Central Florida Treatment Center – Cocoa Detox and Rehab Services
Central Florida Treatment Center – Cocoa is recorded as offering detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Central Florida Treatment Center – Cocoa Reviews and Ratings
A review of Central Florida Treatment Center does not need to be long. If you were a patient or a family member, a few plain sentences on what went well, and what you wish you had known beforehand, will help the next reader.
This place saved my life. Well it just kept my life going. I got sober in Maine and then when I moved to Florida I was scared because I didn't know if there was going to be a place that I could go to and when I got her… and found Central Florida treatment center Play welcome to the end with no judgment. Reminding me that up north they seem to put you on any dose they want but because I was on a high dose they gave me a little gas but it was all in play. I've remained sober have work towards take homes and now possibly more take homes I couldn't be prouder of me and this place.Thanx Shayne
This horrible place DESTROYED the beautiful large (landmark) shade TREE! OMG, how TRAGIC and EVIL! WHY?! HORRENDOUS! Now when people get in their vehicles to leave, they've become death traps. Florida sun = 180-200°… INSIDE car, not the 140°, as previously thought. Everyone will need to open all doors and pray that their a.c. will start working. (At least it's only open for the earlier hours of morning). The world NEEDS more trees! That MAJESTIC TREE gave life saving shade. How is it POSSIBLE that this place is so CRUEL?! THAT is just VILE!! They need to plant some trees NOW, and NOT just shrubs. (I haven't been there; saw it from the highway).
First of all, I got there at 802 on a Saturday morning with 23 people still in the building dosing. I was told I couldn't dose because she was shutting the machines down. Meanwhile, I could not get in the parking lot… because there was an Uber driver in the middle of the parking lot that refused to move. There's no control over the parking lot. And that's ridiculous if somebody's in there dosing, you can't be shutting the machine down 2 minutes.
I have to say that since I have been going to this clinic every person working there has been nothing but nice to me! I really enjoy seeing the staff when I go in!
Ì started going to this clinic when I moved here from New York. Kaylee was my counselor and she was great she genuinely cared about my recovery and progress and growth. Since then Kaylee is no longer there and I was… assigned a counselor named Benny... he has put in 0 effort to help me with my treatment. He does the bare minimum as a counselor and its sad that my recovery was placed into the hands of someone who can care less about my recovery and is just there to receive a pay check, But they are administrative detoxing me for non compliance due to me having trouble urinating, but every month I have produced urine and passed my tests but they still treat me like I am bothering them, mean while I have given nothing but clean urine every single month some times late but I do produce and they are kicking me off of my medication. Benny needs to go this field is not for him. P.s Kirsty has been nothing but professional and helpful to me you can tell she genuinely cares about helping her patients get they're life's together and helping them with anything else they need I wish I was switched to her instead of Benny.. such a shame how little they care about they're patients life's.
I was up staying with my family during the memorial holiday weekend. I was a guest doser. I had made prior arrangements made through my home clinic. I was very pleased 😀 with how I was treated and welcomed as if I were… a regular patient. Hats off to the crew that works there. I can only imagine what types you may have to deal with since I used to live in Cocoa back in the 70s. Bless you all and thank you for making me feel right at home.
I would say that the program director of this clinic, Nicole Kemp, is one of the rudest professionals that I have spoken to in this profession. I do not understand how they can have someone with such an attitude problem… be the program director of a clinic. For some background information I am a supervisor of a methadone clinic and I was calling this specific clinic because a patient needed to set up guest dosing and was trying to transfer to this clinic. The patient spoke to me and told me to call the clinic because Heather did not want to use his phone to speak with me. I called the clinic and explained the situation and Heather told me what was needed. I informed her that I did not have a release of information and that the patient would need to fill one out at their clinic. She put me on hold and said she would need to ask her boss. Nicole got on the phone and basically didn't let me speak and questioned me as to why would they have someone who is not their patient sign a release of information. I asked her if they had any blank release and she said yes but that he is not a patient so she doesn't understand why. I explained to her what was happening and that it was short notice and also why she was having an attitude when I was trying to figure out how to help the patient out. I then proceeded to ask her if I can send my release and if that would work and she proceeded to say. I again asked why the attitude. Nicole proceeded to hang up the call. If this is the kind of help from the program director that this company is offering that, truly says a lot about the patient care that the company is giving. I would not recommend a place like this that would treat a complete stranger in this way. Where is the compassion, the kindness and the patient care?
If I could give this place a 0 star, I would never guest dose here I mean never it will be the worst experience. We have sat here for almost 2 hours, trying to guest does they will make your vacation they get a lot… people from out of town you think they be on top of this do not come here unless you want to spend your vacation here waiting to get your medicine he’ll if I can get zero stars I would
Very rude receptionist.
Horrible! Just tried to ask them a question on the phone and the lady was very rude. She was almost yelling at me! Her name is Heather, made me feel like I had to apologize just for calling trying to find if they accept… Medicaid! She didn’t want to hear anything I had to say she talked over me every time I tried to explain what I’m looking for. Just very rude people.
This place doesn't care about anyone. They don't even try to help they just turn people in need away. They have horrible attitudes and do not care about anyone but themselves. If I could give -5 stars, I would.
I have guest dosed across the country and have never dealt with people as rude and seemingly miserable as the employees here. Just give them a call. You’ll see what I mean.
Been there since 2008 I can't say if it's a bad place nor a good place anytime your an addict a place like this beats the alternative which is chasing your next fix or suffering from major withdraws!!! I pick a drug… treatment center any day of the week.
I have had a positive experience with this center and the staff therein. The counseling sessions and counselor assigned was a pleasure for previous 3 years. I recommend this place to anyone who is ready to turn their… life around, better theirselves or just to share life experiences with an unbiased opinion. God Bless.
They just increased price 60 monthly start August 1st. I don't get much counseling. I feel like a dollar sign there Ok so I have given it some time and they are really great people, you have to take into consideration… that they have been there for years, they do care, they changed my life ODAT
These people are just mean. Your expected to do the work for your counselor because if she forgets to do paperwork of count your meds or ask for proof of income they now say you the patient will be punished. The new… titusville clinic makes you pay a week in advance so why are they flipping out over proof of income and all they had to do was ask for it. And now threatening to take away my take homes if I don't produce proof of income for past 3 months. I can. But what if I couldn't. Why wait 3 months and never 1 time ask me for paperwork then bam want it all at once no warning or I suffer? Get your act together ❤️
Love my counselor and nursing staff. They understand my disabilities.I'm also glad they have a new person at the check in window. She's very polite and helpful. They will also help you come up with a detox plan that fits… you.I suffer from so many disabilities but they help me regardless.
The staff & counselors are great, but they charge way too much for private pay clients who are locked out of Medicaid, and they have no sliding scale or financial aid like other clinics. They just raised the price again… to over $500/month- that's outrageous, especially in a low-wage area like Brevard.
I went to this clinic 22 years ago but didn't stay I just wasn't ready yet I had 12 more years of hell to experience,,10 years ago I came back to this clinic never more ready I'd had enough and 10 years later methadone… matenance saved my life, I have my life back I highly recommend this clinic and this program everyone is really nice and my counselor Tammy is the best I can't say enough about this place just put down the needle and give it a shot no pund intended 🙃
