21851 84th Avenue South, Kent, Washington, 98032 is the address held. This address falls in King County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. I have been going to the Kent Comprehensive treatment Center for a little over a year now. I did have a small break after only being a client for 3 months or so. But came back because I was ready to use the program for… what its intended for. I've made some friends at the clinic. I credit the in person art group for helping me rediscover my love for coloring/drawing. The staff are always super friendly. And the counselors are all here for us when we need the help. If you've contemplated going to a methadone clinic, I will always recommend doing it. Cause it saved my life as well as my girlfriends. And I will always be grateful for that
Im on my second week this week and I truly love it the two girls in reception are total sweethearts and my counselor Amy i knew her 5 seconds before I knew I was in good hands I instantly felt comfortable and that I… could tell her anything and I new she actually cares and isn't there just for a paycheck ! And idk why I didn't listen to people sooner about getting on the program it's working and I'm slowly but surely getting better
Staff cares about clients, they wan't you to get clean & stay clean.
I know that some people don't like this clinic-;it has always been fairly hard-ass about continued use,and has some high expectations, but it doesn't really penalize people for their slips. (IMO, a relapse is only a… failure of one stops trying)... On the other hand, all of the counselors really seem to be dedicated to, and care for, their clients- many of them are in recovery themselves- like a sponsor. I've attended this clinic and it's predecessor for many years, and, although other clinics closer to me have had better reviews, I have always figured that 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!', and I'm still there, and sober, despite some slips over the years. I can honestly recommend it as a good place to begin one's recovery. Some people in this thread have said that there are a lot of people on this program that are still unsig... Well... DUH!! Bottom line is that If one never tries the program of methadone maintenance to facilitate recovery, well, you'll never know. (It drives me nuts that many people say I'm still a junkie, when I take only my Methadone dose every day, and they have several/many meds that they have to take daily! Addiction is a DISEASE!! (And, if that means taking a dose of methadone every day for the rest of my life, so be it! (Who knows- Ill probably be on blood pressure meds, statins for cholesterol, 81mg Aspirin for my heart, prostate and even dementia meds before too long- I am pushing 60)... If they keep me alive, sane and sober, I'll take 'em!) Just IMHO, of course. We all need to find what works for each of us, weather it be cold-turkey detox, methadone maintenance,AA/NA meetings, etc... again, you've only failed if you stop trying. Hang in there, my friends!
KTS have changed the way they do things.since COVID they are getting people up to higher steps more rapidly.after just 2 weeks I was put on step 6 and now get a weeks worth of " Carry's" and only have to go 1 time a… week. Since these changes there are no lines ever. People are happy going there, atmosphere inside and staff are very positive a complete 180 compared to pre COVID treatment. Highly Recommend
I hw very yy
I hope Clyde no longer works here. Oregon clinic now and this place is like in a different country. There are other clinics in the area. They are still owned by CTC so don’t expect big changes.
Great place. Was pretty bad but someone new took over and it's gotten alot better.
The counselors really do care!
Writing this because I tapered off Sabutex , my counselor Debra was there for me supporting me and being there every step of the day. I felt that she truly cared about me . Nurses are professional my favorite two are… Reya and Clyde if you are comitted and take this treatment seriously and do what you are supposed to do, you will be fine you can do it , you owe this to yourself. Thank you Debra I will miss you 💓
Counselors are biased liars and hold personal vendettas over political beliefs. They do not truly care about wellbeing of patients recovery. Many let pride and ego get in the way and hinder the recovery process out of… spite. As far as myself and other clients recovery it as risk and these counselors as well as supervisor do not deserve their positions if they feel the need to play with people's lives. I see a human rights and malpractice class action lawsuit in the near future.
The rules in place are important to maintain sobriety. The first year I’ve had there has been mostly positive. Most of the negative comes from unruly and loaded clients. The staff has been pretty darn good. Wait time is… usually short. I would recommend Kent treatment solutions to anybody that needs help with opiate addiction.
This place is full of lies.
This place is your typical American corporate greedy business pretending to be a drug treatment center. Full of "counselors" that need mental and emotional help more than their patients. All these places are pretty much… the same but some are worse than others. If you're looking for a place that cares even 1% about your life, well this isn't the place. They want compliance and your insurance card, or cash, that's it. I just wish these places would be honest about it already. You could show up to dose in a hospital bed hooked up to an iv with oxygen, in a coma, pushed by an orderly and they would harass you about, going to group! It's almost as if they only care enough to stay within state and federal guidelines to make their obscene amounts of money! wink, wink.
I have been going to this clinic for two years and have loved every step it's been so much better than using drugs. I highly recommend this place if your going threw it look no further go see them. I have had some… issues with a couple ppl but all in all a really good place to be.
I've been a client for about 7+ years, I'd say it's helped me 25% out of 100%....
