Easterseals MORC – Auburn Hills Address, Location and Contact Information
2399 East Walton Boulevard, Auburn Hills, Michigan, 48326 is the address held. The city lies within Oakland County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Got me on the right medications. Poor customer service and they make you do a bunch of extra stuff just to get your medicine.
Dana was an amazing therapist who cared deeply for my child, with her he made monumental progress in many areas of struggle. When my child went to Keith, there was not much help the man provided him, sessions were not… productive, and no progress made. Gabby is a terrible 'therapist'. She refuses to listen, communicate, follow any sort of court documentation or custody agreements, or answer any of my questions, or schedule during a time for which I can attend. She doesn't care about my child and 1hr sessions are always 30mins and my son has only gotten worse. She's lazy, arrogant, unethical, uneducated, niave and unprofessional. She won't even give me any form of progress report, treatment plan updates, or even an appointment list. Her supervisor is no help either. I've resorted to involving the courts, hiring a lawyer, and involving Licensing in order to advocate for my child. These people should lose their licenses and be sued for their negligence.
Adding another review to post that I spoke with someone higher up than Jennifer or "jenny" and was told we did indeed qualify for Sara and when she comes back we would get her but guess what?? Jenny is making her same… claims so now I will be going to the very top as far as I can get and making sure everyone i know is aware of this. We loved Sara and if it is her who does not want us as patients then thats fine but promises were made and people have been extremely unprofessional. I will keep complaining till I get REAL answers.
I would give negative stars if I could! My child had a mental health issue and we were referred to them and was told we would receive a phone call within 48 hours, ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS! I was told you were required by law… to call within a period of time. Well guess what nobody has picked up a phone. Do happy to see how you really treat people having mental health issues! Shame on all of you!
The worse experience in 24 years of attending they refuse to listen to you and your body, they just wanna push drugs they get kick backs on, they gave me 2 seperate blood pressure pills that caused me to have 3 false… heart attacks. After being warned my blood pressure is and always remains low. My fam dr was pissed and asked why the hell would she prescribe you that? I said I have no idea i explain my condition. Her response it's the lowest dose you'll live. Wow glad she was atleast right about me not dying.
If i could leave less stars I would! Our therapist left for maternity leave. We were told she would be back. We have been with the same therapist for a year and my son really struggled in the beginning but has finally… started to open up. Since our therapist went on leave we have had two other therapist step in to fill her spot till she gets back. Neither of these therapist worked. One of them decided doing her press on nails and make up in the car was more important than meeting my adhd child for the first time. I was NEVER told my child would be restricted to a certain amount of time with his regular therapist but after a conversation with Jennifer asking her if we could just wait for our new therapist she ever so kindly informed me that "everyone has trauma and if my son can wait that long for his regular therpist to return he may no longer need home based services. She told me they have a shortage of therapist so my child needs to give up the therapist he is FINALLY making progress with. I myself am a patient and know that there is no limit for the children. O have checked this with other supervisors and will be taking the proper action until I get answers or until I get my therapist back. I also want to state that when I asked her if my child's trauma "qualified" for home base she responded by telling me "we all have trauma" a supervisor of therapist is speaking this way to a client's parent. I am beyond disgusted. Im greatful to MY therapist for helping me get through this. This right here is exactly the reason people hurt themselves. You get help and then nasty people come along and take it when you need it the most. I beg everyone to go somewhere else if you care about your kids mental health! Adding that if someone calls me it better not be jennifer!!
The only way to get service is to call recipients rights..then they magically come up with the answers. Call recipients rights if you want your child taken care of for real. But I can say by psychologist Dr faucett need… to retire every kid gets addrell or Zoloft and is rushed job out his office. He is very old and nervous. Lol.. he will fall asleep on u.
I'm in love with one of your therapists at the Clinton township office Krystal Lepoudre Johnston she's has saved my life and I am eternally great full I could write books about her and how much she cares and help I wish… her only the best and she deserves a promotion or a raise therapist of the year.🥳❣️
I am experiencing the same exact things as everyone else giving these people low scores. My son has therapy through the Clinton Township facility and I have experienced nothing but issues. My ex-wife is brainwashing our… child and all I'm trying to do is get him to help he needs and they have muted me during meetings, disrespected me in front of my son, and told my son that my wife/ his stepmom doesn't matter and he doesn't have to listen to her. I have records that would Enlighten them with who I am, my new wife is, my ex-wife is, and my 16 year old son is becasue we have been to other facilities that were amazing but he graduated from and then we started having issues with him again and took him to easter seals. All they say is that's the past and the past doesn't matter and I've explained to them that it would tell them what kind of people we are and all the lies and stuff my ex tells them are fase and in the records and it would tell them then my ex-wife is lying to them and they blame me because my son is violent at my household and I've told them that he almost pushed my 5-year-old down the stairs because he was mad that he lost against her in Uno which we were all playing but he claimed she cheated and try to push her down the stairs fortunately I was there to catch her and also explain to them that he tried to attack my 7-year-old because he wanted to sit on a trampoline and she wanted to bounce and he tried to attack her and I had to jump in front of him and take his punches otherwise he would have severely injured my daughter. And all they say is Almost Doesn't Matter and they don't take me seriously and have expressed that he blacks out and says that when he gets violent he blacks out and doesn't know what's going on and they are not getting him the help that he needs. It blows my mind at a place like this could still exist when they are so negligent and I am just trying to get him help he needs and to keep my household safe and they don't show any signs of doing anything unless they can sit in their chairs and click a mouse and now I'm not even involved in the meetings that they have and I constantly request records from them when I read through the records it shows that they just listen to whatever my ex says and our son says and our son says whatever his mom wants and they make me out to be the bad guy. I'm actually trying to get in home therapy and I was told he was denied because of a score that his therapist put false information in and so he wasn't tested properly and you don't see that if I'm asking for in home that I couldn't possibly be part of the problem because I'm inviting people to come to my house and see what's going on so he can get the help he needs and my other children are afraid of their brother and just want him to get help so they feel safe
I would never recommend this place to anybody you can never get a hold of anybody they never sent you a bill they have messed up the two past blood draws on my son the therapist that they gave my son kept canceling… appointments they are better places out there than Easter seals
Worst place possible to go for your children/ very bad communication skills/ they have no accountability for their actions/ therapist will put words in the child's mouth to make them radicated in their sessions so they… can prolong services/ when you complain they keep it all in the same building as they all work together to triangulate them doing wrong doing/ fortunately I have a remedy. When having parent/ child sessions the therapist will bring up legal talk/ they will even try to make the child feel guilty for not sating what the therpist what's them to say....... this therapist knows exactly who she is and she's about to be accountable for.
