Reviews of Radius Foundation Inc appear in this section, gathered from around the web and from patients and families who share their experience on RehabSeekers.
This facility is a scam. 5 minute check ins they call 1-1 sessions that they charge your insurance one hour for and groups are supposed to be 3 hours total for this level of care but are only one hour long, also charge… the 3 hours to insurance. I have turned them into my insurance fraud line and so have others. Doses are not given sometimes if you question anything by Barton the Clinical coordinator and his CEO/owner Dr. of Theology Bramlee. Beware and do yourself a favor, go somewhere reputable. Do your research and read all reviews. If you love someone, do not recommend here.
Community wellness center. Helps people struggling with addiction. It's exactly what it says on the sign community wellness Center there is an epidemic out there. Thank God there are places like this people suffer going… through withdrawal and end up stealing just to get the pain to subside.
Horrible. Multiple days that they couldn't dose due to no staff. Employees were like bums
Absolutely terrible. Unless you live in the area find another clinic and save yourself a lot of trouble. Today is the second day there was no nurse and “Doctor” Bramlette was present, refused to dose me and wouldn’t… even speak to me. That’s radius in a nut shell.
I am speaking from my experience only, do your research nurses! The counselors really care for the patients. The owner is very rude and talks to staff and patients in a condescending manner, very unprofessional. Ask… other patients before working or dosing here. Also talk to your insurance company about what is covered. There are a lot of fees and other costs associated but not told upfront. Mandatory drug test every month $150, insurance does not pay for this and weekly fees. Some businesses are in place to help people, DO YOUR RESEARCH!! Check the website, ratings don't lie! Most of the good reviews are from patients who don't want to be kicked out of the facility. The counselors are great!!
They have good counseling. They do there job right. The nurses at dosing station is nice. I'm glad l came to this facility. I know there strict, but it's necessary if you want to get better.
It is the cleanest clinic in the south side and the staff is nice especially Don and the females that give people their dose are very nice. Expect the guy at the window where you sign in he is rude and prejudice him and… the owner are all about the money they don’t care about the people at all I was told I had to buy a lock box but I didn’t get a chance to get one and the guy at the window said will rent you one for ten dollars the lock box he rented me didn’t even have a key to lock it and the lock box literally cost about 3 to 5 dollars and they charged me 10$ just to rent it for two days so Monday I will be going back just to give them their lock box and I’m done with that clinic. All the clinic does is replace your addiction with another and a even worse drug methadone! which gets in your bones, and it should only be given for 3-4 days tops so if anybody wants to get clean I recommend st. Anthony’s on 19th and California they put you on methadone and keep you for 3 to 4 days tops slowly weaning you down and you’ll come out feeling way better. methadone clinics are just money hungry legal drug dealers they should not be charging for drug test nor an admission fee of 45$.
Great place. Saved my life
If you mind your business, do what you have to do... I have 0 complaints. It's the cleanest clinic on the south side and the ones giving a low star rate are the ones still using that never grew up. Simple as that.
I'm glad I saw the reviews on this place I was going to transfer here from another clinic. I was told they accepted Medicaid and it should cover everything where I shouldn't be charged then I read the reviews that drug… tests aren't covered 150 also a 45 dollar sign up fee never had to pay that at any clinic your insurance should cover everything they need to sell that lie to someone else I've been on methadone for quite a few years and going back over ten years or more all fees are covered by Medicare, County Care etc. I'm not trying to go from a clinic where most everything is ok to a nightmare I went through that at a similar clinic in Maywood where the rules changed week to week and they were always kicking people out for one reason or another. I can see by the owners response to ex employee that he seems very childish and temper mental, also who ever I spoke with when I called to get information sounded either high or very tired if that's how you answer the phone something is very wrong it made me research this location and thank God for Google reviews.
Great place, saved my life.
Only one councilor cares about the patients
Wile I was going here I seen things and I was subjected to things that were just terrible. I remember quite well the having to back date one on one consoluor sessions that never took place. And when I said I don't think… this is rite I was told if I don't I could leave not be dosed for that day and kicked out of the program . More like extortion. I seen many many times where a patient was like two dollars short or five dollars short and told well if you dint have the full amount . You can't get tour meds or they would dose them for that day but if they didn't have that two dollars by the next day then no take home bottle for Sunday . The Dictaor of the clinic would make people or his employees address him as Dr .Bramlett I refused He has a PHD in Theology I thought that was Ironic I never seen a grain of compassion from that guy . Every person who I ever met that had some kind of interaction with him be it former neighbors or ex employees or patients all had one thing in common when his name came up . JERK .
