Groups Recover Together – Port Richey

I have been re-scheduled for the same appointment 4 times, not because of me, because of "human error" so I was advised. Website says typically seen and receive treatment within 1 business day. I understand weekends and… evening appointments may add on a day or two, however I was told originally I was scheduled for Friday and will see my provider that evening around 6, I have a 24 HR pharmacy so that was ok. Then I was re-scheduled bc someone scheduled me for the "wrong type of appointment" then I was pushed out till Monday, I was told 1pm but they actually scheduled it for 8:45am. then told no worries next available was Tuesday at 11, then I was told there was no appointment scheduled for that time............now I am being pushed out until Wednesday. Like this is the most unorganized process ever, talk to someone different each time, no notes are being recorded, no communication at all. And I dont get any notifications about anything, maybe bc the appointments are not actually being added in, but this has been a stressful process and ppl actually need help, this isnt a check up appointment or something minor. I am trying to change my life and I feel they are not taking me seriously, bc "oh I am so sorry, that was a plain oh human error, not that that is okay but well get you set with our next available so we can get you in as quick as possible" and then they don't even schedule to the appointment...............One star is an exaggeration, but that's the only way I can leave a review.

When times are sometimes ruff, or not going your way GROUPS is always there for you, 24 hrs a day and i love the meetings every week, I look forward to them and love my counselor

I started here in 2001 My counselor Ryan has been amazing and so has my Dr, Dr Hill she actually cares about her patients and listens to them even though she is leaving she will be greatly missed by us all

Ryan is the best counselor they have. He is very compassionate and caring I have been going to groups for almost 2 years and have had a couple different counselors, but Ryan is very compassionate he really puts his… heart into his people in his group he makes you feel cared about.

I'm so happy I found Groups♥️ The counselors are awesome- shout out to Ryan💙 and my office manager Alexa, 💕 The bond I have with my weekly group members is something that I cherish and is exactly what I didn't know I… needed! I've been with groups for a year and I have stayed on track with them longer than I have on my own, and my kids and I are forever grateful for that!

Groups Recover Together has helped me stay clean and has given me a sense of normalcy when I really needed it. It gives me something to hold me accountable in my recovery and they have help with all kinds of resources… if you need housing help with lights etc. They really do their best to make sure you have your meds at the pharmacy on time so you never run out as long as you do your part in taking your drug tests and stay involved j your weekly meeting on zoom. I appreciate all they have done to help save my life. Thanks Alexza and Ryan and all the ladies in my group for helping me stay healthy and on track 💕

I absolutely adore my group! My counselor Ryan is literally the best office manager Alezia who protects her people like mama bear especially when we are in a bad situation with a pharmacy Alezia got your back! To my… actual group who we have formed an actual little family I wouldn’t trade my groups for the world! And Dr Hill there are not many drs out there who support or even know what they are talking about when it comes to MAT medication so thank you for your knowledge support and just all around being down to earth and treating everyone as equals. They care, accommodate, appreciate, great recovery support, awesome counselors, very helpful office mgr , convenient, never have to leave ur house except to get ur meds, exceptional Drs especially Dr Brown. Kudos to… you. He is very very passionate about ur recovery and will go the extra mile for u. That is a rare gem in the recovery world of Drs, at least in my experience of 20 yrs. I have tried it all believe me . Cold turkey , methadone , all of it IF YOUR REALLY READY THIS IS WHERE TO GO. I PROMISE YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU CHOSE TO BE IN RECOVERY ...

Groups has single-handedly saved my life. The counselors are very knowledgeable, the staff is very accommodating. There isn't one week that has went by that I haven't learned something new.... The doctors are… compassionate and I feel like I belong to something very important. I would recommend groups to anybody suffering with addiction because not only do they give you the medicine provided so you can live a better life and be a normal productive member of society, but they also give you the tools to make it happen quicker than you can imagine. And I love all the women in my group and all the men too but for the most part I don't usually get along with women but I do in group. Ryan is my counselor and he is understanding and he's someone I absolutely relate to. Thank you for asking what I thought about it but I give five stars across the board and 100% trust in this program thank you very much 4 be leaving in me!!!! If you're not sure you want to stay in your addiction and go through all the trauma you're putting yourself through pick up the phone and give groups a call..... A truly do care and their medical staff know what to do to get you back on your feet quickly!!!!

The people that work actually care about you

Although I came to Groups with 15 months clean, all previous experiences with Dr's and counselors did not provide me with the support I am receiving here at Groups, and those were in person. I come away from each… session feeling better everytime. The closeness of the members and counselors is especially helpful. I can't wait to celebrate my 2 years clean with my group!! June 2nd here I come!!

I absolutely loveeee this group they didnt make me feel guilty for being in sobriety they truly helped! Some of them Use their own journey to help you with you own! I appreciate all the work that is put in to help… encourage others. Ryan is one of the best counselors ive had in a long time who i find it so easy to relate with. Alezia the office manager handles sooo much and is so encouraging. I have been through a few drs but dr hill makes recovery so easy! And understanding!
