Holcomb Associates Inc – Kennett Square

If a member of your colony is passive-aggressively attempting to control me (i.e. "concerned" that I am not living my life the way he or she would like), then EVERYONE who stands with that person by working with them… gets slammed - regardless of what my relationship has been in the past with YOU, professionally. A member of staff at this particular Holcomb Behavioral Health facility in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania who works with my brother, Colin, has a lot to say about me - apparently. This individual, named "Jeffrey Carroll," was supposedly holding a conversation with Colin recently about my apparent connections with "Gavin Newsom" (the current governor of the state of California) and "other high-ranking academics" in the state of California. This was the SECOND TIME Colin informed me that Mr. Carroll had my name in his mouth and was commenting on my life. Colin claimed to me that Mr. Carroll had informed him that such information regarding my political and professional endeavors was apparently discussed in a conversation I held with Mr. Carroll. The fact is that I held a conversation with Mr. Carroll ONCE while I was present at this facility to accompany Colin. This particular conversation that I held with Mr. Carroll was STRICTLY to answer questions about Colin, because Colin is his client. In this conversation or elsewhere, I did NOT discuss with Mr. Carroll my involvement in the sciences and politics. I will not write too elongated review about this as I simply lead too busy of a life and do not have the time. However, I will make this point VERY concise and VERY plain, as my work is remarkably serious to me: I would prefer that this "Jeffrey Carroll" individual leave my name OUT OF HIS MOUTH. I am NOT involved in any sort of business relationship with Mr. Carroll, and I do NOT appreciate him constantly commenting to Colin about me and aspects of my life that have zero relevance to Colin. If he has opinions on political figures or academics in the state of California, then it should be his prerogative to speak to those people directly. I am NOT an associate of this person.

My brother has complaining about this place for way too long. Enough is enough!

Incredibly disappointing. This was the location I went to and I will not be going back.

They have a program group daily for 3 HOURS!! I would understand maybe 2 but 3. Little too much. Kali is the best

Would not let talk to Carter my old therapist. Dier times and oh well I can't do that. I was his patient. Horrible customer service

They always put you on hold or don't pick up.

Pshhh my brother went without his psych meds for months at a time on more than one occasion when his dr would decide to leave early or reschedule on him and wouldn't prescribe his meds until he was seen again, but would… be impossible to reach and reschedule anything..my brother would have to go to er and get his meds for 7-10 days because of it smh they shouldn't be open in my opinion.

This place is primarily money motivated.. with karren staff members presenting there self in a manner of patient being worthless lowlife, and they're extremely judgmental .. Upper management however tends to be a little… more reasonably sympathetic to the level of care there patients get.. But nevertheless money motivated as opposed to care oriented.. this post will come down when they prove otherwise..

When it comes to doctors canceling appts your left with no meds for the month. So your on your own, no back up plan with any other Physician. So the patient and caregiver are the ones whom suffer SMh..

I have been coming here for almost three years now with my child and this place is so unprofessional. Very unorganized. They will make you wait days even weeks to give you meds for your child smh. I would recommend… going to another mental health organization. This place should get better management that can fix this place up because it really needs to be worked on. Terrible customer service and just not a good place to bring your child to.

The psychiatriast was very unprofessional and I was told to not come back because I missed an appointment I did not make. I would not recommend.

Massive confusion all over the place. Multiple appointments with Dr. K had to be re-scheduled and the therapists themselves aren't the best. Natalie was the best I ever had but sadly I only ever saw her once. I had a… med appt about 2 months ago and still haven't received my meds. I don't recommend Holcomb unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

I have been with Holcomb for 2 months now and the treatment is excellent. I was set up with an intake interview 3 weeks from the day I called, then I was matched with a therapist the day of my intake appointment. She’s… a terrific therapist and very kind and empathetic. The staff is thoughtful and they text and call me every week to remind me of my appointment. I am able to schedule my appointments up to a month ahead, which is great. I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking to start or restart (as I did) therapy, it is a safe and comfortable environment to be.

Therapist is nice. Initial intake took a month because they kept rescheduling my intake. Got sent to another therapist for a second intake the following week. Had a confirmed appointment with the psychologist and it… wasnt even in the system. Guess I have to wait another 2 months

This Office is a joke. Expect to schedule an appointment for one day but have a confirmation call with a different date and time. Wait has not been over 30 min. Some therapist have Saturday hours. Getting in contact… with facility psychologist is an over 3 month waiting list. They do not return calls, recommended you to call and leave several voicemails to get in contact with someone.

This place is a joke and pushes people to take more drugs. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone has ever relapsed from going here.

My son has been using their services for 2 years. Its not perfect but nowhere is. He has progressed a lot since starting the wrap around program.

Glad it's not an emergency situation left a message at 10am and now 12hours later still no call back
