Banyan Philadelphia – Langhorne Detox and Rehab Services

What Banyan Philadelphia – Langhorne offers, on record, is partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Banyan Philadelphia – Langhorne Address, Location and Contact Information

The site is at 100 North Buckstown Drive in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, 19047. Langhorne sits in Bucks County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

The first customer service representative provided misinformation on eligibility. My family had exhausted all options and was counting on this to work out. When my younger brother went through the eligibility interview,… he was denied due to a medication he takes to manage his illness. The medication that the customer service representative specifically said wouldn't be an issue. This resulted in disappointment. The second customer service representative confirmed the denial due to medication and was heard cursing after they thought the phone call was over when really it wasn't. Very unprofessional.

Banyan twisted my mind like a pretzel and turned me against my family when I needed them most. Hannah manipulated me and she is directly responsibly for the year of my life lost basically being homeless after my… treatment, which was cut short because 2 other males were being troublesome in the house and needed more care. To top it all off, Kali from Banyan messaged me today (3 years later) to remind me of the horrible experience.

Banyan Treatment Center in Langhorne, PA has declined significantly. I attended this facility twice within a six-month span, and each experience was worse than the last. Patients are argued with over a $1 medication… copay, which is unacceptable in a mental health and addiction treatment setting. I personally witnessed a mental health patient deteriorate emotionally and ultimately be discharged and sent to a homeless shelter, instead of being properly supported. Patients were allowed to sleep in class for weeks, which feels like a misuse and abuse of insurance billing rather than actual treatment. There is little accountability or therapeutic engagement. If staff decide they do not like you, you are simply discharged—no meaningful due process, no concern for continuity of care. There is also a serious inconsistency in programming: despite having an all-male drug and alcohol group, there is only one male staff member, and he does not facilitate the male therapy group. This raises questions about appropriateness and effectiveness of treatment. For comparison, the Banyan facilities in Florida operate at a much higher standard. The Philadelphia/Langhorne location is currently under zoning and health department review, which is public record and can be verified. Based on my experience, this location is not providing the level of care that vulnerable patients deserve.

Of course every place has their flaws, however I've never met a staff that truly cared so much for the patients. This isn't a job to them its a way of life. From the techs, to clincial staff, therapist and the higher… ups. Nothing during my time there fell on deaf ears. Id advise anyone coming to treatment there to swallow your pride and be open and listen. A brief background of myself, im very opinionated and strong willed so of course I knew everything or at least I thought I did. The staff here really did everything they could to reassure me over and over that I can get better. I just needed to get out of my own way. They were 100% correct. The techs always made me feel like this wasn't a house it was my home. People like Andy, Melanie, Leigh Ann, Amethyst, Jose, Stan and of course my OG Allison have always shown me that mine and my fellow housemates best interest was always top priority. Their stories and generosity is truly inspiring. I never felt judged or unwelcome They really care about each and everyone of us. They may be on the ground floor regarding job titles but they definitely are the foundation that keeps this facitly standing. The clinical staff such as Max, Morgan, Curtis, Michelle, MK, their doors are always open when needed. Whether they're running groups or plugging away in their offices they are always willing to stop and listen in the time of need. They too along with the techs are going to be your biggest cheerleaders towards a better life a sober life. While you will notice vast differences in some of their approaches PLEASE keep your ears open because they all reached me in different ways even though I didn't see the value they offered right away. Collectively, its a excellent group to learn from. While my time with Alex a therapist was limited it was very insightful and gave me a different way to see things that definitely resignated with me. As for my personal therapist Jackie, she was amazing. Her door was always open whether it was to pop in an say hi when I needed to vent or just shoot the breeze. Our sessions together allowed me to open up to a point I never had before. Even during her groups she may come off fun and playful, but there is a method to everything. Last but certainly not least, listen to your peers in those rooms. They come from all different backgrounds, gender, race age etc. They offer true wisdom and real life experiences. I personally never met a sober addict that didn't light up a room. These people will teach you more than you could imagine if youre willing to listen and do the work. Ill leave you with this, all of the above comes from someone who has been to 2 detox, 3 other rehabs, never lasting more than 6 total days. Banyan and their staff and clients made me feel at home while I battled through and not for a second did I ever feel alone while I was there. My goal now is to get my life back and whether it happens or not is upto me and me alone but Banyan gave me the tools I need to have a fighting chance, so thank you. KR