Terrible place. The psychiatrist that I saw here didn't take into account my chronic health conditions and tried prescribing me SSRIs after I told her I had an allergic reaction to Lexapro in the past. She's like, oh,… they're not the same. Went to pick up the Paxil she prescribed me instead and the pharmacist refused to fill it due to my allergy. But whatever, they're looking out for you, right? Also in 6 months time (if even that long) I went through 4 therapists because they all kept leaving. With my last one, I had completely forgotten I had a Cardiologist appointment and texted her asking to reschedule. Never heard a word from her and got a letter a few weeks later saying they pretty much dropped me. Good riddance, goodbye.
Do not take a child here. Constantly threats to call CPS on you. They do not help kids with mental illness whatsoever. I thought I would give easter Seals a second chance, but nope still the same they do not care.… Therapist also do not help same threats.🤬🤬
Unable to start services for my child due to therapist not having later availability. When asked to change they said none of them had availability. I tried to reach out to multiple people case worker, therapist etc… heard nothing back. Never had a issue before been going here with my other child for years but it is starting to become a non helpful place. Just sad it has to be considered high risk to get mental help for your child.
Unorganized. Worked out as last resort. Horrible!!!! A other government help
This place is AWFULLLLL. My son was a patient here for a year and it was pointless as hell. Dr. Faust (psychiatrist) didn’t listen to ANYTHING I told him when it came to the medications and how my son was acting. Always… cut me off, and come to find out nothing I ever told him seemed to be documented and I only found that out because the psychiatrist we switched to towards the ends of our run was SHOCKED there was nothing on file I was referring to when we had appointments with her. Front staff always made me laugh to because they want you to put on a mask but half of them are sitting there without one, That’s all 🤣
I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and… myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Thanks for all the help easterseals. You have a 5 star review from my family!!
We have been going here for years. We’ve seen a few doctors and therapists. I have never had any issues with any of the staff, doctors, or therapists. We’re always treated well. If you’re looking for pediatric/… adolescent care I highly recommend Dr. Greer. As far as therapists go Sarah Mathew and Elissa Redman are amazing!
This place is full of the most disgusting people. Highly recommend not dealing with this place. I had taken my child here only to realize these people unhygienic. The bathrooms were disgusting. NEVER taking my child… here again.
Hello I'd like to give a shout out to Easter seals for taking the time and helping my grandson getting to the programs and helping him to communicate and learn about coping with his mental health and his medications and… letting him know that he is not the only child out here dealing with mental issues so now he does not feel alone or embarrassed because he goes to Easter seals. He has met several other youth and after these few years at Easter seals he is ready to take on a summer job in the youth program. So very proud of him thank you Easter seals.💯
We had our evaluation the 3rd week in November and STILL have no report on our evaluation and we are now going into March! OH, they did find time to send us a $600 bill for their services after insurance paid out, yet I… have not one returned phone call, email, or any report or feedback from our evaluation in November 2019. Monday is March 2nd 2020, I would never recommend this company for any evaluation. The time frame for any feedback is completely unacceptable. Especially since feedback is directly effected by insurance services based on diagnosis. Previously with another child we had experiences at U of M for same type of evaluation and we left with the evaluation results and were able to get treatment in line immediately. At this rate who knows if Easterseals will EVER know the results of our evaluation. If I could give a 0 star review for them , I would.
Their new nurse practitioner is nothing but a liar and sticks her nose where it doesn't belong. I will be calling Monday morning to file a complaint. Do not see this new practitioner. She is very unprofessional, and… extremely unethical. She has no regard for parental input or rights.
Not only is this the sylheti very unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate. They sit there and they blow smoke up everybody's behind they tell you they're going to treat your children a certain way and in return they do… not. One of my children has been involved with this facility for more than a year and they continuously change workers on her the management team does not keep both parents up-to-date versus phone calls emails or text messaging. This group is also a very sexist group towards men, I have so much more against them including recorded conversations and much more. At this point in time as of January 4th 2018 I have flared this was sylheti and inform them to stay the hell away from my daughter otherwise I will file state complaints lawsuits and federal complaints as well as file a complaint with the attorney general in the state of Michigan I'm making it loud and clear Eastern seals do not contact my daughter anymore you have failed to protect her
I do not recommend this facility to anyone. They called to cancel my daughters med review and refused to give her her medication because she was supposedly not following their regulations. The regulations that we were… never informed about. I pleaded with the secretary on how dangerous it was to just cut off a child from their meds. They made no suggestions on how we could fix the issue. VERY DISAPPOINTED
