Borinquen Medical Centers – Miami (3000 Biscayne Boulevard)

My experience in Puerto Rico, especially with the Case Management Department at 3000 Biscayne Boulevard, was very disappointing. After informing them on several occasions that I needed to keep my case open while I… arranged my move to another state to avoid interrupting my medical treatment, my file was closed without my authorization. Subsequently, I was denied care and informed that I had voluntarily waived my services, which was untrue. As a result, I had to go to another institution to receive Case Management services to avoid an interruption in my treatment. In my experience, I felt there was neither the necessary interest nor diligence to protect the continuity of my care. For this reason, I personally would not recommend the Case Management services at this location and would suggest that others research this service thoroughly before choosing it.

Hey so THEY DELTED MY REVIEW SO ITS ONLY WRITE THAT I DO ANOTHER REVIEW WITH THE ENTIRE DETAILED STORY. I’ve made two separate appointments. They canceled my son’s appointment at 4:47pm. The appointment was the next day… at 9am. If you are familiar at ALLL with these clinics you’ll know they are the absolute worse in customer service. But, the MDS are usually amazing. BUT, not at this location. The director DR. ACOSTA IS AN ABSOLUTE ABOMINATION TO THE THERAPY PROFESSION. I also spoke with MARIA THE MANAGER OF THE BUILDING WHO AGAIN WAS A DISASTER. All of these people blamed me. Their employees failed over and over and OVER. But the interested parent is the problem. Later on in the same day I received a call from one of the other directors who honestly sounded like she had a gun to her head and was forced to deal with me. I understand these people aren’t paid enough or whatever. But this is LUDICROUS. IVE ALREADY REPORTED THE OFFICE AND THE MD. As these people should not be working in mental health if they aren’t properly equipped. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER. I’m assuming this will also be taken down but no problem I have tons of time. Especially, when it comes to the treatment of my son. I also recorded the calls but they can’t be added here. Feel free to reach out to me if you’d like to hear it. Oh and if you’d like to join me in a civil suit against this clinic and the Md please let me know. Apparently, this is common at this location.

If I could give their customer service zero stars, I would. I tried to schedule an appointment with the OB-GYN and ended up playing phone tag with them. They would call, let it ring for a few seconds, and hang up. This… went on for about an hour—I called back three times and couldn’t even get through because they kept disconnecting so quickly. It was extremely frustrating not being able to answer before they hung up. If this is independently owned, management should really take a closer look at the receptionist team. They’ve just lost a potential new client.