I have been blessed and truly grateful for the staff and how Banyan has treated me and gave me a fresh start. They are very professional and will go up snd beyond to help you feel safe and welcomed to the new comunity.… Special shout out to Andy who has always been a solid source for communication and stability in recovery and helps everyone he comes into contact with. Leighann for her listening skills and understanding and her down to earth presence and professionalism. Melanie for her warm presence and caring heart to help all she cross passes. Truely a wonderful experience. They give you the ability to change your life if you put in the work. Also for the clinical side: shout out to Jackie, Curtis, Alex and Michelle.

Doctors cant get meds right in the computer when rhe direction are clearly on the perscription bottle. I have severe gastritis and take meds before I eat to not only control the stomach acid but to help with the… inflammation. The dr here will only let me tale it ay breakfast. Causing tremendous pain in my stomach amd vomiting. They couldnt care less about their patients. I asked to check out amd was told NO. I have to wait till tomorrow so the are keeping me prisoner overnight. Amythisy can't drive the speed limit with patients in The van. This is Amythist driving a van full of patients from the "farmhouse" to the apartments. 69 in a 55 racing past traffic amd excellerating at high speeds to pass. Find another facility. They search everyone's car. My truck was left unlocked. Incompetence.

Counselor Danielle is extremely competent and is the personification of integrity. Banyan's counselors are progressive, humane, and highly skilled. The psychiatric nurse ("Judy in the sky"), is exceptional. Kudos all… the way around and "hats off" to BANYAN management for such superb personnel selections! No one comes close to knowing all there is to know in the realms of the human heart, mind, and/or collective soul. However, it is easy for this (once) PHRP Certified Researcher to realize that our counselors' attempts to help us are being made with compassion and care. To paraphrase my second (2nd) favorite carpenter, keep the faith and "we've only just begun." Blessings to you all, Richard Morfopoulos PhD, M.S. with distinction

The Staff working in this facility are top Tier! My daughter received the best care at Banyan. The way they heard me out, coordinated care, and made decisions based on her best interest is impressive. Dani and Amy were… wonderful to work with. They understood I was unable to answer phones due to my schedule but I am great at responding to emails and they effortlessly shifted to sending me frequent email updates sometimes a few within 2hrs. Banyan Philadelphia staff incorporates the family's opinions. True Professionals, Thank you Banyan!

i think coming to banyon saved my life in many ways. before coming here i was depressed, doing all sorts of drugs and that went on for years. involved myself with bad people. Over the course of just one month i’ve met… amazing people and therapists who have completely changed my perspective on life and view of the world, i wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of Caron, Dani, aleah, and my many many peers. i’ve made great friends along the way many to whom are very supportive in my journey. i was scared coming here but everyone made it easier. i do say if you’re feeling lost of hopeless, banyon is the way to go, i’ve been to many treatments nothing has helped quiet like this one. (i think the staff members here play a HUGE part) thank you for the memories and everything ive learned banyon, i will be taking it with me and learning more as i go. peace out banyon, and when im famous and singing in front of millions of people i’ll be sure to mention my story. 💞

This place was absolutely amazing. From the first phone call everyone was so caring as is they were family. Someone even stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to keep me calm while waiting for the driver. The… facility itself is great! The staff, they are some of the most amazing people I ever met in my life. I miss them all so much. The way they rehabilitate is great. They do little things to make sure we have some time to chill which was extremely nice. I hope to go back there very soon, but as a staff member, not a patient. My one and only complaint is the patients aren’t allowed to keep in touch with staff/other patients. I had some friends write me letters and draw me pictures, but they never mailed them out. That was extremely disappointing. I understand not being able to visit, but not letting the letters go out doesn’t make sense.

Today was my last day at banyan, as an 18 year old with no direction in life and struggling with derealization… This place was an absolute life saver. In my months stay I was able to recover and feel in my own body… again. I even want to go to college! Which before I had no clue. I cannot praise the staff, techs, and fellow patients enough for the lifelong memories that I will take with me throughout my life. I recommend this to anyone struggling with anything. God bless banyan and i’m happy that I got to be a part of it.
