As a patient since 2018 who has successfully reached Phase 6, I want to share how much this clinic has improved, largely thanks to dedicated staff. My life is completely turned around—I have repaired my family… relationships and rebuilt my credit. My counselor, Cheryl, is absolutely amazing. She is compassionate, hardworking, and deserves 5 stars. Jerry is also an exceptional nurse who always brightens my day. I also want to thank the long-term staff and the wonderful new nurses. However, high staff turnover and redundant paperwork are severe detriments to patient well-being. It is incredibly hard for patients in recovery to constantly restart with new counselors and clearly they've had this problem since before 2018- 26 counselors in 4 or 5 years is unacceptable and probably why A lot of patients failed and stopped going to the clinic. Cheryl is frequently doing multiple jobs due to understaffing. Management needs to streamline all the paperwork that has to be repeated every 3 months... for stable patients that should be done every 6 months then I could spend more time talking to my counsler instead of working on my treatment plan, which is exactly the same as it was three months Because I'm stable and nothing's changed, hire more support, and give these crucial workers the raises and pay they deserve so we don't keep losing them. -Thank you to the dedicated team at Madison West for changing my life-
Coming to Madison West has been the best decision and all the staff are incredible!
Staff is great and very helpful
Selena is the hardest working person I know. She brings in enthusiasm and genuine care for her community.
Love the staff, especially Selena!
Selena was great and she really helped me through a tough time love her
I left a review 6 years ago for Madison West C.C. I transfered to P.A.S. Psychology Addiction Services shortly after i left the review. It is like Night and day different. I'm treated like a human at p.a.s. I've been… now on phase 6 for the last 5 years and getting ready to taper off. I was just thinking of how bad it was at Madison west and how much better it is now at P.A.S. i thought maybe i should update my review. Also P.A.S. is a privately owned clinic. They also have 2 doctors so if for some reason you don't see eye to eye with one doctor there's another doctor. Also one doctor is a guy and the other is a lady if you prefer a specific gender doctor. Obviously I can't speak for how it is at Madison West C.C. now I only can from when I went there. I really hope the place is better for the patients sake. It's hard enough tring to get off opiods without the place that is supposed to help you treating you like either a piece of filth, a Prisoner, or an insurance payout.
This place has been very supportive and reliable through my sobriety. Both Jerry's (clinical supervisor and nurse) are wonderful and the others nurses are great too!! They are caring and extremely supportive with… everything that has happened throughout my sobriety journey. Being open and honest had been the key to my success. I've been sober for years now and I know that without Madison West CTC, none of it would b possible. Thanks guys!!🙂
I have been at Madison west for 5 yrs now I will admit when I started the first 2 yrs were ups n downs but because of finally getting a great counselor (Molly) u was able to get in the right path n stay clean and worked… myself up to phase 5 one yr later I again was moving up to phase 6 but 2 days b4 I moved up they bumped my back down to phase 3 for missing my call back witch I agree was my fault nobody else but mine I have been still clean and busted my ass to make sure I get back to my old phase. But again just last week I had another call back from this Jerry who doesn’t even work in the clinic who isn’t even my counselor called and my children answered the phone and hung up witch is my fault to deal with my children but to bump me further down because the man can’t call back again how can I come in for a call back if there was no voicemail left no answer from me what am I supposed to do if you never even called back one more time. I’m transferring to ASAP were my mother and brother also go and have nothing but great response from the ASAP clinic. I just want to say to anybody who works hard, stays clean, put in the effort, wants to do better for themselves, should not be punished for all the hard work to achieve their freedom from drugs I take responsibility for my actions but I WILL NOT TAKE BLAME FOR SOMEONE WHO CANT SEE PAST ANYTHING BUT MORE MONEY IN HIS POCKETS. I use to love this clinic but it has done nothing but work its way down to the bottom of the list of clinics, 1. My pee sits in the bathroom tray for hrs b4 it’s even moved away from others tampering with it. 2. They treat there staff like they don’t go through hell with the patience who do act like children. 3. They don’t care about you, or how far you can go if given the opportunity, by their own actions. 4. The clinic has been slowly going downhill with no real effort to improve. 5. Management doesn’t even work at the clinic and doesn’t see any of the patients in person.
I went here for 4 years. And for the last 2 years was lied to and withheld information about a mobile clinic who is much much closer. I was driving from baraboo to madison every single morning. And my counselor nor… anyone informed me , knowing I was burning up my miles on my new vehicle and burning up my money on gas, never told me there was a mobile clinic who goes to baraboo and portage. I'm telling anyone on here now, if you live anywhere near barabboo, do yourself a favor and switch. You will not go down in dose. I am a veteran and have alot of paperwork bs to transfer. Was a breeze and fast. I'm currently dosing at psychological addiction services in madison which also provides mobile dosing in baraboo and portage. I loved a couple people madsion west but overall not a great experience. Especially with them lying to me about a place that's so much closer and better I'm. Nothing switches when you change. Not your dose. Nothing. You dint lose your phase. None of that. Do not continue to be lied to and dealing with lines i promise you, psychological addiction services.
EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, but more importantly they DID THEIR JOB
Hi, my name is Enrique Bracero and I'm a recovering addict. I arrived from New York a year ago and joined the program two months later. Since then, I've been here as a patient, and they've truly helped me tremendously.… I also recommend this program to anyone who really needs it and wants to make a change in their life. I even have a job that pays very well, and I've stayed clean thanks to Madison West Comprehensive Treatment Center. One day at a time.
This clinic only works for people who put in the work just like other clinics but what sets it apart is caring staff here to refer you to any resource you need based on your own goals and needs regardless of where you… are in your life or addiction.
So I attend Madison West Comphrensive Treatment for methadone maintenance treatment, the staff at this place is great they are very personable and truly want to help the people who come thru there doors. I'm very… appreciative that this place is here for those of us who need the help.
This is so sad. Staff is being directed to write positive reviews lol. None of these positive reviews are from your patient's. SCAM! Come on Google why do you alow this??
This is an amazing clinic with very passionate and helpful staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for treatment and counseling.
Some great improvements at this center. Many passionate staff and really patient focused!!
I have been going to this place since 2013. It used to independently owned, in 2015 or there abouts it was bought along with four other clinics in wisconsin by Arcadia health out of Tennessee. Immediately it changed.… They replaced the entire staff, including the medical staff with inexperienced counclers without complete degrees and a medical staff of people who are disrespectful, condicending and rude that only care about the companys bottom line. I will tell you about a instance that happened to me, i also hear this same thing from other patients. I was placed on a split dose by the previous companys doctor and when arcadia bought it they had every person that had a split dose meet with their new doctor (a split dose is having two doses onstead of one a day, which was determined by a doctor and numerous tests to be medically necessary). So when I had my meeting with their doctor he proceeded to tell me that arcadia doesn't give split doses. He didnt care that a previous doctor had tested me and found it medically necessary, all he cared about was what arcadia wanted. So he dropped me 160mg almost half of my daily dose in one day. Which caused me to go into severe withdrawl and start using again after being totally clean for almost 3 years. I was actually at the time wanting to start getting off methadone but because of what that so called doctor did put me right back to the beginning. I feel as though the medical staff is not there to help me, just there to help their employer. The one brightspot has been my last two counclers they seem to listen and understand, but they have no bearing on doctor. What the previous company did was to have the counclers and doctor come together on a treatment plan. Arcadia has a one plan for everyone attitude. I am so glad there are other methadone clinics opening now. I was hoping to be off by now, hopfully i find another clinic that actually cares about its patients health and not just about their health insurance.
Please remember when you see all the negative comments that these people are just grown adults acting like little kids who didn't get their way. Being able to go to a clinic and get help is a privilege, not a right.… People seem to think they're owed something, and just like in the majority of life circumstances they are wrong. If you don't seek help for the right reasons then you are sure to fail. I've been to several and this clinic was extremely nice every place has its ups and downs, just depends how bad you want to succeed
I went to this clinic for a few years and can't tell you strongly enough to STAY AWAY. It used to be owned by a smaller company that actually cared about the patients, but a national healthcare giant named Acadia… swooped in and bought all the clinics in Southern Wisconsin, including this one. Since then it has been a mess. Horrible wait times, patients cluttered like cattle in the lobby, mostly inexperienced counselors or counselors who are good that won't stay, terrible clinic directors (the last one had a long rap sheet and bilked the place) and a corporate culture that puts patient care at the bottom of the list of priorities. You're better off going to detox and withdrawing from opiates than going to this place, which makes you feel like a lowdown, dirty junkie every day with the way they treat you.
THE WORST! This place was sheer he!! through much of 2017--three and four hours to dose, constant counselor turnover. I had a counselor I finally liked adn they canned him over a bunch of bs. ITs run by a company from… tennessee who hired a woman with a theft felony to run the clinic. If they get there money they don't care. Avoid this place if you can!!!!!!
The Clinic is Now open on Sundays. Whixh means for patients as myself we will no longer be.given take home doses for Sundays when for years it has been Closed on a Sunday. We have to come in on Christmas Eve and New… Years Eve. Phase 1,2.and 3 do and phases 4-6 do not. We were only told this 2weeks before Chrismas and New Years. We are to be giving a 30day notice writen in writing and given or posted on the board according. Now the Madison East Comprehensive Trratment Center on World Dairy Drive is closed during Sundays, and on Christmas ans New Years; and this is suppost to be the same company? Tell me please how this works? I wouldn't suggest Madison West-CTC to anyone, go to Dairy Drive.
If you are trying to decide where to get help for your addiction, I beg you, try anywhere and or everywhere else first. The administrator does not care for addicts and this is greatly demonstrated by her insane and… ridiculous new rules; go somewhere where you can receive help and where you are treated like a human being. You will only find headaches, stress and disappointment here. And once you are in they will not allow you to transfer, so you will be stuck! Please, go to East.