Very unprofessional I worked 3 weeks and Dr.Bradley does not what you to talk to coworkers unless it has to do with work. I asked about holiday pay which they do t tell you that you won’t get unless you have been there… 2nd the not in any paperwork. Then if they let you go they mail your last check and if you call to ask about it after a week of not receiving he will file a false police report and state you are harassing the business and calling everyday. Yes I am going to call about money you owe me and I have not received. And this man is supposed to be a pastor somewhere. Be careful at this place real shady
Great staff
This place saved my life! Also taught me how to be a better person! A few write ups will for sure do that. No, seriously it is a very good place but only you must want it. Also, mind your own business and do not talk to… anyone outside of RFI and you’ll be golden! I like everyone that works here, especially Mr. Butler! Dr. Bramlett is a good man, you just have to get to know him! Julia... EDIT: I MISS EVERYONE OF YOU SO MUCH!! WOULD LOVE TO VISIT DR. BRAMLETT BUT I WAS TOLD IF I STEP ON THE PROPERTY, THEN DR. BRAMLETT WILL CALL THE POLICE ON ME AND I WILL BE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING! THAT I WOULDN’T WANT THAT IS FOR SURE!
In a good neighborhood but they close 1.5 hours for lunch. Unacceptable.
It works if you let it and the staff is extremely awesome and understand. Thank you 😊
I started my methadone journey at radius about 4 years ago, then i had transfered to a different clinic because I was having a few issues at radius... BUT since then I have went back to radius and RADIUS HAS BECOME 100X… BETTER THAN IT WAS BEFORE. Groups are therapeutic, and the counselors are great. They do not sugar coat anything and will tell you what you really need to hear. I NEVER FEEL JUDGED BY ANYONE HERE NO MATTER WHAT YOU TALK ABOUT. Radius has gotten soo much better over time. I do recommend. The only issue i have is that they close at 2pm but stop dosing 20 mins prior to then. So make sure you are there 30 mins before close.
Radius is a very clean organized structured place to go if you wanna get help and live from the owner to the counselors they are great and there to help Dr. Bramlett is running a great clinic 9 times out of 10 bad… reviews are left because they couldn't get away with things if you still wanna use and make excuses about payment Radius is not for you if your ready for help and to have your life back then hthhey will welcome you if you.want to go to clinic just sko you don't get sick go to 80th and Ashland dirty people selling drugs out front unorganized zoo Radius is clean quiet organized and there to help what people don't think about is if Dr. Brankett let people get away with things everyone would expect it and that's not a way to get help he runs a great clinic the counselors are awesome they really care the required meetings people complain about are necessary for help they saved my life in many ways my insurance covers everything live Radius from the owner to the counselor's I thank you all so much for caring about me
A place to find help with addiction
So if anyone needs a good place to go get treated ffor opioid addiction you need to go to Radius Foundation. The counselors are great the doctor is fantastic just follow the rules and ask questions to the professional s… that run the place. Your there to get help focus on yourself love yourself take your medicine go to groups and live your life. The sooner you get better. the sooner you can get out. Stay away from negativity and make goals for your life at what you want to be and where you want to go. You got to work on every part of your life physically ,financially, emotionally, spiritially, leave it to the professional s and be happy. You been in a cloud for too long. Thank you
DO NOT GO HERE money hungry crooks. The environment and staff is unprofessional. They will lie and say your insurance does not cover you. WILL CHARGE YOU EVERY WEEK When I say unprofessional. I repeat unprofessional… they don't know what their doing. the older male counselor will spend group talking about the counselors. gossips worst than a women and the blonde haired girl doesn't know what the hell she's doing.. The man who runs it is no phd bramlet he has a major inferiority complex If your a white male prepare to deal with major racism YES SERIOUSLY. if your trying to recover DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE at running a business im surprised they are still around they won't be for long,.
