Save my life definitely a hundred percent

first appointment is “first come first serve” starting at 8am bc of “insurance” even though osf never did that to me. ive tried for weeks to get in in between my daughters school hours and cant. they dont understand how… much harder they are making it for people to receive mental health services. i dont even feel like i can receive the help i need bc i cant get there in time. its horrible how they handle mental health like that. i wouldnt recommend this type of incoming treatment to anyone as its only made my mental health worse trying. ive called my primary doctor bawling bc i feel i cant receive the help i need. im now going to have to drive 1.5 hours away to champaign to be seen by psych. dont go here, unless you have literally no other option even when i went years ago they didnt do any good listening to me when meds didnt work and ended up being on meds that made me worse for months before i gave up on treatment for years after that. i thought id try again but they havnt changed and this system does an injustice to the mental health field.

Receptionist had a nasty attitude

Trillium Health/TazWood is the absolute worst company to deal with. They mess up billing, have the worst scheduling system, and show no concern for patients (which is just a horrible way to be a psych provider). Carle… Health as a system overall needs to be better about treating its patients like people and customers, rather than acting like you are providing some kind of altruism by being a health care provider. You are a business that needs to learn customer support. Instead, you expect your customers to jump through hoops when you're the ones making money - that's just not how life should work, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I have been seeing nurse practitioner Jon Mooney here for the last several years. If I could give him a 10 I would. Not only is he kind and supportive but he treats you like a partner not as less than. He will explain… all the options he’s thought of and the pros and cons of each and let you make the final decision. If you have an idea he hasn’t thought of he will consider it too. He is also wonderful at keeping contact with my therapist so we can all work as a team.

why don't you take appointments for substance abuse evaluations? I called yesterday to make an appointment and was told this was a walk in clinic and I could walk in anytime between 8am-2pm. Keep in mind- I don’t have a… job because I need this evaluation to get my drivers license back and I used the last of my money to make the 2 hour round- trip ride to the clinic. I couldn’t come any earlier than 1pm because I have classes in the morning but I wasn’t worried since I was told walk-in hours were till 2pm. So I walk in at 1pm and I’m told I cannot be seen, and also told I can’t make an appointment to be guaranteed to be seen another time. I am very upset that I can’t schedule an appointment and also that I was told “we take walk-ins till 2pm” NOT that “we stop seeing patients at 2pm”. What a waste of time and money.
