Legacy Behavioral Health Center – Melbourne

First evaluation was virtual. The therapist didn't really appear to be listening. She looked like she just rolled out of bed, very unprofessional. Didn't look at the screen once and pretend she was listening. Was told… we needed more testing and someone would contact me next week. 2MONTHS LATER, no word from anyone, for 3 weeks I wrote in the portal, called and left messages, finally emailing someone to get answers. They called me to tell me that I must go to the port st Lucie office and I had no choice in the matter to basically take it or leave it. I was fuming. This is suppose to be helpful for kids and its a joke. I am very upset and disappointed it took me writing a nasty email to get any type of response from the offices. I know the office won't read this nor do anything about it either. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time. They dont want to help.

The incompetence in this office is just mind blowing. Do not take your child here if you care abut them. It took nine months for me to get the psychological testing done from these people. Then, when they finally send… me the psychological testing report, they keep putting that my daughter is a male, and that she goes to junior senior high, mind you she's ten years old. I've asked them three times to fix this, and each time they keep putting that, she's a male. Again the incompetence is mind blowing. These people are so incompetent, it's ridiculous. And on top of it, i've been waiting for a referral for aba therapy, that I still haven't received, and it's been over four months. This place is a joke. Do not take your child here if you care about him or her. I am done with this place. From day one, i've had a problem with this place. And they always seem to want to blame somebody else instead of taking responsibility for there incompetence. So recap, here it is a year later, and I still haven't gotten anything done with these people because for their incompetent.

Not very happy with them, a fellow friend tried to be seen there today and was turned away due to a balance she owes them. She is at a point where she really needs help and is talking about self harm, if this is a… mental health facility that is supposed to help people in these situations they shouldn’t be turning people away because they have a balance if anything happens to her, blood will be in there gands

Sabrina Croff is an amazing Counsler. She has given me such GREAT advice like breathing exercises to calm myself down. I did them and continue to do them (although I did not think they would work). She has also taught… me ways to deal with my anger properly and healthy because I would yell terrible things and break doors, punch holes in my walls. Now I am not doing that anymore, thanks to Sabrina. I am trying to change my anger patterns and do healthy things. Without her suggestions I would not be where I’m at now. I owe it to myself and say daily prayers. Without Sabrina’s help and my prayers I do not know where I’d be today. Thank you for all your help! Christina Shalosky

I love this place and the staff and aba threapaist they treat you like family

I was in my 2nd meeting and the guy on the tele-health meeting said I’m not allowed to drink water during my meeting. I literally had my own water. Then he ended the meeting. Zero professionalism. I will be charging… back and going elsewhere.

Ms Johanesen is literally perfect she understands my son so well. I would trust her with my son life. Legacy is very quick and getting everything my child needs

My son's therapist is amazing! She is trauma informed and sees my son as a person and not just another name on a chart. I appreciate all of her insight and desire to help my son get through his difficult experiences to… heal.

Joanne has been a really good therapist to my daughter! Any issues I have she talks about in their session and has given very good advice! She also is very flexible working with our busy schedules! She checks in with me… with any concerns and always gives helpful advice even to me! We are so blessed to have her in our lives! She makes a difference in this world! I highly recommend her! We have been with Joan Johanson for over two years and she is amazing. My grandson loves her as do we. She has helped our family tremendously and has a heart of gold. We look at her as part of our family.

I dont like this place anymore..I been waiting on a call from them about a case manager and therapist for a month and a half...I keep calling and they keep telling me so.eone is gonna call...I have have some bad drama… over the last week..I need to talk to someone badly...and they still haven't called me...I feel so abandoned by them..I need help now...if it wasn't for my medication I would be dead by now

Granddaughter has been going for quite a while 3 days before appointment they send me a reminder to accept the appointment or decline it and then within 2 hours send me another text and inform me that they no longer… take the insurance pretty frustrating when the child is on medication through them.

Been going here for years. Everyone has always been super friendly. Very convenient online appointments.

The doctor doesn't listen and didn't even show up to the last appointment my daughter and tried to say it was my fault he didn't show.

Terrible! I had to go here through referral and they ended up doing the wrong evaluation on me. Which has now extended my case with Dcf for months now waiting to get the right evaluation done that was on the referral,… And cannot even get a call back to make an appointment. They told me my insurance was no good to call back when I fixed the issue which I have been trying to call now for three weeks and still cannot even get a phone call back email back or any response at all. Worst experience do not recommend to anybody!!!!!!

Rude rude rude! I called trying to get my little one in and I told her I have been waiting for my new medical card for my son and I have been calling for over a week to get the number but with Medicaid I just have been… told to call back and hung up on. No one answers the phone there either! I was told by his insurance provider they do take it. I’m pretty sure they have an easier way to obtain that information than me! I won’t go there for the simple fact that whoever answered the phone had the typical attitude of anyone who hates there job!

Legacy has been a God send to me in my time of grief . I am very Blessed to have Tess as my therapist. She is very knowledgeable supportive and compassionate . I am pleased and so glad I found the help I need .
