West Palm Beach VA HCS – Delray Beach Detox and Rehab Services
What West Palm Beach VA HCS – Delray Beach offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

West Palm Beach VA HCS – Delray Beach Reviews and Ratings

I have been a few times and always pleasant!
Good.
I am not sure what happened but typically when I come to an appointment, my blood is drawn pretty quickly. There is no one in the back drawing blood at the moment and we have people waiting…it’s been 30 min thus far.… Moreover, I called last week and asked if I could schedule an appt the next day at 11:30am and she said “sure, we have an opening.” I arrived at 11:30am and they close at 11am. This location needs another person working there and longer hours.
The absolute kindest people. You never hear a lot of good story’s with the Va, but even in general… everyone at this location has been beyond kind, friendly and helpful. Doctors, techs and staff! I’m not sure if there… is a separate review for the labs building but WOW. Incredible job with the SWEETEST women!
Jine 2026 - I have had appointments with Doctors at this location over several years, however, presently I see the Doctors at the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach. This clinic is where i regularly attend for Blood… drawings. VA Staff organized and politely helpful. I provided a few photos of inside clinic.
If you are vet Great care given
Great staff, efficient, and clean.
They are the best bunch of people they keep me healthy
Nice place and helpful staff, can do a lot things there instead having to drive to the VA hospital
This clinic is absolutely one of, if not the absolute best in VA Healthcare. If you think otherwise your delusional. The VA saved my life and I have the utmost respect for the men and women who sacrifice $$ to treat us… with genuine love, care and respect. The front desk, laborotory and clinical staff get 5 stars from me!!! Dr. Macy and her team big shout out!
Updated review. I’ve been critical of this clinic but Friday I had an awesome visit. Many of the personnel have turned over to include reception. Dr Macy might be the best Dr I’ve ever seen. The whole staff was on top… of their game!! This clinic had improved significantly in recent years but today I had a dreadful experience. Starting at the left check in window I saw 3 people in front of me treated very rudely by the receptionist on the left window. They all had some complication on their appointments and the women rudely dealt with each one moving as slowly as possible. When I got up there she treated me the same way. I was then informed I had no appt with my Doctor that had been scheduled for months and even showed them my confirmations. So it was a wasted trip to then be treated like dirt by someone who clearly hates her job and has no concept of customer service or respect for veterans. The nurse did see me and apologized and told me to give her a letter. There seems to be a lack of clarity with who supervises reception and it appears as no one does. VERY disappointing all around considering at one point it appeared the clinic had cleaned up its act. One week after I wrote the review above I got a call from the same nurse at the clinic saying I had missed my appointment. This was just one week after she had personally confirmed both a lab and a doctor appointment for next week. The level of incompetence at this clinic is beyond belief.
I recently starting the Delray Beach Clinic. my new nurse, Margie, is the best nurse I have had the pleasure to deal with. She is very caring .
First time there I had a physical and no wait Time.
Terrible service. I should have just gone to the hospital in West Palm Beach.
Staff awesome, Great assett for local veterans.
This is a good spot. This is a clinic as the main VA is located in West Palm Beach but there is also another clinic just south of this located in Boca. Ample parking, automatic doors for wheelchairs but you should have… an appointment before coming here.
Never reached the person I called. No answer?
Dr. Glaser and physicians assistants Mccray are excellent health care providers. Very professional and very caring. I would highly recommend VA healthcare facility in Delray Beach.
called clinic for two days in a row. Nobody ever answers phones. I see why there are many one star reviews. Horrible customer service
Had a blood test. Disorganized now just like any other VA facility. The VA is now running this clinic as of 9/1.
You can never/never call this clinic because the receptionist will not answer the phone. If you call back too many times they forward you to some office in Illinois. Very poor Veteran care.
I had my first visit and I've never seen a staff that was so rude, incompetent and downright disrespectful. Shame on you, I will be reporting this clinic to VA as the lack of care is beyond ridiculous.
One of the most incompetent, rude, and overall lousy VA clinics I've seen. Saying they are unprofessional is an understatement. And that is impressive given the VA's reputation. Unless you want your appointment… rescheduled 4 plus times, go somewhere else even if your doctor isn't there. They have zero care for their patients and will make your life as difficult as possible. I've never experienced medical care at such a low level. Every doctor and front desk person should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
My husband had a phone appointment today at 1:30 and when he received a phone call, they hung up immediately. My husband tried to return the call to no avail. The nurse’s extension rang forever but was never picked up.… I tried to call the operator and the same problem occurred. The phone continued to ring incessantly but was never answered. This was at 1:45 and again at 2:00 pm this afternoon. How disrespectful and rude the VA has become. There is no excuse for this type of behavior. This never happened before and as a veteran, my husband and I are shocked and disappointed by today’s rudeness.
Everyone at this site has been very professional, but caring and laugh in the process. I have been a patient for several years and it is night and day vs a visit to West Palm. I am so glad they are here. I got new… hearing aides here and the staff understands all of the technology for blue tooth and new devices. Awesome!
After listening to the answering service for a ridiculous time. Where Veterans come first No one answers the phone. They think along with me it’s a God dam joke. Never return calls . Not an isolated incident. Always the… same. 0 stars
The service is great once you enter the door! BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!! I currently have been on hold for 45 mins just to get the front desk. This is just not acceptable in any way. This happens every-time I… call this location. What is going on over there.???????
Great doctor and staff and when I go there my experience is great. Taking one star away because they NEVER answer the phone. I am trying to call my Doctor back and she didn't leave a number. The front desk is ringing… more than 100 times with no answer. I tried 5 times. How am I supposed to contact them?
