Bluebonnet Trails Community Services – Bastrop Detox and Rehab Services
Bluebonnet Trails Community Services – Bastrop is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services – Bastrop Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 275 Jackson Street, Bastrop, Texas, 78602. Bastrop County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

All they do is call the cops. No one else is home just me, no suicide threats or anything like that. Yet why are the cops at my door? I was just calling to talk to somebody. So don’t call this place if you just wanna… talk. I personally know, reaching out to people next to you to discuss. Personal issues is not what any of us wanna do. So they say this is a safe place, then why cops at my door? Do yourself a favor don’t call it’s actually worse than what you think you’re feeling now
Following my illness with COVID-19 and the flu, which also affected my family, I attempted to contact the dental office multiple times via their answering service but did not receive a return call. Despite my repeated… calls and messages, I was not contacted. The office's failure to communicate and notify patients of appointment cancellations is, in my opinion, rude and unprofessional. I previously had an issue with the front desk, where the call was disconnected, and when I called back, I was informed that it was thought the call had dropped. However, the professional response would have been to immediately return the call. In my observation, the front desk staff often engages in personal conversations while on the clock, which I believe is unprofessional, patients come first! The doctors are awesome I have no complaints about them but the front desk ladies need to be replaced and until they are, I do not recommend primary care or dental!
The Dentist Dr. Kol and her assistant did great! They were both very sweet and thorough with instructions. 😁 Slowly getting my teeth fixed and im glad i have them to trust!
My child was rescheduled several times just to be told there was no one available or that we needed to reschedule.
The fact that they cancel your appointments or just don't call for over the phone appointments is ridiculous. Been out of medications from a previous doctor for 2 months, and Bluebonnet just keeps making me wait to even… speak to anyone. I can only imagine the amount of people that are no longer here due to the inadequacy of this "clinic".
Had been a beneficial and helpful place for care.
Referred by M.D. for mental health services. Attended initial visit, and requested services for mental health ONLY...no medical, case management, or psych services needed. As a former therapist I requested mental health… services only. Came for second appointment and had b.p. drawn and appt scheduled for a Psych eval! Online... Was told that I said I would use online services.... that was the only option. I specifically requested an in office appointment with a therapist. I was desperate for a therapist. And, I have a right to request this kind of service. So much for client rights. I kept saying that I must have misunderstood. Finally left after requesting reimbursement for no services rendered. I figure that I am still alive due to a precious personal lifeline. I have directed other social service agencies and am appalled at the attitude of one of your staff persons, in particular. Will NEVER ask help from this agency again.
I went into the Bastrop Bluebonnet Traill Clinic to get a refill on a control substance. The nurse practitioner knew it, as the second she walked into the room, she acknowledged what I was there for and I said yes. She… never listened to my breathing with a stethoscope - nothing. She stayed on her laptop computer the whole time and at the end she said she could not prescribe what I needed, but she could give me two weeks of it. I hope this is making more sense to you than it did to me... She prints out a script, signs it and hands it to me to take to the pharmacy. When I take it to H-E-B they almost laughed me out of there, because they said bc she's a nurse practitioner: 1. She can't be prescribing a controlled substance 2., Scripts have to be faxed. They cannot take a handwritten note. Lastly, I called back and spoke to the Clinic supervisor at Bastrop & I'm told that, the doctor that comes to the clinic, infrequently, may not be able to prescribe it either even after seeing me. This is a clinic out of control & that is dangerous.
My wife is in terrible pain from dental problems. She went in got evaluated, got blood test and antibiotics. Was told to take Ibuprofen and Tylenol for pain. That's a joke. She called twice to try and get some relief,… did not get a call back. Still no appointment for tooth extraction, left to be in horrible pain. Seems like no one cares.
Your failure is directly responsible for when I kill myself
Knowing that someone is really sick. The doctors there do not prescribe any medication for anything and that’s really wrong because people need meds to help them
Was so emotional and empressed with their service today for my older son. Through his health problems and helped him to really reach out for help in all aspects. I am proud to have them on the team of specialist that… cares for him. I can relax more easily tonight knowing that he is finally going to get the care he needs. Thank you and praise the Lord for people like y'all that do the things you do every single day to help others.
I have been trying to get services for my daughter since May. 7 whole months and these people have not helped at all. This is the most ridiculous and worthless agency. So much for trying to get the mental health… services you need
I went through intake over the phone and tried 15 times to make an appointment. Called over and over and over again. Left messages, Nobody ever answered the phone or returned a call. Everyone working there should be… fired.
If my life depended on Bluebonnet Trails for help, I would have committed suicide by now. One counselor & two Executive Directors and numerous people in between, I still have no help, just lots of duh's, um's,… what's.....
I have called & left messages & they never call you back.I would not recommend this place
Updating 2 years later. Still getting the best treatment. Becca is a wonderful provider, and easy going, and truly has a heart of gold. Amanda is wonderful and always has been, I have been speaking with her since 2019.… The lady’s in the front Amber, and I forget the other ones name.😩 But, they’re extremely helpful, and always so kind. The nurse Regan has always been very kind, and gets back to you in a timely matter!
I have been after them for three weeks to sign a paper saying I am able to drive on my medication and have been violated by requiring a drug test which is not part of what is required of the company trying to hire me on.
Stupidest doctors ever!
I lost my medical insurance and was really struggling with my mental health. Bluebonnet Trails has made a world of difference in my life. They are serving A LOT of people so at the beginning when you’re getting used to… things be patient. It’s worth it. It might take a little bit before you can get an appointment at first but it’s because they are helping so many people. Every single person who works there wants to see you get well. They all care about what they do and you can tell. And they have so many different resources to help you it’s amazing! On a side note if you’re reading this then either you or someone you care about is dealing with mental health stuff and I just want to say, keep fighting. It can get better. Don’t give up.
Paula and Keith went above the call of duty for our family and I cannot thank them enough for the superb support, they were the answer to our prayers!!!
The service was terrible. I waited over an hour to see the doctor, and after entering the room, it took another half hour. I don't recommend it. 🤬😡
I wouldn’t come back here ever. Took forever to get services. Took forever to even get a call back for a psych appointment with the doctor and I even had to go elsewhere. They also called me and told me they were… discharging me from their services after I just moved. Idk what I’m doing but I’m trying to get my life together before figuring out where I’m going for my mental state.
My child was scheduled for an in-take appt for 12:30pm. The day prior, I received a reminder call that the appt was for 12, so I arrived at 11:33am. At 12:23 I asked why we hadn't been seen yet. Apparently the lady… doing our in take went to lunch from 12 to 1. That's unprofessional and rude. I traveled 30 minutes with my autistic child and had the courtesy to arrive early. My time isn't less valuable than yours!
Reputable service from eager staff
Love it
I give MHMR a 5 star. If I could, I would give them a 100 + star. They have been my rock. If it wouldn’t of been for Bluebonnet trails mental health, I wouldn’t be here right now. I give everyone there a 5 star! Thank… you BTMH ❤️
