helpful and accessible for when needed throughout the process. Plus it’s very chill for focusing on one’s purpose in being there.
The staff (counselors & nurses) are 100% friendly and professional. Very clean and secure, NO panhandling or drug deals in the parking lot (new clinic give it time) really really hoping it stays this way. Tesia is an… amazing counselor and an overall great person, I knew her when she worked in Tampa as well and believe she is definitely the counselor that you want in your corner. Most counselors in this field act like they are treading water waiting for a better job to come around but Tesia actually cares about her people and her position. Great facility definitely!!
Staff was very nice and helpful… had a miscommunication between my clinic in Camden and here where I was guest dosing and they were very helpful and nice and helped me resolve the issue to receive my dose during my… vacation