I gave a very negative review about a week ago since then I've had some very positive experiences there especially with Debra the counselor. She's amazing and is willing to work with my husband's disability and… approached him with compassion and understanding, which is all he ever wanted! Well see how it goes from here and hopefully the positive experiences will continue. If this place continues to work with its patients like that then this will be a great place to come.
Very compassionate staff who work quickly to make you well!!! Your Not just a number here which makes a difference.... Do what is right and right things happen.... Attitude is everything... 5 stars all day for KTS!!!!
I am a heroin/xanex/anything-but-uppers addict. So right out of rehab, I knew I was NOT ready to trust myself without precautions in place. I looked into the blocker shots. But they hurt badly apparently. So I ended up… on methadone when KTS was in renton by the dollar tree years ago. Let me make this VERY clear. Of the Counslers I have been very fortunate to be assigned, all 3 have been so SO important in my recovery. Winter was my last Counsler. And my current is Jennifer. Jen is amazing! I can't listen to any Counsler who hasn't been through EXACTLY what I have. It helps a lot when your needing to trust them. There are some new Counslers who I very much dislike. However the nurses have been working %150 to make sure we stay clean and sober while having medical support. I truly love all the nurses currently working as of this review. I'd say listen to the new reviews. This place moved a few years ago, and struggled with staff for a while. It's all been fixed tho! PLEEEASE feel at ease signing up here. And ALWAYS know that CLINICS DO NOT TAKE ONLY CASH. You have the right to free dosing on state Healthcare. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Good luck! Will V
I don’t know where to begin with this review, mainly because there has been so many positive changes at Kent-Solution/CRC, especially in the last year or so, it is so worth mentioning. Iam a Step 5, (monthly carries),… which is the highest step you can earn, and I know I can speak on behalf of other Step 5s, when I say that a lot of us have been clients for many years, and have rolled with the punches when it comes to being labeled “drug addict”, which meant a lot of long waits, lack of communication in every department , which always caused unnecessary confrontations, so coming in once a month was always unpredictable. My current counselor Haifa, is Amazing. She is always concerned on my progress regarding my treatment plan, and after 14 years she is the only counselor that encouraged me to finally taper down off Methadone and move forward! I’m so excited:). The Nursing team, Clyde, Laura, Reyes etc, are so much the heart of the clinic, and what I mean by that is, with all the negativity those nurses have to deal with, I have always been treated with respect and a smile, & to watch them oversee their patients is so heartfelt & rare, I know Iam in Nursing:) Their teamwork is so welcomed. And last, meeting the new Director Erica Allen, last month, explains why everything has changed for the better! She invited me into her office without question, bubbly yet professional, and said if I or anyone had suggestions or concerns to bring them straight to her:). In closing, all the recent transitions that the Clinic has gone through, has made my life so much more stress free on so many levels, that I found it worth acknowledging!
I've been a client here since August of 2017. I'm not proud of the choices I made along my path in life that made it necessary for me to seek treatment but I am proud that I made the choice to seek help here at Kent… Treatment Solutions. This is one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Thanks to the staff here at the clinic, particularly my treatment counselor, Ms. Karen, who has been there for me from day one I am finally got my 'life compass' back and I'm heading in the right direction. I won't tell anyone that this is or will be an easy ride....it's not. One of the many things that Ms. Karen has helped to learn not to do is to not compare myself, my individual treatment plan, and my progress with anyone elses. We are all individuals. We are ALL unique. What works for one might not work for anyone else...but that's ok! Part of treatment is learning about yourself, your mind, your body and what your capable of. You only have to move at your pace! One of the main reasons I chose Kent Treatment Solutions(KTS) rather than another facility is because when I spoke to people who were or has been attending KTS there was one common thing that kept popping up that I did t heart about other clinics. Can you guess? Here it is. It's such a some thing but it's made the biggest difference. THEY ACTUALLY CARE. The staff are there because they want to be. Many of the staff are recovered addicts themselves. You won't get anyone that has only learned about addiction and treatment from only reading a textbook. T hey know what we're going through; what were feeling and the struggles we're facing and they really CARE! So, if your struggling with an addiction and you want your life back... give them a call. It's a very simple process and I they will be there with you every step of the way. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!🤩😇
I have been going to kent Treatment Solutions for almost two years and it is a very good clinic they have helped me maintain a clean and sober life i would recommend them to anyone trying to stay clean from opiates.
Worst customer service ever. Minimum of an hour wait in line, 2 if it's a holiday the next day. That place is hell.
I have a real concern about the new head nurse Clyde. He has been doing some very cruel and weird stuff towards a male I know. Asking him to turn around while doing a UA and to lift his shirt to see his private parts… fully. That isn't the case as he has been with the clinic for 3 years all they have to see is stream coming out form it to the bottle. We filled a complaint but will take it further up to corporate. Other then that the clinic and the people are amazing especially Rand and Pam are very nice and super helpful
